Working with Something Blue Planning Coordinating was one of the best decisions I made while planning my wedding. Their team was incredibly helpful, kind, and patient every step of the way. I would wholeheartedly recommend their services to any engaged couple looking for assistance pulling together the event of a lifetime. My family and I were able to enjoy wedding planning and our wedding day because of their help. They are wonderful!!

Hiring Desiree/Something Blue is possibly the best decision we made during our wedding planning process! Hiring at least a day-of or month-of coordinator was advice I heard from more than one recent bride, and initially I thought we wouldn't need to, as our venue provided a day-of coordinator. Also, I have a lot of event planning experience through my work (and have planned lots of big parties with friends and family), like to be organized and use spreadsheets, and wasn't intimidated by the idea of coordinating all of the details. But STILL. When it's your own wedding and you work a full-time job, and you still want to enjoy the experience, and especially if you have a lot of unique elements you want to weave in that will take extra time to figure out or plan, it started to feel essential to find some outside help. My fiancee was worried about my losing sleep and not being able to relax, and so he saw the importance of it too. Since our website was through Zola, I looked through their vendors and came across Something Blue and their glowing reviews. We met with Desiree right away. She even came to our home to make it convenient for us. She was fun and sweet and light-hearted while getting down to business and going through the nitty gritty when need be. This probably goes without saying but she is super organized. It was a no brainer to hire her and we were immediately glad we did. I slept so much better! I never felt like we were just another client to her (like I did with a few other vendors). I could tell that she genuinely cared about helping us create the wedding of our dreams. We initially went with the "Keep it Simple" package and ended up upgrading to the "Forever" package so that we could have more help the day of. She went above and beyond in a multitude of ways it's hard to even know where to start - from helping us find vendors (dessert, DJ, photo booth, make-up artist all came from her recs or finds!), to helping us track payments to vendors, to communicating with the venue and other vendors (especially when they were being difficult), to helping organize our guest list by dietary needs, and preparing the table arrangement signs to print out, to sourcing supplies (sparklers and fans) to picking up the floral centerpieces from the farm the day of the wedding (so they could stay fresh in the cooler), to doing a phenomenal job with set up and break down with the help of a few family members and friends, to being that calm and kind face letting us know when it was time to walk down the aisle, to even sending us video clips and photos she'd taken a day or 2 after the wedding, she really was the glue that held it all together. My mom loved working with her too and perhaps the biggest gift of all was that having Desiree there enabled my mom to relax more and enjoy the whole weekend. Honestly, I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to work with Desiree. Hiring her will be my first recommendation to any bride in the St. Louis area who asks me for advice!

We can’t thank Meagan enough for everything she did to make our wedding this past March the absolute dream that it was! She was so incredibly organized and professional. She also made us think about a million things we would have totally forgotten without her! She truly kept our day on track and running so smoothly! I was particularly impressed with her level of communication with not just me, but the vendors on wedding day, everyone knew exactly where to be and when, and what they needed to do. I’d ask her about something and it was already done, like 10min ago! Thank you again, Meagan, for helping us make our wedding the absolute best!
