He went above and beyond to make it exactly how we imagined, and it turned out even better than we hoped. On top of that, we asked if he could include last names during the wedding party introductions—something he doesn’t normally do—and he took the time to learn and pronounce every single name correctly. That level of care and attention meant so much to us. He also made a real effort to connect with all of our guests and made sure everyone was well taken care of throughout the night. While my husband and I were off taking sunset photos, Dan got us plates of food and even kept them warm—something we hadn’t thought about, but he did without hesitation. I have never seen so many people on a dance floor as I did at our wedding reception. Instead of a head table, we put the DJ façade on the stage where the head tables would have been so that he was the center of attention. Ultimately, it was the best decision. “I have been so excited to write this glowing review for the DJ services provided by Richard! Richard was phenomenal! First and foremost I feel like he was very thorough when we went over all the details over the phone ahead of the wedding. His DJ booth was able to show our engagement photos during the wedding as a slide show, but it also played music videos during open dance, which we all thought was so cool! I feel that he executed all of my requests to perfection, mind you I had certain songs starting and stopping at very particular times down to the second (I'm a bit of a perfectionist). Richard was not just your typical DJ hype man (which he absolutely was), but went above and beyond! Richard was the first person to hand me a signature cocktail from the bar and checked in to see if we needed anything as the night went on. He was also the guy that held up the bubble machine over his head so the photographers could get the desired shots for our bubble photo exit. Richard was there the entire night either playing a supportive role or playing music to get people on the dance floor. We had many compliments from guests about the music and how well everything flowed from event to event throughout the night. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Richard and honestly wish I had more needs for a DJ. Because we enjoyed our experience so much, we will definitely try to find celebrations we could have DJ service for in the future. 110% recommend and would use again!”

“Forest Park Golf Course was an easy choice for us. Everything is so organized and the package details are clear. You get the whole package here including ceremony space, reception, food, bar, and so much more! They also provide a “preferred vendors” list which helped tremendously to narrow down our other vendor choices. Maddie was our venue coordinator and she was very easy to work with! She was always quick to respond and keep us in the loop on things. Another great part of this venue is that they will set up your decorations for you, you just need to drop off your stuff the week before and they will take care of the rest! We got a lot of compliments from guests on how much fun they had at our wedding and how wonderful the food was. We loved our wedding day are so glad we went with Forest Park Golf Course!”

“We got married just over a week ago at the Franklin after booking nearly 2 years ahead of time and genuinely can not say enough about how amazing this venue, management, and staff were. When we met Christina and Danny on our tour we pretty much knew immediately that the Franklin was perfect for our wedding day not only because the venue is absolutely stunning (which it 100% is) but also because of how much Christina and Danny cared about their work and making our day special. Leading up to our wedding we had our tasting which was so much fun and felt like an event in itself, we worked with Cate and Emily (members of the Franklin management team) on our final details which made the day go so smoothly, had our decoration set up (they were so accommodating with time and giving us access to anything we needed, it made everything so easy), and lastly our rehearsal which Emily helped lead and with her guidance we were in and out in no time with all of the knowledge and practice we needed for the big day! And as if all of that wasn’t amazing our wedding day was so perfect largely because of how much work the franklin team put in for us. They helped us with anything we asked and worked with our vendors beautifully. The food was fantastic, Emily helped with day of coordination and was flawless, and the rest of the team was onsite almost the whole day. Our guests (and us of course) were so blown away by the venue and the team. If you have a wedding coming up PLEASE check out this venue and meet their team you will not regret it!”

“We could not recommend a better DJ for our wedding! We got married April 5, 2024 (so sorry for the delayed review!) and Matt was so helpful from day one of talking with him. We live in FL and he’s in Missouri, where we had our wedding and he was always quick to answer my emails and I never felt like all of my questions were ever bothering him. Matt met with us a few times to go over the songs, lights, expectations, and organization of how the songs fit into the sequence of our special day. He made the process so easy and made himself available to meet in the timeframes that we able to fly home and at a place that was convenient. Since he helped reduce stress in the beginning planning stages and he’s so personable, I knew he would be a great fit for our wedding! And… he was a wonderful DJ! The music was perfect, he didn’t play anything that we didn’t want to hear and everything that everyone loved! We picked out most of the songs we wanted during the evening and he played them without question, plus some perfect fitting songs that the guests would love! We are pretty picky people and Matt did a great job fulfilling the DJ role with our requests and making the night just absolutely lovely!!! There were no instances of equipment/technology failure, which is always a plus, he showed up early to set up and his pricing was better than other quotes I received. His voice was clear and professional, appearance was wedding appropriate, and execution of his DJ skills to make our night magical filled with great music and dancing was fantastic!!! They're such wonderful people, and I felt very comfortable around them. Rachel is laser-focused and made sure we got every shot, while checking in to make sure we weren't feeling overwhelmed and giving necessary posing instructions. She even helped zip up my dress and pin in my veil. My favorite part was when we were on golf-carts to the next location and she shouted "STOP! The lighting is beautiful," and she was right - we got some of the best pics from that spot. We had 2 zoom calls with them beforehand and Rachel helped us with our timeline, which was so helpful. She's very responsive with emails and her estimation of 5 weeks to get photos after the wedding was exactly correct. We didn't lose our deposit with them when we pushed our original wedding due to the pandemic. Even our engagement photos turned out amazing. I cannot recommend them enough.”

What is important is that my heart is in help and service. Born and raised in St. Louis, I’ve gained a lot of knowledge about local wedding vendors, traditions, and styles. “Ally was without a doubt the most important piece to our wedding!! She was so important during the planning process and brought up so many good tips and tricks I would never have thought about. She gave us a perfect timeline to work from and allowed us to go about our day blissfully happy while keeping us on track with everything we had planned. We had a lot of moving parts on our day including lots of DIY decor, desserts, flowers as well as setting up a champagne tower and coordinating our guests here and there for our first dance on an outside dock - she made it all happen! She also coordinated everything with the vendors and took a huge load of the work off of me. I’m sure she put out a lot of fires we never even knew existed. She seamlessly set up the reception of my dreams and broke it all down following the reception. She quite honestly had our backs throughout the whole process and was so down to earth and extremely nice/fun/easy to work with! On top of it all, she took beautiful pictures and videos of the reception all set up as well as our first dances with our parents! None of our guests took videos of our dances and it would have been heartbreaking not to have them! She seriously thought of it all - do NOT hesitate to hire Jovial! We couldn’t have done it without her!!”
