About this venue

Say your I Do's with a breathtaking view! Winter View Lodge sits on 20-acres in rural Eatonville, Wash. about 45 minutes south of Tacoma. The view from the lodge features the majestic Mt. Rainier, the valley below, and endless groves of evergreen trees. Our rentals can span Friday evenings to early Sunday afternoons to provide you plenty of time for your wedding weekend. Start with your rehearsal dinner Friday night and wrap up with a clean up party Sunday morning. The wedding party can stay overnight at the lodge, too. Or stick with a Saturday-only rental for 12 hours. Our pricing is all-inclusive of what we have to offer. You'll get to choose your own vendors (catering, DJs, etc), too! Bridal Suite

Get the bridal crew wedding-ready in a private room with private bathroom.

The bridal suite is a private space with vanities/mirror for at least three ladies. There is a private bathroom with vanity and mirror as well. This room is also divided into a sleeping room that would be ideal for the bride to stay in the night before the wedding and the bride and groom to share on their wedding night. Great venue
Winter View Lodge was the perfect choice for our wedding day. From our first conversation, the team was responsive and kind, making every planning question feel simple to answer. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs and stayed attentive to every detail leading up to the event. The space itself is stunning, and the value we got for what we paid was hard to beat. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how well everything ran. We'd recommend Winter View Lodge to any couple looking for a venue that truly cares about making their day special.

The PERFECT Outdoor Wedding Venue
We can not recommend Winter View Lodge highly enough! It is the PERFECT venue for an outdoor wedding! The views of Mt. Rainier are stunning, the owners are helpful and kind, the reception tent is excellent and spacious (we had about 60 guests and could have easily fit many more), and you can reserve the venue for the weekend (we did not come across other venues with this option at a similar price point). We rented the venue for the weekend, which eliminated a lot of stress, since we could host the rehearsal dinner Friday night and get most of the set up completed. We stayed at the lodge along with some of our wedding party Friday night and Saturday night, so we didn't have to rush to clean up on Saturday evening. We enjoyed not having to break down until Sunday morning, so we maximized time with our guests. Pat and Karla with Winter View Lodge were always prompt to respond to questions, helped keep the day go smoothly (e.g. taking out trash), and ensured our vision for the set up was executed. Winter View Lodge is a gem of a wedding venue. There is nothing we would have changed about the venue. Our dream wedding weekend came true thanks in large part to Winter View Lodge.

Couldn’t have been a more perfect day!
The team at Winter View Lodge provided excellent service and communication throughout our wedding planning process. They were extremely responsive to all of our questions and requests, making the entire experience seamless. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful - a large, open space that allowed us to customize the setup exactly how we envisioned. The staff handled the setup and takedown of all tables, chairs, and our ceremony arbor, and were available on the day of our wedding to accommodate any last-minute changes. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our special day.

Perfect Venue for Us!
Our experience with Winter View Lodge was nothing short of exceptional. Their communication was prompt, friendly and heartfelt - they clearly cared about making our day special. The grounds are breathtaking, and we were able to truly bring our vision to life with their support. The overnight spaces provided everything we needed for our wedding weekend, and the staff was always ready to jump in and help however they could. Our vendors had no issues working with the Winter View team, which made the entire planning process seamless. We are so grateful to have celebrated our special day at this wonderful venue.

Outstanding venue and owner
We had an excellent experience working with Winter View Lodge as the DJ company for a mutual clients wedding. Their communication style was easy, flexible, and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. The venue itself is clean, scenic, and absolutely beautiful - the perfect backdrop for any wedding. Pat and his staff are awesome to work with. Yes, but you must provide additional insurance coverage.

Yes, we have self-parking for about 70 vehicles. For large weddings, we will provide parking attendant from the start of guests arrival to the start of your ceremony. There are also five camper/rv spaces available for overnight dry camping. This is great if you have a guest or two coming from far away or a member or two of the wedding party stays on site.

Most outdoor spaces are reachable by gravel and grass pathways and are relatively flat with some slight incline/decline in some areas.

We are happy to provide the lodge for the weekend to allow ease of hosting a rehearsal dinner, set up, ceremony, reception, and clean up without tight time restrictions. Your rental begins at 4 p.m. Friday evening and ends at 1 p.m. Sunday afternoon. Reception noise must end at 10 p.m. each night. We also book Saturday only rentals for a 12 hour block.

Yes, you must provide insurance with the venue named as additional insured. Levels can be discussed at time of booking.

A 60' x 40' covered reception space is available for all events with additional 10’ x 20’ pop up tents and three propane heaters.
