“As a bride, I’m honestly so glad we chose this venue for our wedding banquet. From the very first visit to the actual wedding day, the entire experience was smooth and reassuring, which made the whole planning process so much less stressful for me. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. It has a luxurious European-style design with very high ceilings, which makes the space feel grand and elegant. It also photographs incredibly well—something that was really important to me. When we first brought our family to see it, everyone was impressed right away. On the wedding day, the service really stood out. The staff were professional and experienced, and everything ran seamlessly. I didn’t have to worry about the flow of the event at all, which allowed me to truly enjoy the moment. The timing of the courses was also very well managed, and many of our guests complimented the food. Another huge plus is the large private parking lot, which made things so much easier for our guests—especially in New York, where parking can be a challenge. Overall, this venue gave me a beautiful, stress-free wedding experience that I’ll always remember. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding banquet venue.”

“Our wedding at Terrace on the Park was truly the wedding of our dreams, and we cannot recommend this venue enough. From the moment we started planning, the staff made us feel supported, excited, and completely taken care of every step of the way. Nicole and Bruno were absolutely amazing. They were friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and genuinely cared about bringing our vision to life. Planning a wedding can feel overwhelming, but they made the entire process feel smooth and exciting. We can’t thank them enough. On the day of the wedding, Bridal Attendant Tatiana and Bridal attendant in-training Sheyla were honestly lifesavers. They never left my side and made sure I had everything I needed at all times, from drinks and food to fixing my lip gloss. They made me feel calm, cared for, and able to fully enjoy every moment of the day. Walter, our maitre’d, was incredible as well. He kept everything running on schedule while making the entire night feel effortless and seamless. ( I actually forgot my boutique of flowers before walking down the aisle and the staff RAN to go get it for me) The food was AMAZING. The chef and his team did such an incredible job. Everything was delicious, beautifully prepared, and there were so many options for our guests to enjoy. We are still getting compliments about the food weeks later! ( Get the Mongolian beef!!! You won’t regret it). The bartenders also deserve a huge shoutout because they were AMAZING all night long. They were friendly, fast, attentive, and kept the drinks flowing the entire evening. And the venue itself? Absolutely stunning. Elegant, romantic, and everything we could have imagined. One of our favorite parts was being able to enjoy both the indoor Penthouse ballroom and the outdoor balcony overlooking the city. The sunset rooftop photos were breathtaking and gave us some of the most beautiful memories from our wedding day. We received endless compliments from our guests about the atmosphere, service, food, and overall experience. Terrace on the Park made us feel like royalty, while still making the night feel fun, warm, and personal. 10/10 recommend Terrace on the Park for your wedding or special event, they truly made our dream wedding come to life.”

“We're so glad we chose The Bonnie for our wedding. Living in the city we don't get to host people often and were looking for a venue with a warm and personal vibe, elevated without being too formal - we were so lucky The Bonnie is right in our neighborhood! Their event manager Tali is very flexible, calm, and easy to communicate with. She and the whole staff were amazing throughout the night, resetting the ceremony space into dinner space seamlessly and navigating around an enthusiastic dance floor late into the night. Not a glass was broken! They also let us use the bar TVs to share a slideshow and some videos which were a big hit with guests and made the whole event feel so personal. We booked the back garden, oak room, and snug area and had around 105 people. This was a good number for the space (max capacity was 120 which I'm glad we did not hit). We got lucky with the weather for mid August and it was low 80s during the day of our wedding. I was nervous about the heat in the garden but it was comfortable. I was also a bit nervous about the dance floor being cobblestone but it was perfectly fine and didn't stop anybody of any age! If you have eaten here you know the food and drinks are great. We particularly appreciated the ease of accommodating dietary restrictions. Their wedding menu has a nice selection of options and their executive chef Nick also customized a bit beyond that, offering us a gluten free dessert. Our one vegan guest got a vegan pastrami sandwich which was a hit! There was also more food at cocktail hour than I expected, with a couple people asking us if it was the dinner. This will sound weird but I was surprised how much fun I had. So thankful to everyone at The Bonnie for being so on top of everything and letting us enjoy the day!”

