“The staff was so helpful and professional! We didn’t have a wedding planner, so I organized and labeled everything as best as I could and the staff set everything up for us - the centerpieces, the place settings, the favors, our cake table, and our altar. I was able to send updated seating charts to the catering lead Marcela to help coordinate meal selections and guests placements, as well as who to serve what. I really appreciated the flexibility when it came to my brothers - both of them have autism and can be picky eaters, so I asked to have two kids meals set aside in case they didn’t like the food. And even though both boys ended up eating the main choices, Marcela had their kids meals set aside in to-go containers for the road. Dinner was delicious and everyone loved the churro cart & hot cocoa bar. Highly recommend the beef barbacoa and pollo mole, and instead of bread we opted for warm tortillas! We loved the unique menu and how we had the option to customize the menu to suit our guests. We loved that we had the option to build our contract a la cart: we paid for the use of their liquor license and their bartenders for the night, but we supplies the booze and cocktail accoutrements, which saved us a ton of money since we couldn’t really calculate all the drinking guests we had. Table linens and flatware were included, but they did have options to upgrade for things like glassware. It was so relaxing to know how on top of it the team was so we didn’t have to worry. And with how expensive and confusing most chicago catering companies were, the affordability and transparency of Cocina Fusion was a huge relief. We can’t recommend Cocina Fusion enough.”
