“I can't say enough about Justin! We had an amazing experience working with him for our elopement. He played a VERY important role in our big day, not only as our photographer, but as our witness, sole ceremony attendee, hype man, and what felt like a friend by the end of the day. He went above and beyond our expectations, and our photo session with him was a highlight of our wedding experience. Justin is amazing at his craft, as evidenced by his work. He also has an intimate knowledge of the DC monuments, museums, and various venues that offer great photo ops, so he was very helpful in selecting the Library of Congress as the primary setting for our session post-ceremony. Once we were there, he knew all of the best rooms, corners, and angles to get the best shots. He also identified a few impromptu stops on our path to get shots with the Capitol and the Washington Monument in the background. I couldn't be happier that we were able to get such amazing photos in front of the most iconic spots in DC. Beyond the beautiful photos, Justin has an infectious energy and is so much fun to be around. He will put you at ease while coaching you through poses, and he makes the whole thing so much fun. “We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

I’m Artur full-time wedding photographer behind the Kandid Arts. As a wedding photographer with roots in Europe and a heart in the United States, I bring a unique blend of cultural influences and experiences to my craft. Born and raised in Eastern Europe, I developed a passion for photography that has only grown stronger during my last few years in the United States. For the past 6 years, I have dedicated myself to the art of wedding photography, capturing the love and joy of couples on their special day.

Not only was he amazing, but his team was also incredible. We had one other photographer and 1 videographer along with Artur and they were such a fun and relaxing team to be around. My guests are still talking about how much they loved the photo/video team and how they felt like they were part of the party! Our photos are stunning and fit the exact vibe we were hoping to get. Our video was phenomenal, we felt like we were in a movie! We also decided to get the expedited package and got all of our photos, AND the full wedding video a week after the wedding. We are so happy we went with Kandid Art Photography!”

He was always responsive, attentive, and helped us create a menu that perfectly fit the vision for our wedding. We went with food station and chose the taco station and Mediterranean station, and they were the perfect combination for our cocktail-style reception. The food was absolutely delicious, and the station displays looked beautiful. Everything was thoughtfully presented, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how amazing the food was. One thing that really stood out was Matt's dedication. He even came to our venue before the wedding to walk through the space with us and help plan where the stations would be set up. That extra level of care made us feel so confident that everything would come together seamlessly. Zeffert & Gold also provided the catering staff for our wedding, and every single team member was kind, professional, and incredibly hardworking. They kept everything running smoothly behind the scenes and truly helped bring our vision to life. One thing that must be pointed out is how committed he is to playing his role in any event, he had a whole tv trailer to make things so much more convenient as a traveling DJ/ entertainment. He did an amazing job executing our song requests and making a dope mix including all our or favorite genres and artists and keep the party going. In addition, Desmond was very attentive and hands on during our wedding, he made it his mission to meat everyone on the team and get to know family.
