The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “When my husband and I started our wedding planning journey, we wanted to find a DJ that would be able to play music form both my culture (Haitian) and my husbands (Puerto Rican). During my search, his business popped up on IG. I went through his IG profile and knew he was the one I wanted. I sent his profile to my husband and he sold. What also sold us was all the extra services he had! Everything all in one place. In all I booked the sparklers, smoke machine, 360 Photo Booth, an Emcee, and gobo lights. My first dance, OMG. Guests are sending me videos they took. Being in the experience was one thing. Watching the videos, I couldn’t stop crying at how beautiful it turned out. The smoke machine and sparklers just brought everything together. Everyone RAVED about the 360 booth. And the MUSIC. We didnt stop moving all night. I got so many phone calls that week about how great the music was, how sore people were from dancing all night lol. We had a diverse group of people and he was able to reach everyone. DJ Lennox was responsive in the months leading up to the wedding and provided a well-thought-out sheet to fill out for music preferences, special requests, etc. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early, set up quickly, and was professional throughout. The music selection was perfect - he really knew how to read the room and kept everyone on the dance floor all night! One of the highlights was the way DJ Lennox handled our ceremony. “Love & Light Entertainment was the perfect DJ choice for our wedding. From the beginning, Josh and Lynn were incredibly organized, responsive, and attentive to all the details. They worked closely with our wedding coordinator to ensure the music and timing for the night ran seamlessly. Josh was especially flexible and collaborative, working with us to create a custom dinner playlist where each table was called up to the buffet line by a song from the album on their table. This personal touch was a huge hit with our guests. We had a smoke machine for our first dance that was having trouble, Josh fixed it enough to use it for some of the dancing throughout the night. We had put some songs on the dancing section of the portal that is set up for each couple (which is amazing) those songs were not played during the reception. There was a requests page and we probably should have put the songs we really wanted there, it is more direct than putting it on the dancing section, something for others to keep in mind. Josh also played a groomsmen and bridesmaids song. The groomsmen’s song was perfect for them, if I had known, I probably would have changed the bridesmaids choice. We loved the music that was picked and everyone continues to tell us how they had not seen a wedding where the dance floor was full the whole time. We also continue to get positive comments on how great the music choices were. Everyone loved our phone audio guest book. Josh let us use any phone we wanted as long as it had the cables he needed which is great when wanting to have a phone that matches your theme. Love & Light has a variety of services and packages to pick and choose from to meet anyone’s needs. Overall, Love & Light provided professional, high-quality service that exceeded our expectations and helped make our wedding day truly special.”
