I'm a digital and film Wedding Photographer in Los Angeles, CA. I'm trilingual and multicultural -- and it's my favorite thing about me. I will travel Southern California for your love story, from San Diego to LA, to Santa Barbara. My style is documentary and photojournalistic with a bit of an editorial and creative charm. I want you to look back on your images and be able to still feel the emotions within them for decades to come, truly.

Fatima was wonderful to work with for our wedding. Even before we met, I could feel how much love she puts into her work and how much she cares about her couples. I love the warmth and depth of her editing style. She is extremely professional and organized. Both our engagement and wedding photos were ready within our agreed timeline as well as the sneak peaks. Fatima provided the perfect balance of direction and candid moments. We had so much fun posing for photos but she also captured our special quiet moments. We are sooo happy with her photography and highly recommend her for all engaged couples!

I’m Mysi (pronounced, boringly, “Missy”)! I’ve been at this thing for 12 years and I keep falling more and more in love with it all. Give me intimate micro-weddings, quirky dive bar weddings, raucous South Asian weddings... my team and I absolutely thrive in chaos and emotion. My specialty is catching the moments and those tiny moments in between. ✨✨✨

Soda Fountain Photo was a fantastic choice for our wedding photographer. From the beginning, their communication was easy and they always responded quickly to any questions we had. On the day of the wedding, Mysi, the lead photographer, was an absolute joy to work with - she had such a sweet and fun energy that put us (and our bridal party) at ease. Most importantly, Soda Fountain Photo captured all the special moments of our wedding day with creativity and care. Being in the production industry for more than 10 years, we've been through a lot, we've seen a lot, and we've captured a lot of beautiful moments on tape for our past clients who have become a part of our family.

Awarded Best of Zola
Marry Me Studio was an excellent choice for our wedding photography. Iman's communication was efficient, polite, and professional throughout the entire process. They show up on time and work efficiently. The quality of the work and the value provided were outstanding. The photos from our engagement session were fantastic, and we can't wait to see the wedding photos, which we know will be just as excellent. They really know what they are doing and were also open to incorporating our specific preferences. The Marry Me Studio team made sure the entire event was properly captured, and we are confident the final photos and video will beautifully preserve the memories of our special day.

Jess Onesto
Rating: 5.0 (14 reviews)
Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style

Jess is a wedding photographer serving couples from Los Angeles to New York City. She specializes in documenting moments with honesty and optimism to showcase her couples’ love for each other, love for their people and their love for a damn good time. “My work is bold, enduring, and honest.” With more than a decade of experience as a photographer and a background in fine art and film photography, Jess approaches each wedding with intention and a sense of novelty. She works in both digital and film mediums and her work has been featured in publications including Martha Stewart Weddings, Destination I Do and Brides.

Awarded Best of Zola
Since receiving our wedding photos from Jess, several of my friends and family members (including 2 professional photographers!) have asked me for her contact info because of how amazing her photos are!! When we started looking for a wedding photographer, we knew that we needed to find someone with a great eye for candids, who wouldn't make our pictures feel too staged, who had a fun/funky vibe like us, and who could handle wrangling my extremely large family (full of very opinionated people) for family photos, and Jess handled everything with ease! I feel so lucky that we found Jess, and I cannot recommend her more. Jess made everyone feel comfortable throughout the entire wedding day, and even gave guidance to family members who are normally awkward in photos (e.g. suggesting ways to pose to make them more comfortable). Jess went above and beyond throughout the entire planning process, checking in with us, getting to know us, and even coming to a venue walkthrough so she could get a sense of the space! I am so grateful for all of the work Jess put into our wedding, and the photos turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I rarely even like photos of myself, but I honestly am so in love with the ones that Jess took that I jump on every opportunity to whip out my phone and share them with friends!

Hi! I’m Jordan, a wedding and event photographer and videographer dedicated to capturing love stories with authenticity and artistry. My style focuses on natural moments, ensuring you feel comfortable and confident. From intimate elopements to grand celebrations, I document your day with timeless, beautifully edited images. Beyond weddings, I also specialize in capturing milestone moments like graduation portraits and formal events. Let’s work together to create unforgettable memories that you’ll cherish for years to come!

Awarded Best of Zola
I have known Jordan for a while as an event photographer and wasn't sure if he did grad pictures, especially for groups. I was pleased to figure out that he does grad photos too and is extremely flexible about it! I had a group of around 11 people, and he was able to give me quick responses about the rate, which was an absolute deal. Jordan really cares for his clients and makes sure that everything is discussed before the event, including an itinerary. He was extremely flexible if we needed an extra hour and potential location itinerary changes. Coordinating 11 people for a photo shoot is not easy, but Jordan managed to do it with ease, attention to detail, and efficiency! Thanks to his expertise and creativity with poses and shots, we got some amazing solo and group shots that we will remember for a lifetime. He magically makes the experience very efficient, but is also not afraid to have fun! Highly recommend!

