Opened in the Fall of 2016, The Ballroom stands as our 4th historical landmark in a pastoral green setting. All staffed and catered in-house, The grand Greek revival facility with its towering columns continues to honor the legacy of Charles Ellis, a local entrepreneur. Built in 1932, the location was used as a school for girls around the Philadelphia area. The Willows is a historic hilltop wedding venue in Villanova on Philadelphia’s Main Line. Built in 1910, the Spanish Revival mansion sits within 49 acres of parkland with rolling hills, mature trees, trails and a picturesque pond. Outdoor ceremonies take place against the mansion’s distinctive curved stucco wall and fountain. Cocktail hour can move through the mansion and terraces, followed by dinner beneath a white tent on the hillside and dancing in the mansion’s light-filled solarium. The Willows accommodates weddings of up to 150 guests during tent season, with smaller winter celebrations inside the mansion. Weddings at The Willows are catered by Peachtree Weddings. This beautiful historic building, offering many photo opportunities, was built for the YMCA in 1908, then purchased and renovated by CCHC in 1993. Your guests will also have access to the award winning museum's many galleries in Horticultural Hall, designed by Thomas Ustick Walter and built in 1849. This building has the distinction of housing the first Pennsylvania women's rights convention in 1852 among other influential historic events and performances by well-known 19th century entertainers.
