His song selections were spot on and got everyone dancing, which honestly made our whole day feel like a celebration rather than just a party. He was incredibly flexible and professional the entire time, from planning through the last song which he had to do impromptu to flex our timing. It really says something when other vendors only have great things to say! He did such a wonderful job on our wedding day and really kepted everything flowing smoothly with no hiccups. Our ceremony sounds was absolutely perfect and the microphones were sooo easy to use and captured all the sound perfectly. Jon was great at making announcements, (even though it wasn't planned) like when he had to tell people to go to cocktail hour. We also had a photobooth package with him and the attendant did such a great job running the booth. It was definitely the most popular event and our families still raves about the pictures they took! From the moment we met Jon, he was just so easy to talk to and knew exactly what we wanted for the day when we shared our vision. Jon is so professional, supportive, and positive, and I can't imagine having someone else on our special day. He is definitely worth the money and I would hire him again without a doubt for any event!”

I was nervous to find the right fit and was so relieved to have found Summit Events. From the beginning, we ended up working with the DJ who would perform the night of. Chris Funkhouser (who seriously brought the funk!) was amazing to work with! During our consultations he was able to answer all our questions and concerns. He was able to put his swing on things from his experience to help provide the right vibes we were looking for. We pretty much already knew all the songs that we wanted to play so the program they used was perfect! It was detailed in the timing of the night, how long or short to play songs and any other special requests we wanted to have. On the night of the wedding, Chris was a blast -energetic, observant, and focused on keeping the dance floor alive all night long. He even joined us out there, helping to keep the party going strong! He was able to use his best judgement in placing some of the lighting and monogram details we chose which turned out great! The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

From start to finish, his communication was excellent—clear, responsive, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. Our venue had the ceremony site, cocktail hour, and reception all in three separate areas, and DJ Neal was more than accommodating with his setup. Everything transitioned seamlessly and without any stress for us. He truly went above and beyond with the lighting setup as well. It completely transformed the space and looked incredible—it added so much to the overall atmosphere of the reception and the pricing was very inexpensive. Compared to other DJs we considered, his package options were incredibly well-priced for the level of service and quality he delivered. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ experience and would highly recommend DJ Neal to anyone looking for a professional, talented, and reliable DJ for their event!”
