“I worked with DJ double E at a wedding last October. It was a very small intimate wedding. The crowd was older and didn’t feel much like dancing. The DJ crew still gave it their all to get the crowd going. They were out on the dance floor with the 5 people willing to dance showing them dance moves to songs the crowd didn’t know. They were extremely personable and professional. Their equipment had beautiful covers so that they looked nice and blended right in with the wedding decor, rather than staring at poles and wires. Would absolutely recommend to future weddings and events.”

Pre-wedding: He contacted us a month in advance, but was open to answering any of our questions even before then. Justin was flexible and accommodated as best he could to all of our requests, such as setting up in two spaces since our cocktail hour was outdoors, acting as our MC, keeping the mood upbeat, and playing special music for our Tea ceremony. “DJ Fish is hands down the best. Leading up to our wedding Dave came to all of our virtual calls so prepared and helped guide us through the entire process. He was always available and definitely helped to take some of the stress out of the planning process. We were worried that our intimate wedding of about 75 people might not feel like a party but that was not the case at all! Dave had just about everyone up on the dance floor. He is truly the best at what he does and did so many fun things throughout the reception that made it even more memorable. He also owns his own Photo Booth which we decided to add on when we were about a month out and so happy we did! I couldn’t believe how easy it was to schedule time with him leading up to the wedding. We had several video calls and he was always calm and confident as we dished him all the stress we could manage. He knew just what to say to ease our tensions with any part of the process and was helpful on all fronts, not just the music. Imagine a young Rick Rubin who’s going to make your day happen through fierce professionalism and calming holistic approach. Day of, Lucas was there early and making sure all the gear was working and problem solving on the scene to make the experience even better than we had talked about. He was able to not only have the music playing through the two large speakers we had planned for outside, but also got it seemlessly hooked up to the speakers throughout the interior space. This was key, because we had to last minute move the whole wedding inside due to rain. It was priceless to see see Lucas problem solving all of that with plenty of time to spare because I had so many other things to worry about with the shifting rain plans. I knew I didn’t have to worry about that whole part of it though, and the quality of the sound throughout the day really smoothed over all of the last minute adjustments and helped make everything feel like it was all part of the plan. It was a perfect day beyond my wildest expectations, and Lucas Walters was a huge part of that.”

“We booked Collins Entertainment for our October wedding at the Interlaken Inn in Lakeville, CT. We had an unbelievably amazing experience with this company from the top to the bottom. Our DJ, Jared, was exceptional with music selection, a master emcee, was accommodating and seemed to be everywhere at once. My guests left saying he was the best DJ they've ever seen at a wedding for how many hits he put out. He was able to read the crowd really well, and knew how to get everyone on the dance floor. Jared had battery-powered setups for both the ceremony and reception, so we didn't have to worry about outlets in a remote area outdoors, which was very nice. Our planning sessions with Jim, Mitch, and Jared were comprehensive and they gave us all the tools we needed to succeed. The package price was very reasonable too, and was a leading factor for why we chose them as well. We used their mirror photo booth as well, which was very fun. The mirror booth even came with a long red carpet! The operator, Randall, was very accommodating and helpful with guests, making it fun and easy for everyone. I studied with a principal cellist of the Rochester Philharmonic. I am well versed in music other than classical, and am well versed in many different styles.
