“I've never worked with a DJ as good as Drew and his crew. Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. He got the crowd going, the dance floor was always packed and he invited the couple up to DJ booth which was so fun for them and also amazing for pictures. One of the highlights was when they split my father-daughter dance, playing a sweet song for the first half and then transitioning into our favorite upbeat song "All Star" by Smashmouth, which got the whole wedding up and dancing. We couldn't have asked for a better band to make our special day so memorable.The morning after so many guests came up to us raving about how fun they had dancing and singing. From the B52’s Love Shack, Zombie by Cranberries, to Chapelle Roan Pink Pony club- Business Time absolutely rocked it. Not to mention the acoustics for the ceremony made my husband cry. They truly have such talent on all ends. Cannot not recommend them enough, they made our wedding so memorable.”

“John is an amazing DJ . Having him from the moment we chose him to the day of our wedding having the monthly check ins really helped make the process easier. One thing we really loved is he played all our request. He worked around our schedule, using video chat to finalize everything was great ! We gave DJ Shyne what we thought was an impossible challenge: blend pop hits, Spanish tunes, emo throwbacks, Disney jams, booty-shaking hip hop, and a long list of theme songs from our favorite TV shows and movies (everything from The White Lotus to Saw). “What can I say about Jay besides "WOW". I had wonderful service from all of my vendors and still, I was blown away by the service given to us by Jay. Instead of just providing us with music on our wedding night, he made sure to build a relationship with us and cater every aspect of his services solely to us. Meeting with him made it feel like you were the only client he was working with and he really made you feel cared for and appreciated. He was wonderful during covid, working with us to move our date seamlessly, and met with us multiple times to create a custom first dance song, complete with private interviews with my husband and me that was a surprise to hear for both of our guests and us as a couple. People told us they teared up at our first dance and that it was the best first dance they had ever seen because of the wonderful work Jay did. He stepped up and performed duties that weren't even required of him, like making sure we stuck to our timeline and got announcements that needed to be made to our guests. Jay really carried to vibe of the party on his own by playing a wonderful mix of music for all age groups at my wedding and kept the dance floor full all night. “We hired Closing Time for our wedding band and they absolutely blew us away. Due to weather issues out of our control (including loss of electricity at the venue), the band was unfortunately unable to play live music for our ceremony and cocktail hour. However, they were able to quickly transition to prerecorded versions of our processional/recessional songs. Despite the power still being out for the first two hours of our reception, Closing Time delivered. They were incredibly professional throughout and the live music was absolutely phenomenal. “My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. “Joseph and Erika played a huge part in how special our wedding day was. We genuinely enjoyed every single part of working with them, from the beginning stages including them hearing our vision and vibe for the wedding, during the planning and using the app which made outlining our event and plans so easy, to the event itself where they really engaged all of our guests and got the party going. Even though we had a brunch wedding, Joseph and Erika helped it feel like we were "dancing the night away!" We had so many of our guests immediately after the wedding and for weeks after comment on what talented and amazing musicians Joseph and Erika are and how fun they helped to make our reception. We loved that they included both live renditions of all of our favorite songs as well as had a killer DJ playlist. Definitely don't miss out on the sing along songs. This duo is so easy to work with and they were so gracious when we fumbled a little on the timing of our event and added an additional hour only to their set only weeks before the wedding. All to say, we are just so grateful we found Joseph and Erika! They are gems.”

“DJ Buono & DJ Tavo & crew were absolutely incredible!! As a news reporter, I can appreciate producing a SHOW and that is exactly what they put on! This was SO much MORE than a great wedding!! From the first phone call, DJ Tavo's excitement and attention to detail was top tier. DJ Buono helped sculpt our ENTIRE reception & even gave us the idea to have dinner become more of a performance with our violinist. They immediately welcomed her into the mix and it made for the BEST time!! You would have thought she worked with them nightly. This was an elegant night out in Boston meets IBIZA!! We could barely sit still to eat because we were all dancing in our seats!! I have never seen guests rush the dance floor like this. (& I've once been to 13 weddings in a single year) To the point, we had to tell some of them to sit down so we could do parent dances!! People literally could not wait to start dancing/celebrating!! We cannot believe this was our WEDDING!!! & it wouldn't have been the same without Black Diamond Event Production! People are still messaging us to say this was the best wedding they've ever been to! Not only is this team so talented that it is almost out of this world, they are also good people. People you'd want sitting at your table, people you'd want in your corner, and people you will want to keep in touch with forever. DJ Tavo sent us our dinner and reception mixes as they played the night of our wedding almost immediately. Which means we can keep reliving this night!! It was such a sweet surprise. We will never forget this & will be recommending them to all of our friends and family. We will scream it from the top of Boston's Prudential Center (where our reception was) if we have to! Not to mention, this was the FIRST ever full wedding reception up there (with this guest count) and they took on the challenge with EASE!! Book Black Diamond Event Production!! You won't regret it!!!
