Forever starts here ... with your ceremony! Set the tone with your choice of Prelude Music as your family and friends arrive! We'll make sure everyone is "mic up" so every word is heard with crystal clarity and our sound engineer will cue all of your processional and recessional music as your ceremony gets underway. You can also opt for live musicians from the band and make any number of customizations to make your ceremony so it feels like "You". Any special ideas, just let us know!

Literally the best investment of the wedding!
If you are on the fence about booking King Of Hearts, look no further, they are the right choice...trust me! I am a professional ballet dancer and had a wedding crowd of highly skilled dancers and musicians and EVERYONE could not stop raving about how incredible they were. The performance they put on was so high energy, no one left the dance floor all night...it was electric. They truly made the entire day magical! Mark was so easy to work with, listened to all my thoughts, and followed through perfectly! After navigating planning my own wedding, Mark made me feel so at ease and made sure the day went seamlessly! The sound engineer cued the ceremony perfectly, despite not having a rehearsal. The musicians were each individually incredible and together they played as one...truly no notes! They had great interactive moments to get the crowd going, and even let my husband play the guitar after guitarist played behind his back! They truly provide more than just music; they provide an experience that left lasting impressions and formed amazing memories. We can definitively say that this investment was some of the best money spent for our wedding! Please trust me on this one and book them ASAP!

Your Wedding Reception Needs KOH!
When I first started planning our wedding, I knew that finding a good band was a top priority, but it was hard to know where to start with so many options out there! Our photographer said she had worked a wedding where KOH was the band, and the minute I checked out their website, I knew they were the perfect fit! After sending in an inquiry form, I had the first of what would be many conversations with Mark, the owner. From the moment we chatted, Mark felt like a friend. I appreciated how genuinely kind and friendly he was - there was no sleazy pitch or him trying to upsell me. Mark's strong music background and passion really shown through, and after our initial conversation, I booked King of Hearts 2 (the sister band to KOH) to perform at our wedding. Mark and I had multiple check-in's leading up to the wedding. Mark was unfailingly positive, and we were able to add ceremony musicians about 2 months before. We also had some unique song requests - asking for instrumental versions of "Amazing" by Teddy Swims for my processional song, and Mark and his team had no issue making those happen live. I also appreciated that Mark took care of travel and hotel arrangements for the band, so we could focus on the music! KOH2 is led by Leon, who is such a personable MC! The band had fantastic energy, and also did a wonderful job reading the energy in the room. As part of our package, we got to pick 3 songs that the band would learn that weren't on their set-list, and one of them was "Lose Yourself" by Eminem. This is not an easy song to learn or rap, and to say Leon crushed it was an understatement. This was the final song of our reception and it was epic in every sense of the word. I also love that the band took some band photos in our photo booth - it was really fun going through those pictures and seeing them. The bottom line is if you're looking for a "real deal", incredibly talented and professional band that blends the best of Motown with pop for your wedding, King of Hearts 2 is the way to go! We got multiple comments from guests on how talented the musicians were, especially the guys who played during our ceremony. Thank you, Mark, Leon, and team, for making our day so memorable, and we are so happy that "Lose Yourself" is now a staple on the set-list!

Mark and Maiya Are the Best!
We absolutely loved working with Mark and Maiya. We did a 5‑pack of lessons with them for our wedding dance, and the entire experience was outstanding. When people ask me what my favorite part of our wedding was, one of my answers is always that our dance truly popped. Mark and Maiya were incredibly organized, responsive to every email, and handled all the scheduling seamlessly. They even helped us choose a song - Coming Home by Leon Bridges - that embodied our relationship. From day one, they made us feel comfortable on the dance floor—I was pretty "stiff" when we started! They were collaborative throughout the process, and it was obvious they prepared between sessions. They’re also just genuinely fun to be around. We miss hanging out with them now that the wedding is over. Their attention to detail was amazing—Mark would even pretend to be the MC announcing us as “Mr. and Mrs. Horwitz” so we could practice our entrance onto the dance floor. By the big day, we felt confident, brought the energy, and had zero nerves. Kaitlyn’s dress moved beautifully, and the final lift landed with real impact. We couldn’t recommend Mark and Maiya more highly. If you want a wedding dance that feels natural, joyful, and uniquely yours, they’re the perfect team.

An absolute hit!!
We had the absolute best time working with Mark and King of Hearts 2 and couldn't recommend them more. We knew Mark and team would be amazing because they also performed at my sister-in-law's wedding last year. Mark is incredibly organized and compassionate - such a calm and supportive energy amidst the craziness of wedding planning. Mark always offered helpful solutions and was a consistent sounding board for our ideas and questions throughout the process. King of Hearts 2 was such an incredible hit at our wedding. The entire band brought so much energy and care to making the weekend amazing. They executed our wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception perfectly - learning all of our new songs and executing them beautifully! Leon and team were beyond talented, brought incredible energy, and just lit up the night. Our guests could not stop talking about the band and we couldn't be more grateful for them - we were sad to say goodbye when the night was over! We hope all our friends use them so we'll get the chance to see them again :)

The Best Wedding Band Around!
We originally came across King of Hearts on our Venue’s sister property’s preferred vendor list and we were truly so lucky to have had them as our wedding band! One of our biggest components on our wishlist was an action packed dance floor and King of Hearts delivered and then some. From our first call Mark was dialed in and was listening to every concern and question we had and immediately put our minds at ease. From ceremony through cocktail hour to the very end of our reception they have every aspect covered. They were even able to cut and mix songs for our dances so we got exactly what we wanted. We paired the band package we chose with their first dance lessons (shoutout to Maia!) and we are still getting compliments about how fun our first dance was, Maia gave us the blueprint and dance moves while still keeping everything true to us. On the day itself, KOH was a well oiled machine, hitting every cue for our ceremony music and playing all the songs we loved during our reception and did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping the party going. Mark was an absolutely perfect emcee and kept the night moving along and the dance floor FILLED. We cannot say enough great things about Mark and the KOH band and from guests to vendors the compliments were rolling in with how much fun our dance floor was. If you’re looking for a band and vendor that will bring the fun and energy while keeping everything organized and coordinated on the back end look no further than King of Hearts.
