Historic hotel that opened in 1924 as Lakeland's first grand hotel and high-rise building. This elegant urban oasis was renovated in 2021 restoring its historic elements with a modernized design. Choose from multiple luxurious event spaces where people can celebrate life's happy milestones, join together with their family, or establish business goals. Don't go it alone; our sales & catering managers are always ready to help you make catering decisions, choose the right room size for your Lakeland event, and make sure all the details are covered. We provide elegant spaces that can accommodate just about any party or meeting theme and they vary in size from 308 square feet for smaller groups to 1,600 square feet for a larger soiree. The Mezzanine Prefunction space is also available as well as the outdoor covered patio area, so the options are as varied as the types of events we host.

    Beautiful Venue w/ Impeccable Food and Service

    The Terrace Hotel Lakeland, Tapestry Collection by Hilton was the perfect venue for our small wedding of 20 guests. From the start, their communication was responsive, accommodating, and of impeccable quality. The historic hotel provided a beautiful, intimate setting with a great view overlooking Lake Mirror. The food and service from the wonderful staff were fantastic. We are so glad to have had our wedding at The Terrace Hotel - everything was perfect! Our guests were able to conveniently stay at the hotel and stroll around the charming downtown Lakeland, visiting Hollis Gardens and other local restaurants. Mahalo!

No, the hotel must provide all catering and alcoholic beverages for your event (except for cake). All food and beverage must be consumed on hotel property and therefore cannot be removed. All guests in attendance of the event consuming alcoholic beverages must be at least 21 years old and possess a valid ID. Hotel reserves the right to request proof of age in accordance with local and state laws.

The food & beverage minimum is the least amount required to spend on any combination of Hotel provided food and beverage for your wedding to secure the selected space. It does not include 7% sales tax or the 22% taxable service fee. The food and beverage minimum can be achieved by selecting packages or individually priced, a la carte menu items to equal or exceed the food and beverage minimum.
Your Catering Manager handles all items pertaining to the hotel – guest rooms, banquet space, food and beverage, and hotel setup. A wedding coordinator is independent of the venue and helps you throughout the planning process and handling all aspects of your wedding.
Yes, day-of wedding coordinators are required for those with 20 guests or more.
No. Please assign a family member or friend to assist with getting your gifts and cards to your guest room or vehicle securely as the Hotel will not assume responsibility for missing gifts and cards. As for the décor, your day-of wedding coordinator will assist.
While we do have a preferred vendor list, you are more than welcome to hire your own vendors provided they hold liability insurance.

Yes, based on your requirements, a personalized table diagram may be designed by your Catering Manager. You may provide a seating chart with assigned tables and/or assigned seats. If plated reception, place cards are required with a symbol or color designating entrée selection.
