It perfectly set the mood I was looking for, and I was so happy that he was able to play our nontraditional music selections; thankfully he was able to use a Spotify playlist I had made just for cocktail hour. I received so many compliments on the music from my guests, and he kept them dancing for hours! But the one thing Ed did that I was most impressed with and touched by, was him picking the perfect next song when my husband was dancing with his daughter. Our photographer was able to get some beautiful photos of the moment, and we will be treasuring them for years. Without Ed's instincts and quick thinking, we wouldn't have those photos. “We hired DJ Chuck from mydeejay for our wedding on April 6, 2024 at Kent Island Resort, and it was the best decision! From our initial phone call, after interviewing a few different DJs from different companies, we knew Chuck would be the right fit. Throughout the planning process he was very accommodating, and the mydeejay planning portal was incredibly thorough and easy to navigate. Chuck arrived early to set up for both our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception. His equipment was top of the line - everyone said our ceremony music (which was played outside during an incredibly windy day) sounded like live string music. His indoor set up was incredibly sleek looking. Chuck played all of our requested songs, cut them at the perfect places when needed (for ceremony and dances) and mixed in others that kept our dance floor packed all night - which is what we wanted most at our reception. We also ordered uplighting through them which turned out great. I highly recommend DJ Chuck and mydeejay for your wedding or event!”

Addison was simply a treat to work with in the planning stages and was exceptionally on point and professional during the wedding day. He's funny but classy, professional but not uptight, willing to make on-the-fly changes, and kept the dance floor hopping during the reception. From his bridal party introductions to saying goodbye at the end of the night, he was simply great. Our wedding was moved inside at the last minute due to rain and he somehow relocated his setup on the fly and didn't complain or seem stressed during the chaos. DJ Torpedo offers a really wonderful music planning app that is easy to understand and pick your songs from ceremony to reception. The app has YouTube integration that allows you to easily assemble your playlists.
