I got involved with the University radio station (90.1 FM), started doing live events, and really loved showing off my rare music finds. Nothing beats the feeling of rocking a live crowd for track after track, especially after the long pause in events! DJing is all I do for "work", and I love it! Each wedding or event I play is full of different people and different ages from all over the world, and they all have differing tastes in music- blending so many different genres and styles of music is such a fun challenge!

“DJ Roman Candles was excellent! He pulled off a set that was beyond our wildest dreams. We had a brief phone meeting a week before the wedding about how we wanted the vibe to be and he pulled it off perfectly. Us and our guests were blown away by his performance. After the wedding, all of our guests were raving how awesome he was! He blended all of our requested genres. The transitions between genres and between songs were spot on! He had all of our guests up and dancing. Our wedding coordinator said he was very easy to work and communicate with. He was very organized and had all the equipment we needed. He also took care of the emcee duties and did an awesome job! He had an app we could use to upload all of our song requests. We found it very useful for organizing the songs we wanted played at each part of the night. He totally killed it and we could not imagine anyone doing better. 10/10. We can’t stop watching videos of how fun the night went! Totally recommend DJ Roman Candles for your wedding or any other events!!!”

We had SUCH a blast at our wedding and heard after the fact from many people what a blast they had and how they couldn't ever leave the dance floor when constant hits were playing. Mac was so easy to work with and personable, and his charisma shined on our wedding day without ever taking away from anything. He was great at keeping up the energy. As the bride, I danced practically the entire time. He also did an excellent job with the sound set up for our ceremony. “I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”

“If we could give The Hook Club more stars, we would! Let me get my one gripe out of the way at the top here: I’m pretty sure the only reason my now husband agreed to a wedding celebration was to hire The Hook Club after seeing them at a friend’s wedding before we met. It was the only part of the wedding planning process he felt truly passionate about from the jump – we knew we wanted them before we even had a venue or date and went so far as to clear our potential dates with them before booking anything else. Fast forward, and Dan made the band planning process so supported and seamless that my husband’s one job went off without a hitch. The problem? Despite me planning every other single little detail of our three-day wedding weekend, the first thing that every single guest complimented (and still raves above, 1 month later) was THE BAND! But in truth, we wouldn’t have it any other way. We are absolutely ecstatic with our choice of hiring The Hook Club for our wedding. We did acoustic guitars for the ceremony, sax and tracks for cocktail and band and DJ for reception. THC was outstanding to work with from the jump. Dan is a wealth of knowledge and organization, and brings a calm, cool, collected vibe through every step of the planning process. Not to mention, he’s a great musician who can come discuss timeline with you while also playing the base day of :D. The process THC uses to help plan is smooth and clear. The communication was great throughout – we knew what to expect from the first planning call all the way up to some adhoc timeline changes day of. The band has an extensive repertoire and was able to take in our song, vibe, and timeline requests while also using their extensive experience to guide us along the way. The music carried the vibe throughout the day – from guitars at the ceremony to sax and tracks leading through cocktail hour and a mix of dance sets, slow dances, and expert MC’ing on the dance floor, we couldn’t get enough. So much so, that we extended the end time of the event just to have more fun on the dance floor with THC! Everyone was so nice, supportive, energetic and just brought their outstandingly talented A game and the absolute best vibe. The band got out on the dance floor with us, led us in call and response and a little choreographed proud Mary moment. Our first dance song is not a very common song, not only did THC learn it for us, but they provided us a track of their composition beforehand so we could practice the dance. You’ll see in the pictures my face when I first heard them play it – completely awestruck! That was pretty much my inner face the entire rest of the night in their presence. I have so many fond memories of engaging with THC throughout our wedding. If I could do it again, I’d hire THC without a second thought.”

I was lucky enough to experience JukeBox firsthand at my brother-in-law’s wedding, and I am not exaggerating when I say the band was THE highlight of the night. As a guest, my experience with them was a 10000/10. The range and variety of music, the talent of every single member, and the sheer level of performance brought so much fun and energy to the night. It truly felt like a private concert! Guests were crowding the front of the stage, every age group was dancing, and I genuinely did not want to leave the dance floor. After that night, I knew my husband and I had to have them at our wedding. When it came time to book entertainment, we didn’t even consider anyone else. David patiently worked through my many emails, helped guide me through the decision, and I never once had to second-guess that it would all come together smoothly. On the wedding day, it was seamless. They are a well oiled machine and they operate so flawlessly and are truly such a driving force to the party!! During the planning process, David was always responsive and attentive, and everything felt completely tailored to us. He even professionally cut and edited our first dance and father-daughter dance songs, and they turned out perfectly. Our dance floor was packed all night long & guests are still talking about how amazing the band was just like they still talk about them from my brother-in-law’s wedding. We cannot recommend JukeBox highly enough. They made our wedding reception unforgettable and truly brought our dream celebration to life. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!!!”

“Diamond Music Management absolutely made our wedding day unforgettable. From start to finish, they were responsive to every request and so accommodating—they even learned a brand new song just for us! The Grooveline showed up with contagious energy, totally engaged with our guests, and kept everyone dancing all night long. Their set-list was incredible and they nailed every single song. One of the our favorite details was the singers outfit changes throughout the night and the final solo dance with just the two of us.
