I'll guide you towards the dreamiest light and offer unobtrusive direction that lends to natural movements and sincere emotion. I also slow things down and help re-center everyone, creating space for beautiful moments to unfold, like mom fluffing your veil, dad's expression when he sees you all dressed up, and fleeting looks between you and your partner.

I'm a Los Angeles based wedding photographer who loves to laugh, create art, play board games, and learn about visualization and the power of one's own mind & personal energy. I believe the energy one brings to a space is just as important as anything else. My goal on your wedding day is to make sure you feel beautiful, celebrated, and seen.

    Perfect From Engagement to Wedding

    We cannot recommend Elena/Elyana enough. We used her for both our engagement photos and our wedding, and we are so incredibly glad we did. We just received our full wedding gallery, and the photos absolutely did not disappoint. From the beginning, she understood the vision I had for the day and brought it to life even better than I imagined. We had a very specific vibe for our wedding — Pasadena City Hall for the ceremony and then a backyard reception in South Pasadena with a bougie lounge feel, blacks, silvers, candlelight, and lots of fun personal details. She captured all of it so beautifully. What I loved most is that the photos feel like us. She captured the big, beautiful moments, but also all of the fun, candid, slightly chaotic, perfectly “our people” parts of the day. The laughter, the energy, the dance floor, the little reactions, the details — everything came through in a way that lets us relive the day all over again. She also fully embraced the more creative photo ideas I had, including the crazy box photos I wanted, and absolutely nailed them. Those were something I had been so excited about, and seeing them actually come to life was amazing. Having worked with her for our engagement photos first, we already knew we were in great hands by the time the wedding day arrived. That made the whole process feel easy and comfortable, and it really shows in the final photos. Wedding photos are such a huge part of remembering the day, and Elena/Elyana gave us a gallery that feels emotional, fun, artistic, and completely personal to us. We are so grateful we had her as our photographer and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who can capture not just how your wedding looked, but how it felt.

    A 1000 stars!

    I cannot recommend Elyana enough! I wanted dreamy photos that were candid-esque so I got really excited when I came across her website. I honestly had no idea what to expect when working with a professional photographer but her service was exceptional. She's super friendly, easy-going, efficient, and communicative. Everything went unbelievably smoothly. We had Elyana for 2 hours during our elopement and she made it so fun and easy to be in front of a camera. She provided a lot of much-needed direction and our session went by so quickly and smoothly. She even helped grab my veil when I forgot it in my suite! I'm not photogenic so I was nervous about looking like a total derp after many wonderful vendors had put so much work into my hair, makeup, dress, and florals... But her artistic sense and prompting really made for some amazing pictures. She works fast! Sneak peeks and full gallery were received well before their promise dates. Granted, it probably helped that we only had a 2 hour elopement session, but the speedy turnaround time is super appreciated nonetheless. The one struggle I have from working with her is trying to pick which beautiful images will be displayed in our home. Thank you so much for these photos that we will cherish forever!

    The Best Wedding Photographer EVER!

    Elyana is so easy going and fun. She will be a calming presence on your big day, but will also know when to gently take control to keep the schedule going. She knows how to capture images filled with beautiful light and a lot of emotions. When I look back at my wedding images, they really feel like us. They don't look forced or overly posed. I feel like they really capture our spirits, so to speak. This kind of photography doesn't just require technical skills, but that's when the true artistry kicks in, and this is what sets Elyana apart. We'd choose her again any day!

I majored in both photography and business at Loyola Marymount University. I spent hours upon hours in the darkroom, completely entranced by the process...and I've been photographing since!
I've had the privilege of documenting over 250 weddings since I started in 2013.
After each wedding, I edit every single image, which requires a lot of time. In order to provide the highest quality work with a unique client experience, I do limit the number of weddings I document to 15 per year. This does not include shorter, weekday elopements.
Human connection. And not just between the couple, but everywhere it can be found. Like the couple with their parents or best friends. I love that weddings bring people together. I think when the couple is focused on what's most important (getting to celebrate their love and being present with their nearest and dearest), weddings are reminders of why human beings are so interesting and beautiful.
