We shared some playlists with him for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance floor, and he completely understood the vibes we were going for and ran with it, working in everything from Irish folk songs to KPop Demon Hunters to Bruce Springsteen. So many guests told us the music felt just like “us” and commented on what a great DJ Michael was. As the bride, I even postponed changing into my “late night” dress because I wanted to spend more time on the dance floor! I absolutely recommend hiring District Remix and Michael in particular - you won’t regret it!”

“I can't say enough about Justin! We had an amazing experience working with him for our elopement. He played a VERY important role in our big day, not only as our photographer, but as our witness, sole ceremony attendee, hype man, and what felt like a friend by the end of the day. He went above and beyond our expectations, and our photo session with him was a highlight of our wedding experience. Justin is amazing at his craft, as evidenced by his work. He also has an intimate knowledge of the DC monuments, museums, and various venues that offer great photo ops, so he was very helpful in selecting the Library of Congress as the primary setting for our session post-ceremony. Once we were there, he knew all of the best rooms, corners, and angles to get the best shots. He also identified a few impromptu stops on our path to get shots with the Capitol and the Washington Monument in the background. I couldn't be happier that we were able to get such amazing photos in front of the most iconic spots in DC. Beyond the beautiful photos, Justin has an infectious energy and is so much fun to be around. He will put you at ease while coaching you through poses, and he makes the whole thing so much fun. “Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

“Ed was so helpful and easy to work with our entire wedding process, which was a breath of fresh air in a very busy season! My friend had him at her wedding a few years prior and highly recommended him, and I’m so glad we took her suggestion! Ed has a great DJ website where you can add all the songs you like, as well as which songs you don’t want to hear (which is very important for me). He then creates amazing mixes with the songs and knows how to keep the party going. I was really happy he was able to find our first dance song, which is from the 1940s and not easy to stream from just anywhere (thank you!!!). Our dance floor felt tailored to us, and the lights were so fun. He also did our introductions and gave the guests instructions when needed. If you’re on the fence about getting a DJ, book Edward Zaruba—he made our reception FUN!”

“Even before the wedding day Bhanu was thoughtful and intentional about making sure he would capture our story. Planning a wedding with mostly DIY elements to it, Bhanu was helpful in providing a suggested day-of timeline and also being accomodating on the actual wedding day. For the photography, he gave me and my husband plenty of time to naturally spend time together away from the crowd to take in the moment. He took both natural and guided poses to create a gallery of the most precious photos. As a lover of all art forms, I was especially appreciative of the natural photos of our wedding guests and the gorgeous sunset couple shoot we did as the evening drew to a close. I'm so grateful to Bhanu and feeling lucky to have come across his profile on Zola!”

My husband and I had a personal tragedy occur literally weeks before our wedding taking our focus elsewhere. I sent inspiration photos and we discussed our vision (simple elegance) and she handled everything else: coordination with the venues, our photographer, the transportation company, catering, and most importantly, with my husband, to allow as little stress on me (us) for our wedding while ensuring it was what we wanted. She is very communicative and able to resource pretty much anything (e.g. burgundy flowers, specific table settings, etc). She directed my focus to the most important things we wanted and was able to instinctually fill in the rest when I wasn’t mentally and physically able to facilitate, creating the vision we so wanted for our wedding. We have received so many compliments from our friends and family and most importantly, we are happy with what was delivered for our special day.”

“Working with Kandid Art was overall a great experience! They showed up on time and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. Though the wedding ran a bit behind, they were flexible. The photos turned out beautiful, and they got creative with the locations given the cold, rainy weather. They even got some funny shots of the kids at the wedding that are some of my favorites! The video was also good, although I don't love that they had to use like stock music for the background (I guess it's because of copyright issues with other songs?). I wish they would have included audio of the vows rather than the cheers of the attendees, so make sure you ask them to do that if you want it! I do love that they provided us with all the raw video footage though, as some of the most special moments didn't make the highlight video. Due to the event running behind, the cost increased a bit (which I was asked about after the wedding) due to the 2 photographers needing to split up to cover the shots. I wish they had asked me or the Wedding Coordinator about that on the day of so we could understand better what was the issue, but it was a minor thing in terms of communication. Overall 8/10 rating and would recommend.”

