Yanicke Lim Sang, from the island of Jamaica, of Chinese, African, and East Indian heritage has called Hawaii home for 17 years. She founded Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii in 2010, inspired by her sons: Zen and Jude. With extensive experience, including six years apprenticeship under notable coordinators, coordinating concerts for emerging talent for a Miami Beach record label. “Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii, LLC is hands down the reason why we had THE BEST DAY OF OUR LIVES! Yanicke, is the owner of this company and she is hands down the best coordinator! My husband and I hired her to take care of all the stress as we are in California and she is in Honolulu. We booked her and her team to do full coordination for our wedding in Kaneohe, Hawaii. It was one the best decisions we have ever made. We were married at the Paliku Garden at Kualoa Ranch in Kaneohe, Hawaii on June 14, 2023. Almost three years since our wedding and I still cannot believe our dream wedding came to life. I am still on cloud 9 of how beautiful everything was and how smooth everything went. From the first time we spoke with Yanicke, we could tell she was someone who would get it done. I had called Kualoa Ranch to make sure I was able to book her because per the rule of booking Kualoa Ranch, you need a minimum of "day of coordinator". It pleased me to know that she had worked events on the ranch so she did not have to go through an interview process with them. What we loved the most about her is that she actively listened to our wants and our vision for our wedding. She always reassured us that she would work with our budget and not to worry. We would often text, do zoom meetings, and was always available to us. Yanicke made sure to be the contact person for every vendor and made things so easy for us. She gave us vendor options and I appreciated that because I still felt in charge of deciding who to book. The vendors she suggested were so awesome! Every vendor went above and beyond and I am so glad Yanicke had these connections. Our wedding looked amazing and all our guests loved everything about it. There were no issues with any. On the day of the rehearsal, Yanicke went over the setup and how everything was going to play out on the day of the wedding. On the wedding day, Yanicke came to our hotel to check on us and make sure we were up and ready to get the day started. I personally loved that about her because she was very attentive to us. When we arrived at the venue, everything was set to go. It looked so beautiful and dreamy, a dream come true. It looked so elegant and classy. I felt like I was in a dream that whole day because of how surreal it felt. Our wedding should have been featured in a magazine! Our wedding was over the top, in a great way, more than what we had expected. The vendors had surpassed our expectations. From the beginning of the wedding to the end, she was running the event smoothly. I hate planning and having her make sure we were on schedule was so great. The reception included a great buffet, beautiful floral arrangements, an awesome Polynesian performance (fire dancers, hula, the haka dance), a very detailed photographer, and a great DJ and emcee who knew how to get the guests excited. If I were to have another event in Hawaii, I would not hesitate to book Zenju Weddings and Events of Hawaii, LLC again because they made our wedding such a great experience. Definitely recommend to anyone having a destination wedding. She will provide you a list of her preferred vendors that she trusts and they go above and beyond. She will not disappoint. I guarantee! From day one, she was communicative, responsive (even when I sent a million emails—sorry, Lei!), and truly listened to what my husband and I wanted out of our big day. “Sugako was INCREDIBLE to work with. I was a destination bride and my entire wedding was traveling from the mainland. I booked the venue and all of the vendors sight unseen so there was a lot of anxiety going into how it would all pan out. When I arrived, oh my goodness. Words cannot describe how on top of things Sugako was. I texted her multiple times, at any time of the day, leading up to the wedding and she was prompt and had the answers to everything. “We could not recommend Hawaiian Eye Weddings enough! Leah and her husband Mike are just two brilliant people and they made our wedding extra special! My husband is British and I am from Missouri, and Leah was able to not only organize our wedding, but guided us on where we needed to go to get our marriage certificate and all that we would need for me to immigrate to the UK. She walked us through in our initial meeting once we arrived in Hawaii, the marriage application, filled out for us and just really made us feel so at ease on what to expect on the day. She helped organize the loveliest lady to come to our hotel and do my hair and makeup on the wedding day, and even for flowers for my bouquet and my husband's lapel. She went and got them and delivered them. When you go with Hawaiian Eye, you are choosing someone who knows the island, who uses local islanders for vendors, and who really provides an all around service you would not find anywhere else! Mike did amazing with our photos and wedding video, they are STUNNING! These two people will forever have the warmest space in our hearts for making our special day that much more special! The most expensive part of any wedding or vow renewal is photography and/or video and since we personally do both, we pass the savings on to our clients. We have the A-team of florists, limousines, musicians, etc. Our hair and makeup stylists come to you and everybody on our team loves what they do as much as we do. We also believe in prompt delivery of the finished product(s) taking a day or two, not weeks.

