Lavender Lux Photography

I’m the type of gal who sings at the top of her lungs like nobody is listening. I love cheesy shows on the CW, Disneyland, and bows, dresses and the color pink are my jam! If I weren’t a human, I’d love to be one of those things - is that a strange thing to say? Most of my closet is pink, most of my accessories are bows and you’ll almost always find me in a dress. While I am the epitome of a girly girl, I also enjoy the freshness of being in the mountains, campfires and snowboarding with my hubby. My love of photography began in elementary school - I was always the “gal with the camera."

My calling for photography as a career began when my husband and I visited The California Museum of Photography. It was that day, in an instant that I realized it was time to turn my long-time hobby and passion into my future. I love photography because it always presents a new & exciting day, allows me to meet new people & hear their story, and be outside, three things I am absolutely passionate about. I’d describe my photography style as candid, happy and bright. At weddings and events, I tend to flow with the day, anticipate what will happen next and capture that. These usually end up being my favorite photos!