The food was absolutely delicious, and the station displays looked beautiful. Everything was thoughtfully presented, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was. One thing that really stood out was Matt's dedication. He even came to our venue before the wedding to walk through the space with us and help plan where the stations would be set up. That extra level of care made us feel so confident that everything would come together seamlessly. Zeffert & Gold also provided the catering staff for our wedding, and every single team member was kind, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes and truly helped bring our vision to life. “Our coordinator at Wyndridge Farms recommended we book Baltimore Event Solutions and specifically request "Korey with a K." After just a few minutes of viewing the photos and videos of gigs he had posted on his Facebook page we knew he was our guy. He reaffirmed this decision during our intro call when the first thing he said to us was, "Just know on your wedding day, I've got you." We instantly knew we were in great hands. Korey exceeded all expectations, from his in-depth phone calls leading up to the wedding to his oozing charisma and passion during the reception. He did a fantastic job of engaging with our guests, friends, and family while also allowing everyone to have their moment to shine. His remixes and overlays of songs drove our crowd nuts, and he perfectly captured our 80s, 90s, and early 2000s interests all night long. There was one particular transition between two songs that was the best we've ever heard, and the crowd LOVED it. We’re over a month out from the big day and people are still telling us that it was the most fun wedding they’ve ever been to. Korey was also accommodating with requests and announcements during the reception ensuring dinner ran smoothly before dancing began. There’s so much more we could share, but we hope you have the chance to experience it throughout your planning process and on your special day. “I have to give all the credit to my wife for starters. She found Rachel and had such a clear vision for what she wanted our photos to feel like. Rachel not only saw that vision, she elevated it in every way. From our engagement shoot at One Eyed Mikes in Fells Point, to our wedding day on May 3rd, Rachel brought her creativity, professionalism, and genuine care to every moment she captured. The engagement session was when I first realized we had something special, Rachel used light so intentionally and understood exactly what we were going for. The results were stunning, and it made booking her for the wedding an easy decision. Fortunately, the stars aligned, and we were lucky enough to have her shoot our wedding. On the wedding day, Rachel was phenomenal. She had scouted photo locations around Mt. Vernon, including a walk through Flower Mart. She knew exactly where to take us to make the most of our surroundings. We also captured moments at Hotel Revival, and her attention to detail made everything run so smoothly. She took the time to understand what we wanted and helped us feel comfortable and confident from beginning to end. We’ve already received a few sneak peeks, and they honestly left us speechless. Rachel captured us in a way that felt so true to who we are. “Sarah and the rest of the Events by Rose team were the MVPs of our wedding planning process. From the start Sarah took time to get to know us as a couple, to ensure our wedding day reflected who we are. Sarah was always 10 steps ahead, thinking about every little detail of our special day. Her organization was extremely impressive to see first hand. Even the vendors we spoke with face-to-face raved about her organization, professionalism, and how easy it is to work with her. I think it speaks volumes that everyone she interacts with (clients and vendors alike) love to work with her. She is outstanding at balancing all the moving parts of a wedding with ease, and always made sure we felt comfortable with every step of the process. Sarah always took the time to help us finetune even the smallest of details, making sure the day would include everything we wanted. “Renee is THE wedding planner - look no further!! From the jump, she took us under her wing and answered any and all questions we had, was extremely attentive, and made us feel comfortable and prepared. Having planned too many weddings to count, she really knows the industry and all the ins and outs of planning a wedding. She met with us multiple times leading up to the wedding, and always came prepared with outlines, itineraries, and details that we would have never thought of! She also is the sweetest and so easy to get along with. Truly felt like we had known her for years. With regards to communication, she was extremely responsive, and always kept us in the loop. “After meeting dozens of photographers, scrolling hundreds of portfolios, and feeling like all wedding photographers were the same, I saw Margarita at a wedding expo booth. Her display photos were nothing I had ever seen from a wedding photographer before...an artistic voice. Scroll her work and you'll be relieved to find someone who captures raw, real emotion and doesn't rely on 50 filters and over saturation in her work. Her prices were incredibly reasonable so we booked her immediately. After talking with us, she suggested we do our engagement shoot at a brewery/arcade which we had never been to and now we go every week! Props to her Baltimore city knowledge and ability to read us to find one of our favorite places that has significant meaning More importantly, when we got our photos back, we were floored. Neither my partner nor I really like our photos taken but we loved the photos and how we looked. She brought out the models in us with such ease because the whole time you work with her it feels like your with a friend who just happens to have a camera. It all felt natural and genuine and you can see it in the photos. The wedding was the same thing - just a laidback feeling between my spouse, Margarita, and me just hanging out. Yes, she can shoot a camera. Yes, she can edit photos. Yes, she can properly read light and stage photos. All necessary skills of a photographer but her real skill is making connections with her clients and capturing genuine emotions and moments. She'll set your mind at ease so you can be present with your partner to enjoy your day then she'll deliver you hundreds of breathtaking photos. Book her, you won't regret it.”
