Nestled on the outskirts of Maiden, NC, The Providence Cotton Mill gives you an old-world charm, with an inviting outdoor feel. Surrounded by green fields and a plush forest, the 130 year old, two story building features a soaring 30 ft. tall ceiling, allowing sunlight to stream in through the arched, open windows. The main hall is a 10,000 sq. ft. area, giving the ability to divide into ceremony and reception. The front of the mill, adorned with the large main tower, is the perfect backdrop for an outdoor wedding on the lawn. The perfect setting of old-world charm with an inviting, outdoor feel. The Providence Cotton Mill is for those that desire something different and unique for their special day. With its timeless 1888 solid brick construction, arched window openings, soaring 30 ft. tall wooden, exposed beams, and distressed plaster walls, we provide the perfect setting that is unrivaled in beauty, character, and warmth. With several locations on the property, indoors and out, your wedding can be set up in a way that is uniquely you. Over 700 guests can be seated at tables inside for a reception. The grassy lawn is limitless.

    This venue comes with everything, space enough for all your guests, heaters in the winter, month of coordinator, a pre-vetted vendor list, etc. This venue made planning my wedding a breeze, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone.

    Planning a wedding is hard enough, but in the midst of a pandemic it was more than overwhelming. Every time I called for reassurance Sommer answered the phone. Every email was answered so quickly and immediately eased our worries. We’ve said countless times since our day that we don’t know what we would’ve done if we choose any other venue besides Providence Cotton Mill. They don’t just host your event, they plan it with you every step of the way.

    Having my wedding at The Providence Cotton Mill was the best choice I could have made. Planning a wedding is no easy task, but planning one during a pandemic is even crazier. I could not have asked for a better experience, communication, and kindness while planning and re-planning. Sommer, Ethan and their staff were amazing to work with, and made our day absolutely perfect despite all of the challenges. I had guests raving about our day and how smoothly everything went. I even had friends saying they were highly considering getting married here in the future because our day went so well. I could not recommend them enough!!