Indigo West
Rating: 5.0 (10 reviews)
Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,900

I took up photography at the ripe age of 11 with a Polaroid I borrowed from an aunt. It quickly became my sketchbook as I worked to capture stills of the world and people around me. Those images have continued to pay emotional dividends throughout my life, helping me better understand what I have now come to see through a new scope. They are grounding, melancholic, funny and beautiful. Some of my most cherished possessions.

Awarded Best of Zola
Choosing Daniel from Indigo West as our wedding photographer was hands down one of the best decisions we made. From our first conversation, we loved his calm, thoughtful demeanor and his organic, artistic approach to capturing the day. His eye for composition and detail is exceptional and the photos truly tell a story. As a same-sex couple, we wanted someone who could move beyond traditional wedding clichés, capture the grandeur of our museum venue (complete with dinosaur skeletons) while making it feel intimate, and handle dark, dramatic spaces. Daniel did all of that and more. He captured the energy, emotion, laughter, and joy of the day beautifully. Daniel was efficient but never rushed. He was professional yet playful, and it felt like he immediately understood our dynamic as a couple and with our guests. We trusted his vision completely, and it absolutely shows in the photos. Most importantly, Daniel brought such a fun, relaxed energy—it never felt like he was just doing a job. We can’t recommend him enough.

Chozen Adventures Photography

Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style

I’m Eddy, a Los Angeles wedding photographer who believes the best photos happen when people feel relaxed and are genuinely enjoying their day. I capture weddings as they really feel — the laughs, happy tears, and all the in-between moments — while helping couples feel comfortable in front of the camera. I also tend to become everyone’s compadre pretty quickly, helping guests loosen up so natural, joyful moments can be captured throughout the celebration.

Working with Chozen Adventures Photography for our wedding was an amazing experience. He made the whole process easy, professional, and so stress free. What I loved the most is that he made sure we felt comfortable the entire time. He even brought my favorite beverages as a thoughtful personal touch, which meant a lot. The photos came out beautiful and truly captured our day perfectly. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a talented and professional photographer! :)

Kenzie Kate Photography
Rating: 5.0 (5 reviews)
Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $6,500

I'm admittedly wary when it comes to the Wedding Industry and all of it's bells/whistles/expectations, and at the same time, I believe wholeheartedly in the power of community, love, commitment, and collective joy. I think that weddings-- in all of their forms and reclamations-- ultimately serve a great purpose in reminding us of these gifts. I come from a long line of meticulous documenters and hold a degree in Sociology, all of which informs the way I approach photography. I am curious about people, am in awe of the display of emotion, and am passionate about the ways in which we construct family and community.

My husband and I worked with Kenzie for our engagement session in the summer of 2021 and our wedding in the spring of 2022. As you can tell from the timeline both sessions were at the peak of the Pandemic. This season was filled with excitement but also stress as we balanced our family's health, our deepest desires for the wedding, and the weight of the global pandemic. Kenzie gave us the peace that we so desperately needed. All in all, she was our favorite wedding vendor. After our initial onboarding Zoom call, my husband and I turned to each other and screamed did we just make a new best friend?! She is not only professional but personal. She has a great artistic vision but also respected the direction we gave. Kenzie takes a photojournalistic approach to her work and because of that, we feel like these moments are enshrined in history! My favorite Kenzie touch was the pre-wedding survey she provided us that helped her understand what emotions we had going into "the most important day of our lives". She prompted us with questions about the relationship dynamics between our family and friends, and the quirky details of our love, and our answers allowed her to capture more than just a single snapshot in time. Kenzie's photos capture FEELINGS. Thank you thank you thank you and we cannot wait to work with you for our next life event!!

Fitz Carlile Photography
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves Los Angeles, CA

The kind of work I do within the wedding photography genre is very distinct - every image stands on its own as a thoughtful composition as if from a cinematic art house film or high-end commercial/editorial shoot. My color grading is immediately identifiable and unique - developed through years of studying color theory - uncommon today in a sea of 'presets' that other photographers purchase on the internet for they have no knowledge of how to build their own. My compositions are often quirky, surprising, different. I always attempt to show a point of view that's uncommon and fascinating to the viewer.

Awarded Best of Zola
Fitz Carlile is a master of light, and can make virtually any setting look like the most romantic place in the world. He immediately puts you at ease. We had to scrap our original wedding plans due to COVID-19, but Fitz remained a willing and enthusiastic participant through it all. Our recommendation to couples trying to plan weddings in this crazy time we've all found ourselves in? Go small. Don't cancel. And your photographer should be your number 1 priority. Photographs are the only concrete thing you'll own to remember your special day, and you will not be disappointed with Fitz. He's a true storyteller and his photos are magic.

Tida Svy Photography

Ayyy it’s ya girl Tida (like pita)! I’m not just another photographer – I’m your hype girl, your ally, your eyes and your ears on your wedding day. I’ll be there freaking out shouting “YASSS OMG HOT FIRE ALERT” hyping you up during portraits because holy-shit you look amazing AF! I’ll be dancing circles around your guests while I shove my camera in their faces, fixing your hair when the wind gets too cray, and confidently (and loudly) directing your family portrait time. I’m a tiny ball of giant energy and gurl, it shows on your wedding day – TRUST.

