“In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

We got married at a camp in the Catskills with the ceremony out in the woods, which meant some tricky logistics: separate sound for the ceremony in the trees, load-in with the venue staff, a timeline that kept shifting on him. Ore handled all of it and we never had to think about any of it. The music was unreal, and he kept the dance floor packed the entire night. Our guests basically refused to leave it, and we honestly lost count of how many people came up to us throughout the night to say how good the music and the DJ were. The thing I'll always remember, though, is how he made space for my Tío to play. My Tío sang and played guitar, and Ore made sure he had everything he needed to do it right. He and Chris brought so much energy and just knew how to keep the room going. If you want a DJ who's professional, easy to talk to, and cares about your day, book him. “Music Masters are professional, organized, and a ton of fun! Terry is a pint-sized bottle of energy who gets people young and old dancing with her light-up shoes, crowd surfing, and dance moves! People were coming up to me during and after the wedding saying how much they loved Terry and wanting her for their wedding/wish they had her for theirs. Our DJ Lou was also great to work with, we had an idea for a 90’s/2000’s hour and gave a few songs we wanted and they came through with the most amazing playlist for the last hour of our wedding. Most songs we requested were played, he did not play a single song off our “do not play” list and he did an excellent job mixing songs from different eras. They called us the week of the wedding to go through the whole night and on the night-of our wedding Terry came and found us for any type of event or question. Also if you haven’t heard of Zap photography, look into it! They take pictures throughout the reception, specifically dancing photos (see photos below) and blow them up on two big screens during the wedding – it was another big hit/not seen at a ton of wedding. Plus you get the photos within days of the wedding. 5/5 stars for Music Masters!”

“We got married at The Bonnie in Astoria in August and LOVED our DJ, Jen Jones. We did share a number of playlists with her and she got the vibe we were going for and picked the exact right songs each moment of the night including one of my parents' favorite slow songs which I didn't even think to mention. We also had some friends play live music for our ceremony and Jen was very helpful meeting with them beforehand and communicating directly with our venue the week before the wedding. We had some technical hurdles/transitions that Jen managed perfectly. I wanted a specific transition from a video I showed and Jen was able to transition from it very smoothly! She also was very aware of the vibe. I was so lost in the moment I lost track of time and she was very on top of making sure we got all of our scheduled plans done! We had a big range of ages at our wedding and a consistently packed, high energy dance floor thanks to Jen's work! Non-Traditional Wedding DJs was easy to communicate with and the worksheet provided helped us a lot, especially since we did not use a wedding planner. “We knew Cover Story was the perfect choice for our wedding from our very first call with Chris. Chris and Elena made the entire planning process clear and easy from start to finish. They brought their expertise and guidance exactly when we needed it, while still giving us plenty of room for creative input. The whole collaboration felt natural and seamless. They made us feel totally safe asking all of our questions and took care of everything, working with our venue effortlessly. The performers on the day were phenomenal, and our guests are still talking about it! Their talent was incredible, and they were kind, fun, and professional to work with. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. Even though we honestly didn't give them much direction for timing, they just nailed it! And then the party! Our family and friends love to dance, and the band kept the energy high all night long. They even learned a couple of extra songs for us that sounded amazing. Their talent is honestly unreal. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. After the wedding, we got to chat with some of the band members, and they were all so kind and genuinely cool people. The entertainment really shapes the overall atmosphere of a wedding, and because of Cover Story, our wedding day was perfect. We'd recommend Cover Story for any event, hands down!”

“Justin was lovely to work with from the start. He was booked for another wedding, but he paired us up with Rob, an associate DJ of his. Both Rob and Justin were so so fun to work with. Rob took the time to text or set up whatever zoom calls we felt we needed. For the actual day, Rob was amazing. We had dinner service, reception, and "after party". Robs killed it with his flow between songs, and was incredibly accommodating and flexible if we had any requests in the moment, and was able to dodge or handle any "questionable" song requests that came his way. We knew that he always put my husband and I's wishes first. We also had multiple people comment on how good the DJ was during the reception, and after the fact! He also went above and beyond to pull heroics the day of to get some of our DIY spot lighting set up that wasn't set up the night prior. Rob was incredible to work with, and just as fun to chat with. Will miss working with them, but absolutely will be following their journeys and would use them again in a heartbeat! So thankful for Justin and Rob!”
