About this venue
Since September 2023, The Larimore in St. Louis, MO, has been under new ownership and welcomes you to a historic wedding venue full of charm. Built in 1858 and recently restored, it blends timeless elegance with modern amenities, making it the perfect setting for your special day. Set on 6 acres of landscaped grounds, the venue works for weddings in any season. Exchange vows in the marble gazebo or our indoor chapel, and capture beautiful photos in secluded gardens and along cobblestone walkways. The restored barn provides the perfect atmosphere for dinner and evening celebrations. Your wedding includes exclusive use of the venue and a private honeymoon suite. We offer in-house catering, bar service, and entertainment, though you may also bring your own vendors. Special packages are available for micro weddings and events. With space for up to 180 guests, The Larimore is ideal for couples seeking a romantic, historic setting for their celebration.

BRAND NEW GM - AMAZING EXPERIENCE IN JUNE 2026!
I booked The Larimore as my wedding venue in April of 2025. The charm of the estate floored me and I knew it would be a perfect backdrop for my wedding day. Since then, they have gone through 3 managers and I had many struggles with the rotating management. However, the new General Manager Laurie came into the Larimore about 10 days before my wedding and she was AMAZING. She sat down with me and walked through every detail of my day. She gave suggestions on flow of guests, floor plans, etc and went truly above and beyond for me. She took it upon herself to run my wedding and kept me in the loop like not many had before. She had high standards for how everything was to be handled and she allowed me to just cruise through my wedding day with such little stress. Her event staff was also amazing - they were so professional and detail oriented especially when it came to set up and clean up. We had to waffle on outdoor or indoor ceremony a few times and everyone was 100% prepared for whatever decision I made. The Larimore was the perfect backdrop and Laurie was an absolute blessing. I know that her staff is up for the challenge to bring this beautiful venue back into its prime.

Best Wedding Venue
The Larimore was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. Their communication style was very reliable - Tara, the event coordinator, was extremely accommodating when we were having trouble finding an available date for our wedding. She made us feel comfortable and confident that they could make it work. The Larimore was also an affordable option that was well worth the price. The venue itself is beautiful! Overall, the Larimore contributed greatly to making our special day perfect. We highly recommend them to any couple looking for a wonderful wedding experience.

Fairytale Wedding!
The Larimore and the Staff was the perfect choice for our wedding! First of all the grounds and house, the outdoor ceremony area, the gazebo, the reception hall, and more were just gorgeous! We had so much support and encouragement through the whole process. The team was so sweet, especially Hailey who was our venue coordinator for our special day. She made things run so smoothly and beautifully! The team and Hailey was so patient and helpful as well with all the different details needed for the day to go off without a hitch! I highly recommend the Larimore for your wedding day!

Wedding
There was no one anywhere to be found. The cheese cloth were not on the tables. The Chargers weren’t on the tables. The DJ called for someone to turn the lights off and no one came out so we can get the party started. We had to set the stuff on the side and they told us not to but overall the place was beautiful. I said the MF bomb in front of the guest, which was very unprofessional. It was water on the dance floor. We couldn’t find anyone to mop it out so my cousin had to. There was no rugs when you came in from outside and someone slid.

Wedding decor aunt
The Larimore was the perfect venue for my nieces wedding celebration. From the moment we first inquired, their communication was always quick and responsive. The venue itself is beautiful, with multiple locations on site that allowed them to have their ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in different spaces. We wanted to use their floating candles in the fountain, and they were happy to accommodate that request. When we needed to come up with an alternative plan for hanging a curtain in the reception hall, their on-site coordinator, Hailey, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Hailey was friendly, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure the day was exactly as my niece wanted it. I couldn't have handled all the little details without her. Her calming presence and willingness to help with any task or question eased the brides nerves. We are so grateful to the entire Larimore team for making our wedding day perfect.
