“As I finally begin to write this review, my mind does not know where to start. Sena and Shelly have made it hard to find such meaningful and beautiful words to describe just how wonderful they are. Having phenomenal, near & dear photos of my wedding day was extremely important to me and as I spent hours meticulously researching and thumbing through every vendor– photographers ranked at the top of that list. As a bride, Sena was my main point of contact throughout the whole process and I could not thank her enough for being my hype man and being SO understanding. Furthermore, I truly feel that the attitude of your vendors can change everything when planning your own wedding, and Sena was such a delight to chat with. From over 300 days out to the big day, she came with such a calm yet electric energy that was contagious! She would've been my bridesmaid if she wasn't holding the camera and I mean that from the bottom of my heart! Again, knowing that your vendors want to be there for you and not make a quick buck is so relieving. They understood my budget and worked hard to make it happen without underselling themselves, or giving me less than what I wanted. Seeing them both be so excited to capture such a day meant the world to me. seeing the sneak peak after, not only can I obviously see the love poured out between my husband and I, but I can see their love poured out unto their craft. Each photo has so much love and energy behind it. To brag some more about how phenomenal these people are, Sena and Shelly even went out of their way to pick up my bridal flowers and make the bouquet for me! They adjusted my veil at my ceremony, helped me put my heels on, offered to get me my food at the reception, even asked the bartenders for dish soap when my dress got pollen on it, and proceeded to scrub it off my dress! I'm sure I'm missing some things, too! Okay, okay, if you’ve read this far, I think you're thinking what I’m thinking and that’s: HIRE THEM! Honestly, (although I don’t think I have to) I beg of you, hire them. These are great and amazing people and I cannot wait to see where else their photography takes them. “Isaac was absolutely fantastic to work with, and we couldn't be happier we chose Love Knot Photography for our wedding. From the start, what stood out was how much he cared about capturing the actual feeling of the day rather than just working through a checklist of poses. He and his co-photographer had a great eye for the in-between moments — the little glances, the laughter, the chaos of getting ready — alongside all the formal shots we expected. Looking through our gallery afterward, so many of our favorite photos are ones we didn't even know were being taken. He was also just easy and calm to have around on a hectic day, which mattered more than we realized it would. Weddings move fast, and having a photographer who was unobtrusive but always exactly where he needed to be took one more thing off our minds. One of the things we appreciated most: he and his co-photographer stayed well past the time included in our package, all the way until we started dancing. That extra stretch of time meant they captured some of the best — and funniest — photos of the whole night, catching our friends and family completely in their element on the dance floor. It wasn't something we asked for; they just wanted to make sure they got the shots. Isaac also went well beyond the package once it came to editing. Our contract included 300 retouched photos, but we ended up with around 550 edited images and 717 total files between web and print resolution, including alternate crops and versions of several favorites. It's clear he genuinely cared about giving us as much of the day as possible, not just fulfilling a contract. We're so glad we chose Love Knot Photography, and we'll be treasuring these photos for years to come. “My (now) husband and I chose to hire Jennifer from Captured Couture as our photographer for our wedding. We were both blown away by her images posted on her website and Instagram page and after having a phone interview we were convinced she was the one for us. Jennifer was communicative and so easy to work with. We were able to get a free engagement session with the purchase of our package which was awesome because we were able to meet her in person before our actual wedding. The day of the wedding there were a few minor hiccups as our wedding was the same day as the Detroit Pride fest, and we weren’t sure some of our desired locations would be accessible. Without a moment of hesitation Jennifer, who knows the city of Detroit incredibly well, was able to secure a location for our first look and our wedding party photos which turned out to be perfect. Jennifer and her assistant LeAnn captured every part of our wedding with some much care and attention to detail. Our photos are spectacular and we are so thankful for our photography team.
