Hidden Pastures Farm is a venue like no other. Nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Hidden Pastures Farm offers a variety of options for your perfect day. We have a lovely converted barn reception site which boasts a perfect warming kitchen and prep area for your caterers. The property at Hidden Pastures Farm covers almost 300 acres of pristine private mountaintop real estate. The views overlooking Ashe County and beyond are some of the best you will ever see.

This package is perfect for the couple looking for an intimate ceremony with only a hand-full of guests. Available on Monday-Thursday evenings, along with some Sunday afternoons/evenings for 4 hours total.

    Pure Perfection

    I am native to Ashe County, NC however we were planning our wedding from out of town. That being said you may think that would be challenging….Absolutely not! Heather and her team are professional, organized, and fully committed to making sure your special day is everything you dreamed of and more! Heather sent vision boards, layouts, design elements, etc. prior to our wedding making set up literally effortless for the bride and groom! Not to mention, the included access to lodging on the property, shuttles for the ceremony, decorations, tables, tablecloths, a kitchen area with warmers and refrigerators perfect for catering! You can rest assured you will not be disappointed! This venue has EVERYTHING you need!

Our event bookings are on a first-come-first-serve basis.  We will only be able to book your date upon receipt of a signed contract and deposit.  If you have decided to book with us, we will hold your desired date for 7 days from when you receive the contract so you can review the details and return a signed copy along with your security deposit.  To be fair to everyone, we cannot hold your desired event date beyond 7 days without those two items.

Events are held year-round at Hidden Pastures Farm! Larger events that including our outdoor ceremony spaces are available generally mid-April through Mid-November. Our availability for our outdoor spaces is limited during the winter months, but we are able to accomodate smaller indoor only events during the winter months.
No, we do not book multiple events from separate parties on the same day.  Your day is special, and we want to keep it that way. 
It is possible there could be an event on the day before or after your event, depending on when your event is held, and which package you choose.  But rest assured, no other events will be booked to interrupt yours. 
Our Peak Season months are September and October.
Our non-peak months are January, February, March April, May, June, July, August, and November, December.
Hidden Pastures Farm allows service of beer, wine, and mixed drinks. No straight liquor drinks and no shots!.  We require that all alcohol be served by a licensed bartender.  If you choose to have alcohol at your event, your caterer or bartender must supply liability insurance.  Hidden Pastures Farm does not have a liquor license, and we do not assume any responsibility for the use of alcohol.  You are fully responsible for it. No alcohol is allowed to be brought by guests and will be taken by venue staff if discovered.
Actually, we are here to do that for you! We offer an extensive selection of decor items, which you can choose from. Of course, you are more than welcome to bring your own decor selections (we do have a few items that are not allowed) to mix in with our decor selections. We will work with you to set up a decor plan, have a mock-up session, and create a mood board so we know exactly what to do for your big day! This way, you can relax and enjoy the day!!
This is a list of decor items we do not allow at the venue (this list can be added to at any time). - Live Flames inside the barn (we have a large collection of battery powered candles. - Confetti (even inside balloons) - Glitter - No nails, screws, duct tape, etc may be used on the walls or the floor.
We have a large parking lot just for the venue site.  Close enough to walk over to the barn or be shuttled up the mountain to your ceremony site, but far enough away to keep cars out of sight lines and photos.
