The Franklin of Soulard is an elegant, spacious event venue located in the charming neighborhood of Soulard. Constructed in 1905, this historic venue provides a timeless backdrop for your event - day or night. Our elegant ballroom boasts 30-foot ceilings with lots of natural light from bordering windows, shimmering golden chandeliers, a beautifully framed 30-foot-wide stage, and a candlelit mezzanine to bring a warm glow to your evening. This grand space can entertain up to 300, with no shortage of AirBnBs and surrounding hotels to make celebrations even easier for travelling guests! Our Ballroom features 30 foot ceilings, double oak doors, 5 individually dimmable chandeliers, a 30 foot wide stage, two sided bar and cocktail lounge with photo wall. Food and beverages are taken care of in house. Large Bridal suite to be used however our couples needs, included with booking.

    Our wedding on 8/31/2024 was so wonderful, and a large part of that is because of Christina, Danny and their staff. They made it so easy and cared so much about our day. I've been a part of many weddings in many capacities ranging from wedding party, to officiant, to vendor. I can honestly tell you I've never seen venue owners hustle and put so much care into your day as Christina and Danny did for my day. It was a great day

    My son and his bride had their wedding and reception at The Franklin of Soulard on 8/24/24. I knew the minute that they booked this venue everything would be well taken care of. Danny and Christina Walsh did not disappoint! We have received so many compliments on how nice everything was. The evening was absolutely beautiful and everything flowed perfectly! Danny & Christina pour their whole hearts into every event making you feel like your day is the most important not only to you but to them as well! The professionalism of the entire team is top notch and will be hard to beat! We want to thank everyone who worked the tasting, rehearsal dinner, and the wedding/reception from the bottom of our hearts for all of the hard work that started long before the main event. There's not one thing that I can think of that they could have done better! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

    We had our wedding reception at the Franklin, and I am so happy we did! Christina and Danny deeply care and were a joy to work with! Their whole team was organized, professional, and had excellent communication throughout the whole process. I couldn’t recommend the Franklin enough!

    We had our wedding/reception a the Franklin on 6/28/24 and we could not have asked for a better venue or staff. Everyone from the owners, Christina and Danny, to the coordinators, Emily, Cate, and Nichole, and the bar staff/catering staff/every single person we encountered, went above and beyond to make us feel like the only couple in the world throughout the entire process. The space is not only GORGEOUS (your wedding photos will be amazing) but the peace of mind and ease that booking at the Franklin leads to is priceless. Our guests are still raving about the food, drinks, and ambiance. If you’re considering the Franklin—you will not be disappointed. You will be completely taken care of throughout the entire planning process and you will not find a more supportive or flexible venue. I wish we could live our wedding day over and over and the main reason for how wonderful it was is the staff at the Franklin. Thank you to everyone there—we are forever grateful!
