About this venue

The Cheney Place is a warehouse for those who can't wait to design their "urban meets vintage meets modern" wedding. We hope our building will woo you with its polished concrete and original hardwood floors, its frosted warehouse windows, and it's turn of the century freight elevator. The open format and crazy flexible space screams of possibility. And we just happen to host the area's largest collection of vintage furniture rentals onsite to make design a whole lot easier. We love old buildings. And we love great design. But what we really love is pulling it all together to help you create an amazing day!

Say hello to your own urban boutique event space. For those who can’t wait to design their industrial meets modern wedding.

With its polished concrete floors, frosted windows, exposed beams, historic elevator and market bulb lighting, your custom reception design is off to a great start. Our space can host receptions up to 300 guests. And we’ll work with you to fill it with the tables, furniture and chandeliers you love.

    The Cheney Place was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. From the moment we started planning our wedding all the way from California, the staff at The Cheney Place were on top of it, providing us with excellent communication and guidance every step of the way. The venue itself is open, airy, and beautifully designed, creating the perfect atmosphere for our special day. Despite the distance, the team went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was exactly what we envisioned. We are so grateful to The Cheney Place for helping make our wedding day truly magical.

    My husband and I just got married at The Cheney Place, and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about this venue! The space is absolutely gorgeous, and I loved that I could have my ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in the same place. Not only is the space amazing, but the people at The Cheney Place are phenomenal. We had Colleen as our Day of Coordinator and she was wonderful. She made sure our entire day went smoothly, was extremely creative in decorating our space, and was always willing to answer any/all of my questions throughout the process. I would choose TCP as my wedding venue a million times over, and I am so thankful for TCP and Colleen for making our day the best day ever! :)

    We are SO thrilled that we chose The Cheney Place for our February wedding! From the moment we stepped inside, we knew it was the perfect venue. The combination of industrial charm, elegant details, and modern touches created the most breathtaking setting for our big day. The space is incredibly versatile, allowing us to bring our vision to life effortlessly. The natural light, gorgeous furniture, and unique décor elements made for stunning photos. Plus, having multiple levels gave our guests plenty of room to mingle, dance, and enjoy the celebration! The staff, especially Hannah, was incredible to work with! Leading up to our wedding, communication via email was easy and efficient, and they were always helpful in answering our questions. Everything went smoothly for both our rehearsal and wedding day, and we felt completely taken care of. Our only small frustration was the accessibility of the office staff from the main entrance. Since their office is on the far end of the second floor, they couldn’t hear us when we were dropping off or picking up décor, which led to some long waits outside, even when we had appointments. That said, this was a minor issue, and it in no way affected the actual wedding day, which was executed flawlessly! If you're looking for a one-of-a-kind venue with character, elegance, and a great team behind it, The Cheney Place is the perfect choice! We wouldn’t change a thing about our wedding day and are so grateful to the team for making it unforgettable.

    The Cheney Place is an incredible choice for a wedding venue! The entire staff was incredibly kind and helpful. From the day we booked, they were always available to answer any questions or help with anything we needed. They make planning a breeze! Meg was our day of coordinator and she was so sweet and helpful. Coordinated with all of the vendors ahead of time and made sure everything was set up perfectly! Ellie took over later in the day and made sure everything went smoothly and cleaned everything up so quickly and helped us get all of our stuff! I cannot stop raving about how great they were! On top of the great staff, the venue is absolutely stunning. I received so many compliments on how gorgeous the venue was and how it was unique. The elevator entrance for the bride was also a huge hit!! 100% would recommend to anyone that they get married here!
