Matt Baer
I am a professional DJ from Festus, Missouri. I am also blessed to be a husband and a father to two amazing kids! At the beginning of my career, I worked full-time in radio as an on-air talent. After a few years in the radio industry, I was given the opportunity to expand my abilities with companies such as ESPN, Fox Sports Midwest, & one of the top DJ Companies in the STL area! Eventually, after years of hard work, I decided to offer STL couples everything they had been dreaming of for their big day! So, in 2021 I launched my own DJ business... Matt Baer Media!
I have always believed that when you do something, you should give it 110% of everything you have! When you book with Matt Baer Media, I want you to be confident in knowing that I will do everything in my power to make your wedding or event the best it can be! Best DJ ever!
We could not recommend a better DJ for our wedding! We got married April 5, 2024 (so sorry for the delayed review!) and Matt was so helpful from day one of talking with him. We live in FL and he’s in Missouri, where we had our wedding and he was always quick to answer my emails and I never felt like all of my questions were ever bothering him. Matt met with us a few times to go over the songs, lights, expectations, and organization of how the songs fit into the sequence of our special day. He made the process so easy and made himself available to meet in the timeframes that we able to fly home and at a place that was convenient. Since he helped reduce stress in the beginning planning stages and he’s so personable, I knew he would be a great fit for our wedding! And… he was a wonderful DJ! The music was perfect, he didn’t play anything that we didn’t want to hear and everything that everyone loved! We picked out most of the songs we wanted during the evening and he played them without question, plus some perfect fitting songs that the guests would love! We are pretty picky people and Matt did a great job fulfilling the DJ role with our requests and making the night just absolutely lovely!!! There were no instances of equipment/technology failure, which is always a plus, he showed up early to set up and his pricing was better than other quotes I received. His voice was clear and professional, appearance was wedding appropriate, and execution of his DJ skills to make our night magical filled with great music and dancing was fantastic!!! Thank you, Matt for playing your role in making the best day of our lives so memorable!

We are so incredibly happy we chose Matt as our wedding DJ—he was absolutely fantastic! From the beginning, he really listened to our vision and made sure every detail reflected what we love. He was super organized, professional, and kept everything running smoothly throughout the night. The music was perfect, the energy was amazing, and our guests had an unforgettable time on the dance floor. Matt truly went above and beyond to make our day special. We can’t recommend him enough!

Great experience using Matt as our dj. He did a great job connecting with the crowd and keeping the energy levels up! The dance floor was covered till we had to close out!

Matt was a fantastic DJ! From our initial wedding consultation, he was very friendly, organized and professional. Leading up to the big day, he asked all of the necessary questions made sure the day was set up for success. At the reception, he kept us in the loop of when the grand entrance, toasts and dances were next. He even checked in to make sure we're enjoying the music and if we had any additional requests. He brought his lights and the dance floor was poppin. We received multiple compliments on the music/DJ. We highly recommend Matt for any and every event!
