Will you edit all of our pictures?

Definitely! I have over 20 years of professional photo editing experience, which helps significantly speed up my processing time. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I tune each image with a film-like look, customizing what will look best for each wedding based on a variety of factors. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal, light skin softening and teeth whitening at no additional charge.

Do you also offer video services?

Yes! I offer a variety of options for both edited cinematic video and content creation reels.

Question 3

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Accepted Answer

Sneak peeks are usually ready within 24 hours. Posed guest photos and select couple's portraits can also be air-dropped on site. My editing workflow is pretty dialed in, so the rest of your photos are usually ready within 2–6 weeks (most often around the two-week mark!). I love the editing process, so I’m typically diving in the very next day. Film development and scanning usually take a bit longer (about 4 weeks for film), and video editing can take 4–6 weeks.

How many pictures will we get?

The number of finished photos varies by the event and the number of hours included. Each package has an average listed.

Do you have insurance?

I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.

Question 6

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Accepted Answer

I have worked with a 2nd shooter and assistant in the past, and usually found it unnecessary. Over the years, I've found that it's actually so much easier for me to capture everything myself instead of relying on anyone else and potentially ending up with a bunch of redundant/unusable photos. Plus, I've almost been tripped by other photographers in the past and enjoy maintaining my personal space. :)

What are the film images?

I have a few different vintage cameras and vintage style cameras that provide a unique look that only film can provide. Once the film is developed, I either scan it myself or have it scanned so those images can be added to your digital download gallery with the rest of your photos. From there, you are welcome to order prints directly from the online gallery or from any other location of your choice. I also have a selection of Polaroid and Polaroid-style instant cameras as well if you would prefer that style for your bonus images!

What are the options for video?

A three minute video highlight reel is automatically included for clients who book within the fast-booking time period. This is usually shot vertically in content creation style and edited to include the best moments of the day for easy social media sharing. The other video option is longer format videos, edited to 20-30 minutes long. These can be shot in standard video format or with my digital Super 8 style camera, which provides a retro feel without any of the hassle or expense of film. How do we proceed to booking?

I usually recommend booking a phone consultation first but if the website answered all of your questions, feel free to send me an email so I can send you over the booking form! Once that is filled out with the information needed to put together your contract, I'll email over the contract and retainer invoice. I offer a variety of options for the payment plan, with the retainer being either 25% or 50% of the package price. Once all of that is completed, I'll send over your planning questionnaire, etc.

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In all of my years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.

Question 11

How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Accepted Answer

Typically, couples book me at least 3-6 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
