About this venue

Our beautiful 2 story lakeside lodge was built in 1925. The Italian inspired architecture and stunning views have made it a popular vacation spot for the elite and famous in the past. Now an exclusive hire venue, it has been tastefully renovated to complement the original cypress ceilings, grand staircases, and period chandeliers throughout. With an indoor capacity of 150 guests in the ballroom, or outdoor capacity of 200 guests either in the courtyard or on the lawn overlooking Lake Pierce , Bella Cosa is the perfect space to cater to all your requirements. We have one, or two-day venue rental packages available, with optional on-site accommodation in our 11 guest suites for up to 30-32 people. Not to mention a dedicated “getting ready room” providing the perfect space to prepare for your big day.

Indoor Ballroom

At BellaCosa enjoy our original 1925 ceilings of pecky wood cypress, stunning panoramic lakeside views, majestic age old balustrades and stately oaks.

The grand foyer, bar and lounge, ballroom and prep kitchen will be yours to enjoy. Eleven furnished apartments, dressing suites, grounds, terraces and ample parking will make your stay most enjoyable. We can accommodate up to 150 guests in our ballroom and 400 guests on the grounds. In case of inclement weather a tent may be necessary.

    We had our daughter's wedding here this past July, and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about our experience. From our first tour, the venue is gorgeous and Lyttie is wonderful, to the actual ceremony and reception, everything went as smoothly as possible. Considering we had to plan this during a pandemic that is saying something!! Everyone we interacted with, Lyttie, Melissa and Becky, the owner, were easy to work with and to get a hold of. Add to this a venue whose historical character and beauty inside and out are only rivaled by the natural beauty surrounding it, and you have a venue that is perfect for all occasions!!

    This venue is everything we wanted and more. The vintage and rustic aspects of it perfectly coincide. The ceilings are absolutely breathtaking, but not nearly as breathtaking as the view from the lake. If you’re wanting a stunning lakeside wedding venue, this place is what you’re looking for! The staff definitely went above and beyond to ensure that our day was everything we could have dreamed of and more. They were patient, kind, professional and all together wonderful. Our wedding day could not have been anymore perfect because of them!