Tida shot our engagement and our Palm Springs wedding at Korakia Pensione! I absolutely adore her! My husband and I were somewhat nervous about the process and worried that it would be awkward...it proved to be anything but. Tida put us both at ease and had us laughing and relaxed out of the gate. So many people commented on how genuinely happy we looked in our photos and honestly it had a lot to do with Tida making us laugh with each other. The photos turned out beautifully, her aesthetic is very natural, never staged, and I really appreciate how much care she put into all the editing. Everyone comments on how great our photos are. She really loves what she does. I’d hire her again in a heartbeat!

Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000

My name is Jonathan Moore. I am a Los Angeles based wedding photographer and available worldwide. I'll get right to it: The very last thing I want is for you to think of your experience with me as a "photoshoot." I think that posed "prom" photos are totally lame and reflect absolutely nothing unique about you or your partner. After all, you are not actors pretending to be "in love," so why should your images reflect that? At the core, your images should ultimately remind you of why you fell in love in the first place. This is what we're celebrating!

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Jonathan was awesome! Communication was easy and we met with him and did a tour of the venue to align on exactly what we wanted. He was super helpful on the day but didn’t get in the way at all! The photos were absolutely amazing, we seriously couldn’t be happier with the output. He really captured who we are and how we feel About each other without any awkward posing which I personally hate lol. Thanks so much!!!

Muses By Macy
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Los Angeles, CA

My name is Macy, a nomadic creative. I’ve been a photographer for over 10 years now, and vividly remember getting my first job at 15 (at Sonic of all places, IYKYK) to save up for my first camera - and I’m so thankful I did! I have a deep passion for capturing moments, treating the world & people within it as the greatest muses of all. I am a photographer, sure, but more than that, I’m a storyteller. I consume myself with the intimacy of a single moment, and love that an accumulation of them got you here. Call it a documentary style approach, or some other category to fit into - your story is its own, and I want to be a part of telling it.

Muses By Macy was the most amazing and perfect photographer for our wedding day. From our very first interaction, she communicated effortlessly, warmly, and reassuringly - she immediately put us at ease. The quality of her work was truly incredible, with a polished and stunning aesthetic that felt both timeless and editorial. They captured our special day with such care, making everything feel so effortless and ensuring we felt absolutely beautiful. The energy and vision she brought to our wedding pictures was exactly what we were going for - a cool, vintage style that we just loved. We are so happy with the incredible photos that will help us relive and remember that special day with our friends and family. Macy is the best! We cannot recommend her enough!!!

I’m Daniel, a wedding photographer with 10+ years of experience capturing stories as they naturally unfold. My work blends a documentary approach with a refined, artistic eye, focused on real moments, honest emotion, and the in-between details that make your day uniquely yours. I believe the most meaningful memories aren’t staged, they’re felt. My goal is to create images that feel timeless, natural, and true to who you are.

We couldn’t be happier with our wedding video. From start to finish, Daniel absolutely nailed it. Our highlight film blew past our expectations and truly felt like us. Every moment, every emotion, every detail was captured in a way that felt authentic and intentional. He didn’t just document the day. He told our story. Getting married in East LA meant a lot to us, and he represented it beautifully. We’re beyond grateful to have these memories forever and couldn’t recommend him more

Jade Elora Photography
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,800

I'm a photographer specializing in engagements, weddings, and boudoir. My style is colorful, bold, fun, and genuine. I'm great at capturing emotion in my photos, but my true super power is making everyone feel natural and at ease in front of the camera. Photographing people is my passion, so I work endlessly to create a positive, inclusive, effortless experience for my clients.

I had the pleasure of working with Jade on many shoots and weddings including my own! She is perceptive and professional while still being her relaxed self. She also did my most recent brand photoshoot and the photos are so incredibly vibrant and personal. She really knows how to make you stand out. I can't wait to work with her again!

Sienna Plus Josh

Los Angeles, CA
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,800

We are Sienna plus Josh, adventure elopement photographers [who also eloped!] in 2011 and we have been shooting weddings and adventuring ever since. We are here to help you navigate the path of forging your OWN path. Going the adventure elopement route is intimate, authentic, and empowering...with a day that is truly reflective of your relationship and defines the two of you! One of the best things about eloping is that you get to throw away the rule book and write your own. Whether that is spending your wedding day on a mountaintop in Oregon, among the waterfalls in Iceland, or the warm desert of California.

Sienna and Josh were so helpful with our elopement. They went above and beyond to make the event as fun and easy going as possible. Their suggestions for locations and floral arrangements were perfect! They really helped our elopement plans take shape and made us feel comfortable so we could each our special day to the fullest! They took the time to get to know us and take unique photos that captured the day perfectly. We were very happy with the final result and impressed with the amount of dedication and kindness that they showed to us.