“If you read any review, read this one. For context, I'm a producer, my entire career is planning big scale events, productions, and hiring people. We went through 3 coordinators before finding Tara and it was because I had such a high standard for who I wanted to help me on my wedding day. Tara was, hands down, the best thing that could have happened to us for our wedding. We had multiple setbacks and last minute changes and none of them threw Tara off her step. She was honest with us 100% of the time about what was possible and what wasn't possible. And whenever either of us had concerns, Tara's response was always exactly what we needed to hear. She assured us that everything would work out and she would take care of it and she absolutely did. We did all of the decorations for our wedding ourselves and relied on Tara to set it up and execute our vision. Not only were we both FLOORED walking down the aisle seeing what she had done, it was actually better than we could have ever imagined. Additionally, after the wedding I found out that there was an issue with our credit card that almost prevented the vendor from delivering the items on time - Tara took care of it without telling us (the best thing a wedding coordinator can do) and I really appreciated how it was handled without needing to ask us. I can't say this enough, Tara was the best thing that ever happened to us for our wedding. Truly I don't think we paid her enough. We are so incredibly grateful for what she's done for us and if we were to ever have a huge event in need of planning, I'd hire her in a heartbeat. Stop looking for a coordinator, just hire her. If you see this same review on multiple sites, it is because I will never stop copying and pasting how amazing this woman and her business is. Wishing you all as great of a wedding as we had.”

“My wife and I worked with Finishing Touch for our wedding in March 2024. I can't say enough great things about the quality of work and expertise Sandra and her team had from start to finish. One of the most remarkable aspects of our experience was the impeccable organization and coordination. Every element of our wedding, from the food vendor to the floral arrangements, was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. During the wedding day I didn't even have to think, Sandra and her team had everything outlined and prepared. There was a moment where we sat down at our Sweetheart table to start the main reception and I had a thought, "I need to head to the bar to get myself and wife a drink." Right at the end of that thought I had one of her staff deliver us our plates of dinner along and asked what drinks we wanted. Within what felt like seconds our cocktails magically appeared. I know it's small but at that moment we felt pretty darn spoiled and taken care of. Because Sandra and her team were so attentive it really allowed us to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of our Big Day. Also big shout out to Sandra for helping us resolve a small family situation. We had a service drop off our Chinese Grandma (94 years old) but they dropped her off like 45 mins early at the venue while we were taking pictures elsewhere. Grandma was with a family member who doesn't speak Cantonese so they were both confused on what to do and where to go. Sandra rushed over to them and spoke to Grandma in Cantonese and handled the situation. That's the level of care you'll get from Finishing Touch. Thank you again Sandra and Team for making our day so memorable and smooth!”