“Our experience with the Douglaston Manor was an actual dream come true! From the moment we walked in to see the Manor, Kathy, our wedding coordinator, was wonderful. Relaxed, sweet, and so caring about us and what we wanted, she never made us feel pressured or nervous and gently made suggestions which ended up making our night even better than we could have hoped. Working with Carlos our Maitre D and Michelle my Bridal Attendant was a blessing. Michelle was so attentive and helpful. Within minutes of meeting her, I felt like I was spending time with a good friend. She was so funny, kept me calm and literally did anything and everything I needed- most of the time without me having to ask her. The same could be said for Carlos. Just to give a small example, my fake eyelash starting come off a tiny bit. Without any eyelash glue on us, I was nervous about how we would fix the issue but The Manor proved how above and beyond they'd go when Carlos, unpromoted and unknown to me at the time, went out and brought me eyelash glue! It was a small gesture but it went a long way and showed me how devoted the Manor is to their clients. Michelle made sure he knew exactly what to get and she helped me fix it when he came back (which was unbelievably quick as well) . Carlos was fantastic at keeping my group organized and making sure the ceremony was perfect. We are so grateful to both of them. Aside from their exceptional service, the staff at the manor was outstanding- every room was impeccably decorated and arranged exactly as we had hope, all of the items we had brought with us for various aspects of the night were set up perfectly without instruction and the attention to detail was second to none. The food. I am biased seeing as it was my own wedding, but the food was incredible from start to finish. The cocktail hour sampling that Michelle left from my husband and I including EVERYTHING being served downstairs and was presented beautifully- time was clearly taken to make sure we were able to try the food but also have it presented to us in a really special way. Kathy had suggested we try an "off-menu" item, braised beef in a red wine sauce, and no surprise, it was easily the best tasting wedding dinner item I've had at any wedding. There are so many things that go into making a wedding day perfect and that means there are so many things that are easy to stress over. Not once during the planning process or on the big day did I ever feel worried or concerned. Everybody communicated clearly, checked and double checked things and did everything possible to ensure everything was perfect- not just great, but genuinely perfect. Oh, and the cost was VERY reasonable. Kathy worked with us every step of the way to accommodate our budget while making sure the elements we wanted were included. We are looking forward to going back to the manor for future celebrations and feel so thankful to have been treated so well. They made our day everything we ever could have hoped for!”

“Museum of the Moving Image is not your typical wedding venue - which is exactly what we wanted. BG, our venue coordinator was such a pleasure to work with. This was the first venue we visited and instantly knew it was the one for us, a lot of which is down to the level of service BG provided. We had just shy of 100 guests, reception in the main hall, and used the Red Stone Theatre for the ceremony. Our guests LOVED that they had access to the museum throughout the night, it was such a fun and interactive night for them. “Picking M. Wells as my wedding venue was the best decision I’ve ever made. You feel like you’re part of their family the moment you reach out. Sarah was so easy going and positive and flexible. Everything we asked, she said yes to. They are so supportive of whatever you want, whatever will make your day special and unique to you. The space is stunning and unique and can accommodate the ceremony and reception with different configurations to accommodate small to medium weddings. We had 75 guests and it was ideal. It’s intimate, cozy and just so special. The neighborhood is fun and trendy and makes for amazing pictures. And I promise you will not get better food for the price anywhere else. It’s the best deal in NYC. There is no set menu to choose from - you tell the chef what you like and they come up with amazing, inventive dishes, personalized to you and the season. The food was incredible and impressive and bountiful. We even had a poutine course after dessert! All my guests said my wedding was the most fun, unique wedding they had been to and everyone raved about the food. It was pure magic and love from start to finish. I would give anything to relive that day again. M. Wells forever ️”

“We got married in June at GOC and it was the best day of our lives in every way, largely thanks to the hospitality from the GOC crew. If you're contemplating having your wedding here, DO IT. Truly unreal experience from start to finish. In the months leading up to the wedding, Stella, Chloe and Joe were so flexible and made themselves available every step of the way. From our food tasting, to tap/ cocktail selection - we really felt like we had complete agency. The GOC team helped us build a menu with all of our favorite foods. Everything was so delicious and fresh - so many people complimented the food. Food and drinks were plentiful. The bar staff was lighting fast and had plenty pre-poured - I don't think anyone waited for a drink for more than 5 seconds. Stella was a HUGE support in working with our various vendors. She integrated sweet little personal touches all around the venue - from our table number, to the menus. It feels like she thought of everything. We felt so supported every step of the way. We had our 120 person ceremony on the roof, cocktail hour downstairs, and dinner / dancing upstairs. The space is so flexible and comfortably fits more people than you'd think. We had a full band, a packed dance floor, and still somehow plenty of space to roam. The team flipped the space SO fast between our ceremony and reception. The skyline and bridge view made a stunning backdrop for our ceremony. The staff made sure we had drinks in our hands, and plates at our table. when we went upstairs We were truly blown away. The space is stunning as it and requires so little decor , if any at all. We loved that GOC has table cloths/ chairs/ tableware etc. It's really tough to find a true full service venue in NYC. They really can do it all, which allowed us to be present and focused only on having fun that day. I could go on and on and on, but I'll finish by saying that I'd be happy to talk to anyone about our experience because it was truly so perfect.”
