His preparation and attention to detail beforehand was immaculate, as he spent over an hour with my partner and me going over the entire wedding day step by step. The sound systems were flawless- everyone could hear our vows during the ceremony and the quality of the sound during the entire day and night was exceptional. He kept our wedding very organized and was the perfect host. Regarding the music selection, he allowed us to make playlists for the cocktail hour and reception which he stuck to using beautiful transitions between songs. Our guests were dancing the entire night! All of our guests said it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. 10/10 DJ, would definitely recommend him for any event. I included a pic of me doing the worm in my wedding dress. The dance floor was too packed so I had to do it on the side!”

“What initially drew us to his wedding package was the comprehensive nature of his offerings, all for one package price. This included everything from a drone (though we couldn’t use it due to rain… bummer), GoPro video from the day from various angles, fun lighting for the reception, and projection and recording of our vows, among other things. We loved that he offered some complimentary video services especially since we did not have a videographer. From our initial meeting, Michael made us feel comfortable and made the planning process super easy. The app that he uses to capture all of the information and song selections was easy and intuitive to use, allowing us to add details and songs throughout the the planning process. Michael was super flexible with the ceremony arrangements, accommodating our decision to hold the ceremony outside even though it was drizzling. He kept everyone MOVIN’ & GROOVIN’ on the dance floor, and many guests commented that it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to. He even let me (the bride) mix a song as the DJ, and even though I had no idea what I was doing, it made for some fun and memorable photos. We opted to rent his photo booth (which was an additional fee outside of his package… but SO worth it!), and it was a huge hit with our guests. The props he brought were unique and fun, and there was a line at the photo booth for most of the evening because everyone wanted in on the action. Michael really knocked it out of the park for us, and we were thrilled with how everything turned out. We highly recommend him for DJ services!”

They were timely and responsive leading up to the wedding and carefully considered our requests. They also set up a sound system and music stand for my grandma who officiated. Their ceremony acoustic music was beautiful and the cocktail hour music was wonderful in the background. They were able to dj some special requests for first dance/ parent dances then had all our guests dancing for the reception. They really struck a balance between playing our favorites and going with what the crowd was loving- we had guests from 5 to 75 dancing all night! We cannot recommend the Gents enough, they made our reception so fun and memorable.”

We originally were leaning towards booking a band, but wanted to have some conversations with multiple vendors...bands and DJs alike. We had heard of DJ DeWeese Entertainment from a friend, and so glad we contacted him! He was so nice over the phone, even though he knew we were shopping around and leaning towards booking a band. He even provided some recommendations of local wedding bands that he had worked with in the past...I mean, who does that, who refers another vendor to ensure we were able to get the right entertainment for our special day. All that said, every time we talked about booking entertainment for our wedding, we kept bringing up Jeremy; how nice he was, how in tune he was to what we wanted, and the list goes on. Fast forward, we ended up booking Jeremy, and couldn't have made a better decision for our wedding. He was wonderful to work with; from timely responses to emails, hopping on the random planning phone call, etc...he was there the entire process. He said from the beginning that he wanted to not only make our wedding day special, but the entire process...he did just that! Onto the wedding...unbelievable! He had a portal that we were able to plan out our music, and he ensured ALL of our "must plays" were played. His music and mixing was really fun, kept the crown engaged, but still made it elegant! Jeremy checked in with us throughout the day to make sure we didn't need anything, kept the dance floor packed. We even extended an hour, and he was happy to do so. Our friends and family are still talking about our wedding, and they all mention the music! All in all, one of, if not the best, vendor we booked for our wedding. “My daughter recently got married in Newport, Rhode Island, on September 14th, 2024. She choose to have her reception in a tent on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. The venue was stunning and the woman at EH recommended Clockwork as we were looking for a local band with horns to play at the reception. We were not able to hear them in person, but all the video's posted online more than helped our decision making process and we quickly booked the band 20 months in advance, It was our second decision in the wedding process after the venue -with many, many more to come, but without a doubt - IT WAS THE BEST DECISION!!!! Booking was easy - we sent a check to reserve the date. the catalog of music they are capable of playing is extensive. But we had a tremendous comfort level with Clockwork New England as the contract states YOU GET THE EXACT MUSICIANS you see on all the website videos. There are no switches, or long lists of band members they slot in on any given day. Everyone we saw and loved are the people that showed up for our event. From start to finish - the band rocked the night away - the dance floor was never empty. They sang the bride and grooms song 'You are the Best Thing" and it was spectacular. And every song after that just got us up off our feet. The horns added so much - we keep hearing from friends asking us who they were, because they LOVED the music. The interactions with the crowd also made the night so memorable - and some of the best videos of the night. The band worked well together - and we just cannot say enough about how much they added to the party. Patrick joined a zoom call we had w our planner a week or so earlier than the event - and went over every detail - completely putting our minds at ease. 5 stars are NOT ENOUGH!! They truly made our event the best it could have possibly been! I want to do it again!”

Drew had sent me an email a few weeks before the couples wedding with the reception timeline (a first) and kept me up-to-date with any last minute changes the day of. It is clear by working with Drew how much he loves his job and how much he cares about the couples he works with. “We worked with Kevin Maldonado for our 11.17 ceremony and reception at the Granite Rose in Hampstead NH. Main Event was the recommended DJ service from our venue, and the matching process to put us with the rigth DJ was so easy. Once we met with Kevin, we had high hopes for our big day, and I am not exaggerating when I say that Kevin blew our hopes out of the water. Kevin helped with audio for our ceremony, before doing music and speeches at our cocktail hour and reception. We requested a high energy dancefloor, with classics from all decades to get everyone on their feet, and wanted to have an insane dance party with our friends and family. He killed it.
