Something Blue is a mother-daughter duo who have a passion for bringing a couple’s wedding vision to life. We are organized and experienced, full of creative ideas and innovative solutions, and we will keep your day running perfectly smooth. We help with wedding prep, creating a detailed wedding day timeline, decorating, managing vendors on your big day, tearing down, and every detail in between.

Meagan and Desiree both coordinated weddings on their own for friends and acquaintances for seven years before launching their business together. They are BFFs and are always thinking on the same wavelength. When you book with Something Blue, one of us will be appointed as your official wedding guru to guide you through the wedding process, start to finish. Description

Our Forever Package includes 4 planning meetings (up to 4 hours each), wedding templates to help you get organized, coordination of your rehearsal, and all-day coordination on your wedding day, including assistance with decor setup and tear down.

Custom packages are available for wedding templates only, wedding/timeline prep only, ceremony coordination only, and reception coordination only. Add-on options are also available to add on to any of our packages, including management of decor setup/tear down, rehearsal coordination, addition of a second coordinator for large weddings, and more.

Our Keep It Simple Package includes 2 wedding prep meetings, wedding templates to help you get organized, and 10 hours of day-of wedding coordination. Add on services are available for additional hours of coordination, decor management, rehearsal coordination, etc.

    Desiree came into a situation with a bride that had no idea what her wedding plans were but was smart enough to hire a Day of Coordinator! Desiree had templates, timelines and suggestions that were extremely helpful. She met with us several times before the big day and because we couldn't do a run through at the venue, she met us in the community to help the wedding party accomplish a few practice walks. On the day of she set up the reception hall beautifully and was available with last minute needs (scissors, undergarments, a knitting hook). She kept the day on track and we have compliments from guests as well as other vendors on how enjoyable it was to work with her. She also set the cleanup at the end of the night in motion and had everything ready for us when it was time to leave. I highly recommend Something Blue Planning for your big day!

    We worked mainly with Desiree, and I could not recommend her more!! I want to note too that when we had a larger than expected situation come up, Meagan stepped in to help. They are a great team. Without Desiree, our wedding may not have happened, ha! I am definitely not the biggest fan of wedding planning and it got pretty stressful at times. But we made it! In the beginning, she helped me find my venue, which was a huge feat as that was the decision I struggled with the most. I was also provided with a TON of resources to help during the process! Every single detail was covered. From decorations to registry to invitations and RSVP to interview questions for vendors to a timeline to tipping etiquette...literally everything was covered including a lot that I would have forgotten. And she also provided me lists of recommended vendors which saved me a ton of time as far as researching and finding phone numbers and websites, etc. Desiree and I met a few times for planning meetings, each time was extremely productive and we got a lot done. I felt so much more in control after each meeting. She also went above and beyond more than once. Which she did not have to do but it took a few major things off my list and saved me a lot of time and worry. She also had a few tough conversations with vendors so that I didn't have to which was amazing! The day of the wedding (and rehearsal) she was there with our timeline and decorating details...and even a few decorations she had on hand that she let me borrow. She made sure everything stayed on plan, rallied everyone that was needed at the right time (extremely helpful during pictures), lead a group of my friends in decorating the entire venue...and even just made sure I had water and the right shoes and just made sure I (and the groom of course!) had everything we needed. She stayed to the last minute and helped us clean-up as well. I recommend Something Blue any chance that I get! Like I said, I could not have done this without them. Thank you!

    Meagan and the Something Blue gang made my wedding the most perfect and flawless day that could ever be possible. The resources and advice were super helpful, and the coordinating for the rehearsal and wedding day was seamless. I couldn’t have been happier with the way the day went, and almost all of that was because of the coordinator making sure everything was just right. Thank you so much!

    Desiree was amazing! She was always there to answer any of my questions and help in anyway she could. My wedding went so smoothly and she was a big reason why! Would definitely recommend having Desiree as your wedding planner!
