Ethan personally met with us several times to get to know us, go over details, brainstorm ideas, and ensure that he understood exactly what we were asking for, including a few decisions made only a few days before the event. He was also very accommodating to working with other contractors and staff, which helped our wedding flow smoothly in set-up and break-down. “First and foremost I have to recognize the staff who worked the event at the hotel. Katrina, who is the event coordinator, was wonderfully communicative and detail oriented. We wanted to keep things relatively simple for our wedding but she had some great ideas to spruce things up a bit and helped to keep us on track leading up to the day of. The evening prior and on the day she was helping us set things up and made sure to keep our chaotic group on schedule. Not only that she was extremely helpful in managing the group, helping to cue and time our processions and intros into the dining room after the ceremony. She also added a personal touch to the centerpieces by arranging some fresh flowers we'd brought in and I thought the result was lovely. As important as Katrina were all of the wait staff and bartenders for our wedding. Jordan, Dawn and Dinnea took care of dinner service and Doug and Debbie tended the bar. We interacted with Jordan, Doug and Debbie the most but we've spoken to friends and family who agreed that the service was excellent. I want to call out Jordan specifically because that dude was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from drinks to food. On top of all of that he was just one of the most pleasant and kind humans we could have asked for to take care of us that day. We'd also like to extend a big thank you to the whole group as we had some late arrivals who came in during dinner time. The staff immediately noticed and without any fuss went over to get their order and get them served. We had opted for a Delmonico steak and salmon as our primary entrees. Note that because of the volume of guests the Delmonicos were all cooked to somewhere around medium. I can't vouch for everyone's steak but mine came out perfectly medium. As far as I can tell from catching up with friends and family during and after the wedding everyone was pleased and really enjoyed their meals. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere that was created. We ended up choosing the Orchid(?) package, if I recall the name correctly, which is their all inclusive package and I think it was worth every penny. I really enjoyed the up lighting and hotel provided centerpieces but I can see how if you have a different vision in mind then you may want to opt for a different offering. On top of the work they did in the space the hotel has a couple of outdoor seating areas, one of which has a fire pit, that were favorites of the group to take breaks from the party rocking inside. Ultimately the most important part of our wedding day was to unite our friends and family in one place where we could party and then not have to worry about transferring from the reception venue back to the hotel. As far as we're concerned Katrina and her staff delivered on this want magnificently. From the maintenance of the hotel and event space, to the friendly and thoughtful staff, to the convenient location for our friends and family; we could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.”

“I loved working with AMG Beauty Bar. Everyone was so easy to work with and I loved that I was able to schedule a trial with enough time to make a final decision. I loved how responsive AMG was and also appreciated the ability to text them since it can be tricky finding time to communicate with every vendor once the 1 month mark hits. I do wish we discussed the need for a 3rd artist at the time of booking, but Ashley Gallo was able to connect with me right away and guide me through since I am not a wedding makeup expert! She added ease and gave me confidence for the day of execution. I did have a trial with Mia Peters, and I let her know I was looking for something a little more glam and on the day of and she absolutely hit the mark and beyond. I couldn’t have been more ecstatic and excited with how my makeup turned out. I would highly, highly recommend her for your bridal look. I felt so beautiful and wish the day didn’t have to end so I didn’t have to wash my makeup off! I got so many compliments too from guests and other vendors! I also worked with Mia since January to contour my brows. I had Misha pen eyebrows that were uneven and thin. Over a matter of months, Mia was able to help me grow them out and choose them to perfection with an eyebrow pop service every 5 weeks. It made a huge difference since my eyebrows were the frame of my wedding look! Similarly, Vanessa and Devyn Gregorio also did a fabulous job with my bridesmaids. Everyone looked amazing and their makeup complimented their features. If you’re considering AMG - book it! I can’t thank this group of women enough, including the receptionist! Thank you AMG!!!”

“My wife and I cannot recommend Gabriella enough! We met Gabriella at my best friends wedding a few years ago when she was their photographer and loved her! Since then, we’ve been able to establish a wonderful relationship with Gabriella as she did our engagement photos (which were STUNNING) and helped us with all things planning for the wedding! Gabriella was so helpful in creating the timeline for our wedding, sharing vendor recommendations, and honestly just overall calming any nerves we had leading up to the wedding! Gabriella goes above and beyond her job as a photographer. When she first photographed my best friend’s wedding, Gabriella actually helped myself and the other bridesmaids with getting dressed/last minute touch ups. Gabriella and I also had bonded about our love of all things Taylor Swift. When she shot our engagement photos, Gabriella blasted Taylor the entire time to help us feel even more comfortable behind the camera! Unfortunately, my wife broke her ankle badly right before the wedding, and was in a boot and on a scooter on the day of. Not only did Gabriella adapt, she also offered a complimentary session once my wife is healed! On the wedding day, Gabriella and her team were so supportive and flexible given my wife’s injury and her ability to take photos. They literally carried her scooter on a golf cart across the venue grounds so we could get the shot! Just a couple examples of how above and beyond she and her team went throughout our entire experience working with her. On our wedding day, we were honestly as excited to see Gabriella as we were our guests- she felt like a friend at that point, and she gives off the kindest, warmest and most positive vibe. Her team on the day of was wonderful- Gabriella, Sarah, and Sam documented the day so beautifully and were prepared and calm, cool, and collected throughout the entire day! Our package included mobile videos taken throughout the day which were SO perfect to document little moments and look back on and share with friends and family! We also have an anniversary session with Gabriella included with we are so excited about!! We have and will continue to recommend Gabriella to anyone and everyone!”

“Where to start... Michael Kane was so much more than we expected, and we couldn't be happier. I was very picky about all of our vendors, and I'll admit I was nervous about our DJ as well. Would he understand our unique music taste? Would he make sure our guests could hear our vows during the ceremony? Would he be able to read the vibe of the room and maintain a good flow of music to keep all of our guests happy? Well, he went above and beyond in every respect. While my wife and I were nervous wrecks for the entire day, he was there as a kind and supporting presence to make sure we had nothing to worry about. Before the ceremony even started, he gave our rookie Officiant some sage advice that helped calm her nerves. For the ceremony he brought his own (personal) pro speaker system that made sure every guest could hear every word from our officiant and us. He understood our music taste so perfectly that I don't think my wife left the dance floor once. When we found out (mid-reception!) that we could play music beyond the original ending time, he worked with us to extend his schedule to give us the perfect ending to the night. He did ALL THAT while still finding time to take some awesome candid shots of us (that's me, clearly enjoying the song, in the attached picture). Ultimately, DJ Michael Kane handled his job perfectly with professionalism, charisma, kindness, and swagger. I've honestly never been happier to write a review.”

“Listen, we wanted a PARTY, and The Lake House Inn absolutely delivered. The grand ballroom has a massive dance floor, and our DJ had every single person on their feet all night. Heather coordinated the entire day without breaking a sweat — she's a rockstar. Jeffrey A Miller's catering was insane. The food stations were creative and delicious, and the late-night grilled cheese kept people going until the very end. After the reception, we moved to the firepit for s'mores and honestly, that was everyone's favorite part. The groom's lounge with the pool table was a huge hit before the ceremony too. If you want a lakefront wedding venue in PA that knows how to throw a party, The Lake House Inn is your place. 10/10 would do it all over again.”
