Weddings in the Barn at Owl & Olive was the perfect venue for our rustic, barn-themed wedding. The communication with the staff was not the fastest, but they were helpful and responsive throughout the planning process. The quality of their work and the value they provided was amazing - the venue was beautiful with a lovely rustic aesthetic, and they had the chairs and tables staged on the day of the wedding, which made the process much easier. However, one downside was that we didn't get the day before the wedding to decorate, so we had to rush to get everything set up on the day of. Overall, we were thrilled with Weddings in the Barn at Owl & Olive and would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a stunning, rustic wedding venue.

The baby shower was in the fall, there were portable heaters in case you got cold, plenty of room for the guests. The fall foliage was stunning. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding. The setting is deeply rooted in nature — lush, serene, and completely immersive — and we were incredibly lucky to have the most perfect weather on our day, which made everything feel even more magical. The views were absolutely stunning, the kind of scenery that takes your breath away and makes the day feel truly special. The setting itself was unlike anything we'd seen when venue hunting, giving our wedding a unique feel that our guests are still talking about. There was plenty of space for everyone to move around comfortably, which kept the whole day relaxed and easy. The owners were also a pleasure to work with. We did a fully DIY wedding, and Mallory was wonderful throughout the planning process — always available to answer questions and offer thoughtful input that helped make sure everything came together the way we envisioned. On the day itself, Dana was incredibly helpful whenever we needed anything, which let us stay present and actually enjoy our wedding without stress. Having that kind of guidance and support made such a difference, especially for a DIY setup. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish, and the venue photographed beautifully — our photos turned out beyond what we imagined. The natural surroundings gave every shot a gorgeous, organic backdrop that no studio could replicate. It was exactly the vision we had in mind, and we would recommend it without hesitation to any couple looking for a memorable, one-of-a-kind setting for their big day.

Plus, we were thrilled that the resort is pet-friendly—it meant we could include our dog in our special day, which made it even more memorable. The ceremony by the water was absolutely stunning, and the natural beauty of the resort added such a special touch to everything. It was exactly the kind of relaxed and beautiful celebration we had hoped for. If you’re looking for a wedding venue that offers gorgeous scenery, cozy accommodations, and a welcoming atmosphere (for both people and pets!), I can’t recommend Mike's Beach Resort enough. It’s a place we’ll always cherish!

We can’t say enough good things about having our wedding at Orting Manor. My (now) husband and I went to tour just ONE venue and absolutely fell in love with the charm of Orting Manor. Not only were we given the option to rent the entire property, but they also had decor available to use for our big day. We felt so supported and were able to ask questions, bounce ideas off, and were given ample information leading up to the day. It’s not often you find a wedding venue that can truly do it all. In addition, Tiphany (venue manager) was a delight to work with from the first day - and we immediately knew we wanted to work with her! Breanna was our day of venue host and she was perfection and helped make the day run smooth! Our guests had the best time, and couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the venue was. It is intimate but also enough space to hold more than enough people. Orting Manor will forever hold such a place in our heart and we can’t recommend it enough.

The Manor House is a beautiful venue that all of our guests enjoyed greatly. The food was delicious and, despite some very minor hiccups around dietary miscommunications, everything on the day of our wedding flowed very smoothly. In the planning stage, there were minor lapses in communication that made planning our wedding from a distance more difficult, but overall we found the staff to be pleasant, the venue to be gorgeous, and our wedding went off without a hitch.

We can not recommend Winter View Lodge highly enough! It is the PERFECT venue for an outdoor wedding! The views of Mt. Rainier are stunning, the owners are helpful and kind, the reception tent is excellent and spacious (we had about 60 guests and could have easily fit many more), and you can reserve the venue for the weekend (we did not come across other venues with this option at a similar price point). We rented the venue for the weekend, which eliminated a lot of stress, since we could host the rehearsal dinner Friday night and get most of the set up completed. We stayed at the lodge along with some of our wedding party Friday night and Saturday night, so we didn't have to rush to clean up on Saturday evening. We enjoyed not having to break down until Sunday morning, so we maximized time with our guests. Pat and Karla with Winter View Lodge were always prompt to respond to questions, helped keep the day go smoothly (e.g. taking out trash), and ensured our vision for the set up was executed. Winter View Lodge is a gem of a wedding venue. There is nothing we would have changed about the venue. Our dream wedding weekend came true thanks in large part to Winter View Lodge.

