The Franklin of Soulard is an elegant, spacious event venue located in the charming neighborhood of Soulard. Constructed in 1905, this historic venue provides a timeless backdrop for your event - day or night. Our elegant ballroom boasts 30-foot ceilings with lots of natural light from bordering windows, shimmering golden chandeliers, a beautifully framed 30-foot-wide stage, and a candlelit mezzanine to bring a warm glow to your evening. This grand space can entertain up to 300, with no shortage of AirBnBs and surrounding hotels to make celebrations even easier for travelling guests! Amazing Experience with The Franklin of Soulard
We are so happy and thankful that we booked The Franklin for our wedding! The owners and management team were excellent to work with from start to finish. They were always punctual, professional, and incredibly helpful with answering our questions (and pointing out things we hadn’t even considered!). Getting to do a tasting ahead of time with our friends was such a fun and memorable experience, and the food on the big day was absolutely delicious. The Franklin is such a gorgeous venue and had everything we were looking for. So many of our guests commented on the beautiful setting, the decorations, and how seamless the whole event felt. It was exactly what we wanted, and we are so grateful to the team for making our wedding so amazing!

A Truly Memorable Wedding Experience
We truly could not have asked for a better wedding reception venue. From the very beginning, communication was excellent. Every question we had was answered promptly, and the staff was consistently professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Our final details meeting was especially helpful. The Franklin team walked us through important logistics we might otherwise have delayed thinking about and added a level of accountability that made us feel much more prepared and supported leading up to the wedding day. On the day itself, The Franklin staff kept everything running smoothly and on schedule while remaining flexible when small adjustments were needed. Every interaction was punctual, thoughtful, and organized. The staff made the decor setup and breakdown feel effortless, which allowed us and our families to be more present and actually enjoy the celebration. The Franklin staff also worked seamlessly with our outside vendors, honored all of our wishes, and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout the process. We are so grateful for the role The Franklin played in making our wedding day feel special, smooth, and memorable. Special thank you to Emily, Cate, and Christina for being the bright lights we needed as we start this new chapter in our lives!

THE BEST WEDDING VENUE & PEOPLE
How do I even begin?! From the moment we stepped into The Franklin, we knew the venue and the staff were something truly special. Having our wedding there was the best decision we could have made. We felt like family from day one. We cannot say thank you enough to Christina, Danny, Cate, Emily, and the entire Franklin team. You made our dreams come true. No detail ever went unnoticed—from the countless emails, calls, and texts you all answered immediately, to our beautiful private tasting (which genuinely felt like sampling dishes from an upscale restaurant, not your typical wedding food), to always opening the doors for us whenever we needed to plan something out or practice our first dance and calm our nerves. The venue itself is the perfect blend of elegant and historic—every corner feels intentional and magical. Everything ran so smoothly on our big day. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the staff was, how quickly the team served such a large group during dinner, how good the drinks and food were (especially our signature cocktails!), and how insanely beautiful and romantic the venue is.
