About this venue

The Cheney Place is a warehouse for those who can’t wait to design their "urban meets vintage meets modern" wedding. From a warehouse of included furniture you won’t have to rent to a collection of modern curated tabletop details to elevate your design, everything is here onsite. We are all inclusive where you want it with options were it matters. Our goal is to make full service and design easy which is why we also include full service coordination with every wedding. Design: We will meet with you to develop a custom floor plan and assist with linen and tablescape options Event Setup: We’ll set up tables and chairs and stage all personal décor Tear Down: When your party is over, we’ll pack everything up Coordination: We’ll help plan your timeline and coordinate details with your vendors the week of your event. We manage your event, ceremony, entrance, toasts, + send-off. Prime season 2027 (Reception + Ceremony) rates: $6,800/ $7,800. Friday/Saturday.

Reception Space

Say hello to your own urban boutique event space. For those who can’t wait to design their industrial meets modern wedding.

With its polished concrete floors, frosted windows, exposed beams, historic elevator and market bulb lighting, your custom reception design is off to a great start. Our space can host receptions up to 300 guests. And we’ll work with you to fill it with the tables, furniture and chandeliers you love.

    The Cheney Place is an AMAZING venue! From start to finish, they were the best of the best. Every staff member that we worked with or encountered, were so professional and helpful. Meg is hands down the best coordinator we could’ve hoped for!

    We had a perfect wedding experience with The Cheney Place, and could not be happier. The communication throughout the set-up process was great and very clear, and they were always happy to answer any questions we had. Many of our vendors had already worked with The Cheney Place and so it was easy for everyone to work together seamlessly on our big day. Grace and Megan were fantastic the day of, setting up decor and ensuring everything was coordinated and ready to go. Any extras in the moment they were happy to provide. We could not have asked for a better wedding and we are so grateful to everyone at The Cheney Place for making it the best it could be.

    The Cheney Place was an absolute dream venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first inquired, their communication was prompt, clear and detailed - making the planning process a breeze. The quality of their work and overall value was truly exceptional. The space itself is curated to perfection, with a beautifully appointed interior and ample room for our guests to mingle. It felt both spacious and intimate, with a timeless elegance that set the perfect tone for our celebration. On the day of, I barely had to lift a finger - the staff executed all of the decor and setup flawlessly, allowing my husband, our family and I to simply enjoy getting ready and soak in the excitement. They even handled direct communication with our other vendors, removing any stress from my plate. I was completely floored when I walked downstairs to see how everything had come together without needing a single additional direction from me. The Cheney Place truly went above and beyond to make our wedding day an absolute dream. We are so grateful for their incredible service and highly recommend them to any couple looking for a stress-free, beautiful wedding experience.

    The Cheney Place was the perfect wedding venue for our special day. From the very first interaction, their communication was quick, detailed, and professional. The staff and coordinator made sure our day went perfectly, executing every detail exactly how we wanted, from the decorations to the flow of the event. The space itself is absolutely beautiful, with so much character throughout the building that we barely needed any of our own decorations. The bridal suite was large and perfect for our sizable wedding party to get ready in. The quality of their work and attention to value was top-notch - the space was clean, colorful, and had great vintage designs. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our marriage. Highly recommend The Cheney Place!
