I am a storytelling and documentary elopement and wedding photographer based somewhat in Ludington, Michigan. I'm obsessed with nature, rocks, travel, and documenting everyday life. I love art & live music. I went to school for architecture and ended up obsessed with photography. I homeschool my kids and we spend most of our free time hopping from mountain bike parks to national parks to lakes between Michigan, Arkansas and Arizona and everywhere else we can.

Romantic, documentary, and playful. True to color, connection based, with a nod to those film photos that make you feel at home, fun candids, and some beautiful no-stress portraits. I'm available in the West Michigan, Arizona & Puerto Rico area, most often with minimal travel, but I'll go anywhere. I love my wedding galleries to feel truthful- honest documentation of the day that unfolded. I want my couples to look at their photos and remember their day, all the small moments, big laughs, and have those feelings be tangible pieces to take through generations.

    Picking a photographer for our wedding was daunting. It felt incredibly personal as they would be with us all day. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Jessica is. She is truly like family and knows exactly how to make you at ease no matter the occasion. Beyond her being a fabulous person her work is absolutely outstanding and you won’t be disappointed. Since our wedding we have done maternity and family photos, and will never go anywhere else!

    Jess started out as our wedding photographer and we were so impressed with her quality of work but also her comforting personality. We have now used her for family photos and plan to always use her for big events and documenting our growing family

    Jess has done pictures for/of me for all of my big milestones. Graduation, engagement, wedding, maternity and family pictures and every single time they come out absolutely perfect and even better than I could imagine! And not only are the pictures perfect, her professionalism and communication is above and beyond. She is truly the best and I will always go to her for our pictures!

    Jessica does more than take great photos, she makes the whole experience great! I messaged her on a whim about elopement pictures, I had found her work on a blog post and fell in LOVE! She worked quickly to find a date that worked for us both. She was more than just a photographer, it felt like she was my wedding planner. She sent information on boutiques to find a dress, vendors, and hairstylists. She always kept in touch whether through messaging, phone calls, or meeting in person. When the elopement day was finally here, she made sure to meet up with me before getting ready. When I didn’t like my updo, she got her own styling tools to help me fix my hair. It felt like I had my best friend there, not a photographer. She knew all the right locations for photos and was extremely adaptable when things didn’t go as planned. She was very go with the flow, but always present, which I appreciated. The turn around time for my elopement album was very quick, maybe 3 weeks max. They were flawless and exceeded my expectations! I will be using her again!
