“Working with Villa was one of the best choices we made as part of wedding planning. During the initial planning, she was responsive, thoughtful, and considerate of our vision. She understands that most people have never planned a wedding before helped us not only plan photos, but reorganize our reception to flow better. My husband and I are very photo shy, enough so that we debated on whether or not to even hire a photographer for the wedding. Villa was so great at directing interesting, natural poses that didn't feel forced or awkward in the moment. We opt-ed not to do an engagement shoot, but if we had to do it all over again, we absolutely would with Villa. During day of, Villa was extremely detailed and organized. She arrived early to the venue to capture photos and understand the space overall. She was very good about taking photos in a way that didn't interrupt the flow of events while navigating a fairly large and irregularly shaped venue. We received a great blend of editorial and photo-journalistic images that really captured the day beautifully. She has a great eye for wide shots, close up details, and artistic framing. Our wedding day started on a sunny day at noon and ended in the evening. Villa shot great photos throughout all the lighting changes during the day including many flash photography and low light shots after the sun had set. We had a great experience sharing our wedding day with Villa and think you would too!”

“Lindsay was the absolute best to work with. No one better! We did an engagement and wedding shoot with her. I consider myself to not be the most photogenic person, and find photos taken of me generally look unnatural, staged, or silly. Lindsay found a way to make us both feel comfortable and ourselves and the results were photos we absolutely cherish. She’s obviously seasoned in what she does and helped us figure out how to organize the time for the more formal shots in addition to the candids. She did great scouting of both locations to make sure the shots she took were well framed, interesting, had good lighting, and also reflected us as a couple. I’m a picky architect and appreciated how she knew intuitively how to bring architectural detail and composition into the photos. “We instantly clicked with Aimee, right from our first meeting with her. It was important to us that we liked our vendors as people, not just professionals, and we got that and more with Aimee! Since we hired Aimee before we hired our coordinator, her advice was invaluable to our timeline and aesthetics. She answered countless questions and coordinated seamlessly with us and our other vendors. When the day of the wedding came, she was on time, kept to the schedule, and was just fun to be around. Many of the members of our wedding party told us how much they liked Aimee and her assistant. During the actual party, they blended in so much that I honestly forgot they were there! She really went the extra mile for us. After the wedding, she continued to answer questions for us as we designed and ordered our album. She captured exactly the look we were going for.
