Nestled by a creek on 55 acres of rolling farmland, we have recently renovated our 1942 barn back to its former glory while adding a refined "Shabby Chic" style exuding charm and romance. This makes for the perfect setting to host your wedding or special event.

Nestled at the base of Barrett Mountain, Redbird Ridge is a scenic 72-acre estate. Beautifully restored early 1900s farmhouse and an historic 1800s cabin, both offering charm w/ modern conveniences. In 1929, Jean-Pierre Auguste Dalmas, a Waldensian immigrant from Villar Pellice, Italy, started construction on the dairy barn on his property in Valdese, NC. After the barn had been completed, work began on the main house. He built a rock veneered masterpiece, large enough to house his 7 children. He cleared a field for a vineyard and until his death in 1972 (at the age of 92), he made wine in the basement of the main house every autumn.
