“My husband and I used Direct Entertainment for our DJ and videographer for our wedding and we could not be more pleased!! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

The “dancing on the clouds” feature was such a magical touch for our night sky themed wedding—it made our first dance feel truly unforgettable. We also booked the "retro" photo booth which was a huge hit! Our guests were using it all night long with help from the lovely Shelby. You absolutely NEED this photo booth at your wedding—it’s such a fun experience and an amazing keepsake! We had the best time looking through all the photos afterward. A special shout-out to District Harmony for performing during our ceremony and cocktail hour- they were fantastic! Walking down the aisle to their rendition of “Merry-Go-Round of Life” was a dream come true. Everyone commented on how great they sounded. They were the perfect addition to our day!”

“Jason was great throughout the whole process! He was great at communicating and making sure he had all of the songs that we wanted (and didn’t) throughout the night. He also did a great job at adjusting the songs played based off of what our guests responded well to so people were on the dance floor all the time which I loved!! He collected a bunch of photos from us and displayed them on a screen that’s built into his DJ booth (I don’t know what it’s called) and many guests came up to us to specifically tell us that they loved seeing our pictures of us and our relationship as well as pics of us growing up. It’s something I don’t even think of doing, but Jason offered and I’m so glad he did! He also set up a photo booth that was very popular. He was great at making sure that things that I needed were just taken care of and went out of his way to coordinate with my wedding planner and kept me in the loop which I appreciated. We had a ton of kids at our wedding and he did a great job at playing clean (and popular) music that wasn’t raunchy. If I have any other events I’ll be sure to book Jason and I’d highly recommend him to any of my friends and family!”
