“We could not recommend a better DJ for our wedding! We got married April 5, 2024 (so sorry for the delayed review!) and Matt was so helpful from day one of talking with him. We live in FL and he’s in Missouri, where we had our wedding and he was always quick to answer my emails and I never felt like all of my questions were ever bothering him. Matt met with us a few times to go over the songs, lights, expectations, and organization of how the songs fit into the sequence of our special day. He made the process so easy and made himself available to meet in the timeframes that we able to fly home and at a place that was convenient. Since he helped reduce stress in the beginning planning stages and he’s so personable, I knew he would be a great fit for our wedding! And… he was a wonderful DJ! The music was perfect, he didn’t play anything that we didn’t want to hear and everything that everyone loved! We picked out most of the songs we wanted during the evening and he played them without question, plus some perfect fitting songs that the guests would love! We are pretty picky people and Matt did a great job fulfilling the DJ role with our requests and making the night just absolutely lovely!!! There were no instances of equipment/technology failure, which is always a plus, he showed up early to set up and his pricing was better than other quotes I received. His voice was clear and professional, appearance was wedding appropriate, and execution of his DJ skills to make our night magical filled with great music and dancing was fantastic!!! She showed up to our final walk through and helped answer all the questions, she had detailed documents and folders on Google that we collaborated on, she was timely and communicative and overall wonderful. Any time I had a little panic moment, I would text Allyssa and she would respond immediately, helping relieve any anxiety I had. She helped organize everything at the rehearsal, and day of, she was fantastic. Our parents and bridal party were even blown away by her ability to keep everyone in line and stick to the schedule perfectly. She thought of every detail and made sure our day went as smoothly as possible. I didn’t have to worry about ANYTHING day of, she told me what to do, where to be, and what was happening. She went above and beyond and helped put flowers in my hair before the photos. By the time the evening was over, she had our cars packed and moved to the proper spots, all of our stuff organized for us, and my purse, phone and keys were in my hand. I was in awe!!! We didn’t have to worry about where any of our stuff was and there was literally NOTHING missing. She even mailed our marriage license back to the office after the wedding. She truly did. not. miss. Allyssa is kind, organized, punctual and truly incredible. Our wedding day went perfectly and I don’t think it would have been as great without Allyssa. Rice + Co. Events was founded in March 2022 as Charley Rice Weddings with the vision of bringing intimacy and personality back into weddings. Charley was ordained by the American Marriage Ministries that same month and began performing ceremonies shortly after. In January of 2023, she began accepting coordination clients as well. Since then the business has grown almost entirely from word-of-mouth. Currently, Charley Rice Weddings offers three comprehensive officiating packages and two comprehensive coordination packages in addition to event rentals, honeymoon planning, and other add-ons.

They are so easy to work with, so welcoming, and SO detailed. My assistant and I were in awe of their photographer packet that was emailed prior to the wedding! It outlined the entire day for us perfectly. Sometimes, as a photographer, we are expected to lead the day and it can be a huge weight while trying to also document the day to the fullest extent. Having Charley and her team was like a breath of fresh air.
