Affordable Elegance String Ensemble is a collaborative ensemble of experienced professional musicians dedicated to bringing the beauty of live string performances to weddings and nuptials alike. Our high level of knowledge and experience allows us to provide an elegant performance that enhances the atmosphere of your special day. Music for your nuptials/wedding can be chosen from our vast repertoire (classical and non-classical) or, should you choose to add a personal touch, we can arrange any music for your event. We love to perform current music and would be happy to provide an arrangement of a piece for a nominal fee.

Originally from Chattanooga, TN, Marshunda co-founded and managed East Tennessee's Premier wedding musical group, The Lake Terrace String Trio for 10 years until her move to the New England area in 2006. Marshunda started playing the cello in the 6th grade because she had a crush on a boy....who played the cello. The rest is history! Having finished two masters degrees at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville she has since moved to the Boston area. Marshunda has conducted many youth ensembles and has been a guest conductor with various orchestras in New England. Currently, Marshunda is a Waldorf school music teacher and cellist.
