About this venue
Our beautiful 2 story lakeside lodge was built in 1925. The Italian inspired architecture and stunning views have made it a popular vacation spot for the elite and famous in the past. Now an exclusive hire venue, it has been tastefully renovated to complement the original cypress ceilings, grand staircases, and period chandeliers throughout. With an indoor capacity of 150 guests in the ballroom, or outdoor capacity of 200 guests either in the courtyard or on the lawn overlooking Lake Pierce , Bella Cosa is the perfect space to cater to all your requirements. We have one, or two-day venue rental packages available, with optional on-site accommodation in our 11 guest suites for up to 30-32 people. Not to mention a dedicated “getting ready room” providing the perfect space to prepare for your big day.

At BellaCosa enjoy our original 1925 ceilings of pecky wood cypress, stunning panoramic lakeside views, majestic age old balustrades and stately oaks.
The grand foyer, bar and lounge, ballroom and prep kitchen will be yours to enjoy. Eleven furnished apartments, dressing suites, grounds, terraces and ample parking will make your stay most enjoyable. We can accommodate up to 150 guests in our ballroom and 250 guests on the grounds. In case of inclement weather a tent may be necessary.

Lakeside unfolds under picturesque oaks and the green of immaculate grounds. Equally as captivating is the Courtyard, with its romantic, old-world atmosphere. Be swept away by the beautifully appointed ballroom, perfect for your wedding reception meal and dancing the night away.

The Perfect Venue!
Bella Cosa was such a beautiful venue for our wedding! From the very beginning we knew we found the venue for us, not because of the beauty of the location, but because of the staff. This venue gives the best customer service you could ask for, and they are attentive and kind from beginning to end. We are so grateful to Kathryn for helping us through our wedding day and every hiccup that occurred. We had a vendor issue and she resolved it with such ease that you would have never known there was an issue! The views, the staff, everything made for such a wonderful day. Best day ever!!
From the moment we toured Bella Cosa Lakeside Wedding Venue, we knew it was the one for us. Brittany kept us organized throughout the planning process and made sure we had everything figured out before the big day. Guests and vendors couldn't stop complimenting how stunning the venue is, and we have to agree. The whole Bella Cosa team, especially Brittany, made our wedding day flow perfectly from start to finish. We didn't have to worry about a single thing because everything was handled with such care and attention. This venue truly gave us the best day of our lives, and we couldn't be more grateful.

We had our wedding at Bella Cosa in May and it was amazing! From the very first time we stepped onto the property we were in love. Bella Cosa was the first and only venue that we toured- the beauty and the value for your money cannot be beat. The grounds are stunning and the staff is knowledgeable, kind, and very responsive (Kathryn was incredible!). I would absolutely recommend that Florida brides check out Bella Cosa. Their social media and website are easy to find and navigate, and they post frequently so there is always up to date photos for inspiration. The recommended vendor list is also incredible, so I would start there when looking for vendors (Tabletop Catering, Tampa Bay DJ Co., Affordable Wedding Flowers and CM Beauty were the vendors we went with and I cannot say enough good things about them all, and they all raved about Bella Cosa and were very familiar with the venue which helped!). There are great hotels and restaurants less than 10 minutes from the venue, and it is about an hour from Tampa and Orlando, so not too far for out of town guests to travel. Plus there are rooms (10 or 11) on property for guests to stay the night of the wedding. Overall this was a fantastic experience and our day was absolutely perfect! Thank you Bella Cosa!

Bella Cosa Lakeside Wedding Venue was an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was fast, flexible, and incredibly helpful as we navigated the planning process. Their team was always available to answer our questions and accommodate any changes we needed to make. On the day of, everything went off without a hitch thanks to their meticulous attention to detail - it was truly a stress-free experience. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views of the lakeside that provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. Most Beautiful Venue!
The best decision we made was picking Bella Cosa as our wedding venue. The Bella Cosa staff were amazing in everything they did - they were quick, straightforward, and answered all of our questions.