“I’m not even sure where to begin to describe how amazing Events by McKenna is at what they do!! McKenna is the most kind, helpful, and enthusiastic person to assist you during such an important time in your life. She made sure everything went perfectly on our wedding day and every day leading up to it! When we first started our wedding planning journey, we only knew where we wanted to have it, and due to the venue location not regularly being used for weddings, we needed to outsource vendors for everything. That's where McKenna came in and helped us out by hand-picking every vendor that she knew would provide the exact things we were looking for. From catering, florals, furniture rentals, DJ, and all the little details, she knew who would be perfect for the job and she was right about every single one! Every time we had a question or a crazy idea, she had an answer right away and she would do everything she could to make it happen. One thing that we were really hoping for was getting a disco ball above our dance floor, but since we were outdoors, it wasn’t looking promising. “All couples need Dana and her team with Thyme & Details for their big day. We hired Dana as a day of coordinator but she is so much more than that. She went to countless vendor meeting and kept track of all of my overly detailed instructions to make sure each piece of our day (timeline, vendor contracts, etc) worked with those details. When the venue dropped the ball, others got details wrong, or vendors fell through, Dana was always a step ahead and came up with even better solutions than our original plans. Dana really knows the ins and outs of organizing a wedding, is in tune with the Columbus wedding scene, and has incredibly valuable connections. “Booking Cassie to be my wedding coordinator three months out to my wedding day was the best decision I made in the wedding planning process! I really thought I did not want or need a planner/coordinator, but having Cassie there really allowed me to enjoy my wedding. Cassie was diligent, organized, responsive, and patient. Cassie was so on top of every detail and knew all my vendors’ contracts inside and out! I had done lots of research online to make sure I knew every detail going into the wedding planning process, but there were some things I would not have known and Cassie was able to guide me through. Cassie was also available to help make decisions regarding decor, helping me decide on pieces that best suited and enhanced the venue. I explained my vision of romantic candles everywhere throughout the event. Cassie and I worked together to shape where everything would go to create the seamless look. Cassie (and her assistant Cammie) made everything look stunning on the wedding day - and expertly packed up everything at the end of the night for us. I thought I could have my sister or family friend be in charge of so many of these tasks, but it was *so nice* delegating this out to a professional so that everyone could enjoy the day. “TLDR: Zoey helped us plan and coordinate a destination wedding from San Diego to the Grand Canyon with a Flagstaff reception. With Zoey’s help we are probably one of the few couples in modern wedding history that can say our big day went off without a single problem. Meat and Potatoes: Venue- We had a 30 person AirBnB in Flagstaff which would serve as wedding party lodging for a weekend and the site of our reception. We rented a charter bus to drive the wedding party to South Rim of GC and back. Decor- We wanted the natural surroundings to take center stage and to not clutter the venue nor reception site with excessive setup or decor. Zoey helped maintain a classy and magical atmosphere without imposing on the natural surroundings. Our table layout was essentially a U and at each end of the U moving towards the center we had multiple themes and showing important aspects of our lives. Zoey helped with table spacing and design. She even provided some personal decorative pieces to help tie together different themes. Music- We did not have a DJ. We instead made multiple playlists for different stages of the day and Zoey managed each of the playlists seamlessly. Food- We hired a local chef who provided staff for serving. Zoey simply made sure their needs were met in order to provide smooth service. Logistics- Zoey met with us on multiple Zoom calls to hear our vision. At each meeting, she gave us the right amount of food for thought/homework to do without becoming overwhelming. Zoey was even able to get us in contact with a photographer who was also amazing. Reception Dinner/final prep- After the reception dinner, the immediate wedding party and Zoey all reviewed roles to insure efficiency and timeliness. The Big Day- Zoey helped manage two separate locations with 50 guests seamlessly. We did not fall behind at any point of the day and it in no shape or form seemed rushed. Other than enjoying ourselves, Zoey made it to where on the day we just coasted. Zoey was amazing, we are truly impressed with her logistical skills. We are forever grateful to her. Thank you so much! Can 100% recommend Zoey to bring your ideas to life and make your event a cherished memory.”

“We hired Michelle Knutson for our November 2025 Palm Springs wedding and truly could not be happier with our experience. We had a fairly small event, so we went with the day-of-coordinator package. Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. “From the very first conversation with Tiffany, I knew I was in the best hands to bring the wedding of my dreams to real life. Tiffany is not only incredibly talented and professional, but one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet. She made me feel like a high priority and without any encouragement or reminder, she was always brainstorming decor ideas for my wedding. She wanted to hear about our love story and understand our vision, and somehow, she turned all of that into a stunning wedding plan that reflected us in every detail. She created a beautiful vision board right after our first meeting that instantly brought our ideas to life. I wanted blush and gold details throughout the wedding but on a budget. From there, she built a timeline that made the entire process feel so much more manageable. I was able to enjoy the months leading up to the wedding stress free because I knew I was in good hands and cared about our wedding as much as I did. Wedding planning can be overwhelming, but she kept me grounded with monthly reminders, gentle check-ins, and clear guidance on what needed to be done and when.
