I’m a Michigan based film & digital wedding photographer & I document weddings using real film to create romantic, one-of-a-kind fine art of your beautiful day. I photograph with vintage 35mm and medium format cameras and modern digital. Every wedding includes a personalized album filled with the complete set of 4x6 prints from the film photos Alongside film, I offer hybrid digital coverage in order to document the full day seamlessly, with true-to-life edits that keep color natural.

My approach is calm and intuitive — I focus on documenting real moments as they happen, and create unique portraits that feel relaxed, effortless and natural rather than stiffly posed. I have a BA degree in photography and over 10 years experience documenting hundreds of weddings, I’m drawn to the honest in-between moments, meaningful details, and emotional rhythm of the day — creating images that feel artful, personal, and real.

    Incredible crowd control!

    Karrn did such an amazing job wrangling our families, we had a super last minute hardly planned wedding with a very loose schedule and lots of moving pieces, let me tell you Karrn was the lighthouse in the storm! She was very pleasant but firm and got people where they needed to be. Her demeanor calmed my nerves and she really helped us relax and enjoy our moment. The results were absolutely fantastic, she totally captured the vibe we were going for. Thanks so much Karrn!!

Karrn uses mainly film cameras and all the photos you see on this listing as well as most the website, are all taken with different vintage film cameras.
The film negatives are scanned by the lab after they are developed. The scans are directly shared with you without any editing. The same process as the film images you see in my portfolio. These high-resolution scans are uploaded to a digital gallery with download code. You'll also receive a 4x6 printed copy of each film photo.
Any high resolution digital files are custom edited by Karrn in true to life color & editorial black & white. You receive access to all your final edited photos in a private digital gallery with download code. No watermarks or logos
35mm film is my preferred method of photography and I absolutely adore capturing the love, energy and relationship between an engaged couple during such a wonderful time in their lives. I offer this free with weddings as a gift and it includes 2 rolls of film, 4x6 prints in a keepsake album and high-resolution scans in a private digital gallery with download code.
