Matt Baer
I am a professional DJ from Festus, Missouri. I am also blessed to be a husband and a father to two amazing kids! At the beginning of my career, I worked full-time in radio as an on-air talent. After a few years in the radio industry, I was given the opportunity to expand my abilities with companies such as ESPN, Fox Sports Midwest, & one of the top DJ Companies in the STL area! Eventually, after years of hard work, I decided to offer STL couples everything they had been dreaming of for their big day! So, I got back behind the mic and launched my own DJ business... Matt Baer Media!
I have always believed that when you do something, you should give it 110% of everything you have! Perfection
His forms for your likes,dislikes, and picks for the ceremony was very detailed and clear. I loved info dumping on them. I loved that we had a meeting a week out from the wedding discussing all the songs we wanted used and the timeline so we were all on the same page. On the wedding day, he got all the songs correct (which I was super nervous about cuz the music was SUPER important to me). And throughout our reception, he helped my husband and I stay on track with the timeline. He checked in often, which I appreciated Music wasn’t too loud during dinner which was great. And the fun lights he brought for the dance floor transformed the space. Would definitely choose him as our dj 1000 times over! Recommend for sure.

When my mom and I met Matt and his wife at a wedding show, we instantly connected. Matt was very laid back, and not a pushy salesperson. As soon as we had our venue and date booked and finalized, Matt was the first person we reached out to check availability. We were able to book Matt Baer Media as our DJ and it was such a great choice. Matt was very responsive, professional, friendly, and reset my portal password for me more times than I care to admit since I kept forgetting the password. I had an initial call right after booking with Matt to go over contract details, various text/email communication, and my now husband and I had a meeting about one or two weeks prior to our event to finalize everything. Every time Matt was so polite and genuine. I knew he wanted to help make our day special. The day of was wonderful. Matt did an AMAZING job with our ever changing timeline. He was willing to be flexible and share the game plan with our other vendors when needed. Matt had people out on the dance floor and the music choices were great. Many of our wedding party complemented Matt on his job well done, too. We were very happy with our choice to book Matt and highly recommend him. He helped to make our day perfect!
Look No Further - Matt is the BEST!
From the first moment we reached out while searching for a DJ, Matt stuck out because he responded quickly and was personably professional. He was understanding and patient with us due to an unforeseen circumstance on our end, but was there when we were ready to book. Then as we got closer, we got to sit down with him to talk through the day and he helped guide the conversation to ensure we didn't miss or forget anything. The portal we used to line out the day was user-friendly and he utilized the information exactly as we intended. Finally, it was wedding day and if it wasn't for Matt, our day would not have gone as smoothly as it did. During the in-person meeting, we talked through the timeline, and on the day of, Matt ensured every mark was hit so time didn't get away from us. Throughout the evening he would check in with me and/or my fiance/husband to make sure everything was going as we hoped. He went above and beyond for us and made our evening stress-free and fun.

Matt not only made our dance floor the place to be, he also helped keep my stress level low. He made sure that my itinerary was kept and on time, as well as playing all the request and hits! Highly recommend! Thanks Matt!
