“Kelton from Marquee Artists was amazing! He was a communicative and active participant in the planning of the music and the announcements at my wedding on March 9. Kelton provided an extensive list of potential songs to play in a shared Google Document with columns for “play” and “do not play” which was great. Also, I was impressed that he attended the walk through of the Whittemore House a month prior to the wedding, asking pertinent questions of the Whittemore staff about the placement of various things and how best to provide the sound amplification that would be needed. He provided wireless mics which worked really well for the toasts. Kelton did a great job as the master of ceremony and his mix of the selected music was fun and fabulous. He had the crowd dancing, rocking to the music. Many of the older folks told me that they hadn’t danced in years but were having lots of fun doing so then. Having him on our wedding team instilled so much confidence in me, my daughter and new son-in-law, who is an amateur DJ. They were so taken by Kelton that, if possible, they would like to attend future events at which Kelton is the DJ!! I HIGHLY recommend him.”

The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! He was a super helpful online DJ platform which helps you put in your timeline, music preferences and more! It really takes the weight off the couple and makes the music aspect a breeze! I bailed on corporate America to start my DJ career, working for a multi-op company whose DJ’s all work part-time. Disenchanted w/the impersonal, volume-based multi-DJ business model, I went out on my own, providing my couples with a non-cheesy, musically lively reception. On the wedding day itself, Paris was so friendly, energetic, and fun to work with. He helped keep the entire reception flowing smoothly and created such an amazing atmosphere for both us and our guests. The music selection was absolutely perfect and stayed completely in tune with the energy of the crowd all night long. The dance floor was packed the entire evening, and so many of our guests commented afterward about how incredible the music was. Honestly, months later we are still receiving compliments about how amazing our DJ was — we even had guests ask if they could get the playlist from our wedding! We are so grateful for the amazing service Paris provided and for helping make our wedding day so memorable, personal, and fun. We would absolutely recommend him to any couple looking for a talented, organized, and truly exceptional wedding DJ!”

“Chris and Sarah played for our wedding at the MAAS building and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Sarah set up meetings with us to discuss our expectations and day of timeline, and find out more about our music tastes. It felt very customized to us! We asked for an acoustic instrument rendition of Zeppelins “The Rain Song” for the wedding party processional and Chris knocked it out of the park. He also played a light jazzy “Isn’t she Lovely” , for the Bride’s walk down the aisle. It was perfect. Sarah’s voice is beautiful, the DJing was amazing. We got endless compliments. We closed down with the last remnants on the dance floor…. And Chris and Sarah endured haha - They kept the energy alive until late. Also - Accommodated our guests requests into the mix! Their Photo Booth attendant, Heather, did an amazing job keeping guests entertained etc! Thanks again you guys! Couldn’t ask for a more beautiful duo! -Christian and Charlotte”

“I can’t speak this companies praises enough. From the beginning of booking, the communication was incredible. We requested Agnes for our wedding photographer and were delighted to get her. Both our photographer and DJ were booked through them. They walked you through planning call stages prior to our wedding. Both our photographer Agnes and our DJ Mark Allan called us directly to confirm details, and go over timelines and our direct requests. We were impressed with Agnes from start to finish of our day. She communicated well, gave amazing direction, and did her very best with our rowdy group full of kids and ensured that we could get pictures that will last a lifetime. She kept us comfortable, calm, at ease and still managed to make the experience incredible regardless of the rain. DJ Mark Allan was everything we were hoping for. Organized, timely, and fun. He was very helpful with helping us get messages out to the guests, playing the brides most requested songs, and keeping the guests and vibe fun and exciting.