My partner and I didn’t visit many venues, but after visiting WithinSodo, we kept envisioning our wedding taking place in it, and we are so happy we went with it. The most important thing for us at our wedding was to keep people dancing, and this was the perfect venue for that. The space was flexible and fun, and 120 guests felt full, but definitively not overcrowded. We had our ceremony & cocktail hour on the roof, food and a live band in the main room, and an on-site after-party back on the roof. This helped break-up the event and keep things fresh, without guests having to drive between locations; a guest said it was like “3 parties in one”, which would be hard to replicate at another venue. Going back on the “Monkey Loft” roof and enjoying the summer breeze and the city lights was a great way to end our wedding, and a time where we were able to have pure fun after a hectic day. Many of our friends commented that it was such a cool and fun venue!!! Kate was so nice and kind, and generous with her time. We were able to book venue access multiple times prior to the event, to walk-through with vendors, and Kate helped us there each time. She also made us so hyped for our event and is such a lovely person, we felt like we were in great hands. Some hopefully helpful notes: We were very happy to have hired a lighting vendor (Crimzon Haze), which helped the main floor feel lively. We went with a mobile pizza oven buffet (Veraci) instead of catering, and guests loved it, while also simplifying some of our catering needs. Setting up the bar and the desserts in the mirror room added fun and flair. The venue does not have an elevator to the rooftop, which doesn’t make it accessible to guests with limited mobility. We mostly took care of our own sound needs. If you don’t hire sound professionals, I would recommend doing a sound-check before the event to make sure everything is working as expected. Overall, we were super happy with our experience, and WithinSodo was a great venue with great staff for a flexible, “build-it-yourself” wedding. They have a TON of experienced vendor recommendations and plenty of tips and support along the way.

The spaces at Metropolist are fully customizable, making Metropolist an ideal location for a Seattle wedding, celebration, or company event. Metropolist can evoke the dramatic effect of an urban industrial warehouse with 14-foot walls and vaulted 25-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, exposed piping overhead, warm and bright wood floors.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Promotes a party atmosphere
  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away

Venue considerations

  • Additional event staff required
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • Best for events with big guest lists
We had our wedding at the Metropolist almost a week ago, and we had the most amazing time! When we had our initial tour a little over a year ago, Andi was responsive and made us feel comfortable with the options we had, and quickly shared inspiration and recommended vendors. From this initial meeting, we knew we wanted to book this venue space. Over the course of planning, she continued to remain responsive to any questions we had. Closer to the wedding, we found out our contact changed and it took some time to get a consistent contact person. Though we were initially worried that this would impact our event, everyone we had communicated with was just as responsive and helpful in our planning. In the end, we know that we made the right choice. The space was perfect for our wedding, as well was the equipment that we were able to utilize (tables, chairs, iron easel, uplights) helped complete our vision. Would definitely recommend Metropolist and their staff!

My husband and I just got married here this past weekend (07.18.2026) and had the best experience working with Denise and Kevin at Courter Country Farm. From our first meeting to the wedding day, Denise and Kevin went above and beyond in every capacity. They were so personable and generous and we felt so cared for during the entire process. We chose their Gold Rose Weekend Package which allowed us to use the farm for the entire weekend. Denise and Kevin did all the setup and cleanup, the florals (which Denise planted and arranged and were absolutely stunning) and bartending for both the rehearsal and the wedding, helped with the entire planning process the year before, and Denise served as our day of coordinator on the wedding day. Their attention to detail, communication, and how they helped us bring our vision of our wedding to life was beyond exceptional. Here are a just a few examples of this. They knew there would be kids at our wedding so Denise planned a scavenger hunt complete with a prize box and created a coloring page featuring us as bride and groom for them to color. They returned all of the men’s rental suits so we didn’t have to the day after our wedding. They prepared a breakfast spread and lunch for our entire wedding party. We could say so much more. So many of our guests told us that it was one of the most beautiful wedding experiences they’d ever attended and this was in large part due to everything Denise and Kevin put into our day. If you’re looking for a place to host any special event in a beautiful outdoor location with the most genuine and personable of hosts, look no further. Thank you again, Denise and Kevin at Courter Country Farms. We will be back!
