“We kept getting compliments weeks after the wedding about what a fantastic venue choice this was! We had great weather on 9/28/2025 and it was a beautiful place for a nice sunny daytime wedding. Immediately we were sold on the panoramic views of Mount Tom and the overlook, the patio area with plenty of room for games, as well as the delicious food options. The staff really took it to the next level! We worked with Amanda for most of the planning phase. She had spreadsheets to collect all our information about our plans for the day in order to handle as much of the legwork as they could. This worked like a dream. Kelly was our day-of coordinator, and she was an absolute joy to work with. My wife and I seriously couldn’t have done it without her and our lead server Ellery, as we had planned lots of speeches, a video game tournament, line dancing with all the guests, and more. Everyone at The Log Cabin was completely dedicated to bringing our ideas to life and pulled the whole day off perfectly. We didn’t have to worry about a thing, so we really got to enjoy ourselves with our friends and family! I would happily recommend this venue to anyone.”

“Birch Hill is phenomenal!! From the very beginning of the process, Serena was by our side, always answering any questions we had, making sure everything was clear, and making sure we had everything OUR way. The day of, she exceeded my expectations; she was AMAZING - literally running around to make sure our day went smoothly (which it did). Literally nothing went wrong other than running 15-20 minutes behind schedule which wasn’t their fault! Food was amazing, and everyone thought so, we heard the bartender was awesome as well as the drinks he made, and the venue itself is just beautiful. We had our ceremony at the pond pergola and our reception in the Colombia Ballroom - both absolutely stunning and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better day, thanks to Birch Hill & Serena and even Kelsey who helped Serena the day of! We can’t thank Birch Hill enough for everything they did for us and our big day and we are so glad we trusted them; would recommend them 1000 times over!”

“The Riverview was the most amazing wedding venue we could have ever dreamt of! We highly recommend this place to every couple looking for the perfect venue for their big day and here’s why: • PRICING was SO reasonable, the packages you get for the price you pay is truly unbeatable. You get an open bar, a multi course meal (served or buffet style - we opted for served), a FOUR tiered cake, butler passed hors d’oeuvres, and SO MUCH MORE. We had a guest list of 200 people attending our wedding and this venue made our dream wedding not only a possibility, but a lavish reality without forcing us to spend our whole life savings! • SERVICE was absolutely impeccable. From the minute we set foot into the venue till we walked out as husband and wife, we were treated like royalty every step of the way. Not only did they pamper us as the bride and groom but they ensured that every single family member, our whole bridal party, and each individual guest had every single thing we could’ve ever asked for or needed on our big day. KAYLA, MEGHAN, the coordination team, the bridal attendants, the bartenders, and the whole staff ensured that our wedding played out without a hitch. When my husband’s suit tore right before the ceremony, MEGHAN was on deck with a sewing kit within seconds to save the day. Numerous guests commented on how every dish served was a hit. • THE DRINKS were flowing all night. From welcome drinks to the open bar, we told our guests to come thirsty and the venue DELIVERED. “This venue was perfect from start to finish. This hotel/venue has beautiful sweeping Hudson river views. This is a dog friendly venue. It is also only a 25 minute drive from local Albany airport. The venue has a modern industrial vibe. Aaron, Laura and the whole Wire team were very accommodating and kind from day one. This venue is all inclusive. We were were able to book hotel blocks for our guests. The rooms are clean, comfortable and modern. We were able to stay in the bridal suite (Heron Suite) for a total of three nights. This room is beautiful, it has a large 4 poster bed, sitting room and huge bathroom with large walk in shower. We had our rehearsal dinner at the Patrick Henry ( one of their restaurants on site), which is adjacent to the venue property. The food was delicious and gave off a casual vibe for out of town guests as they were arriving. The day of the wedding the bride and groom have their own beautiful getting ready rooms. The bridal getting ready room had a lot of natural light and salon style chairs for hair and makeup. The morning after the wedding we had our brunch at the Day line Roof top bar, which is another restaurant on the property. The food was a delicious breakfast buffet. If you are looking for a beautiful venue thats all inclusive that your guests can stay at all weekend long and enjoy themselves, this is it!”

“FRE exceeded our expectations for a wedding venue. We got married on a Saturday in September 2025. Had around 100 guests. We felt like the staff carried out the day seamlessly. They were so accommodating and responsive. The food and drinks were excellent. They treated our guests so well—to the point where many people (like I’m talking 15 people separately) said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to. The hotel rooms were lovely and it was soooo amazing to have people able to stay onsite. We had an after party downstairs in their restaurant and people were raving about how fun it was. We were worried it wouldn’t be worth it to invest in a big wedding, but we were wrong! It was awesome and I have literally nothing but rave reviews for FRE.”

“When we started planning our wedding, we knew that we wanted our guests to truly experience the simple beauty of the Hudson Valley. That is what led us to the Abeel House. Our entire day was magical. I walked down the aisle on a little pebble path, surrounded on both sides by wildflowers. Our wedding guests were seated on hay bales in the prairie, the sun on their backs and the stream behind them. After our ceremony, we celebrated in the restored barn behind the historic Dutch stone house. We split the barn into three sections — one to seat our guests for dinner, one for the dance floor, drinks, and dessert tables, and one for the local bluegrass band we hired. As evening came, we turned on the twinkle lights in the barn and danced the night away. You could see the stars through the open windows.”

The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. Jack took it upon himself to dig it up and return it to us—an act of kindness we won’t forget. We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality and attention to detail from both Jack and Ripley. Our guests are still talking about the wedding, using words like epic, incredible, and amazing—and it truly was. We had a clear vision that required close communication with the staff, and once we shared that vision, they made it happen seamlessly. They even timed the music and smoke perfectly for our entrance into the venue. The venue is clean and offers so much room for decorating, both electronically and within the space itself.
