    The best pizza!

    Billy Bricks on Wheels made our wedding day delicious and stress-free. Craig and his team were easy to work with from start to finish, answering our questions quickly and helping us plan the perfect menu. On the day of, Craig stayed on top of everything to make sure we never ran out of food and that it all looked beautiful on the table. Our guests could not stop talking about how tasty everything was, and honestly, we felt the same way. The quality of the food was outstanding for the price we paid. We would absolutely recommend them to any couple looking for a caterer who cares about getting the details right.

    Great food, poor communication

    *this review was written by my wife, posting on her behalf* My husband and I were very pleased with the food that we had for our wedding day; the appetizers, pizza, and ice cream were incredible. We received many compliments on the food from our guests, and they loved the creative idea of a pizza buffet and an ice cream truck for a wedding. They did a great job with the layout of their buffet tables and were quick to make the pizzas. When it comes to the administrative side of things with Craig however, things weren't as seamless. He informed us that they lost their admin person, so ever since that happened, there seemed to be quite a bit of lack of communication and disorganization throughout the planning process. Varying information was told to us, emails got lost in translation, a number of messages never got responded to or got acknowledged very late, and they also were a bit late to our wedding which unexpectedly bumped back our reception schedule. Also during the dessert part of our wedding, the staff there graciously offered to save us some leftover ice cream for later in the night, but did not bring or give us to-go containers with lids to put the ice cream in, so it ended up just melting all over our sweetheart table, therefore we never even got to enjoy the ice cream that we paid for. Again, the quality of their food was excellent. But the planning process leading up to our wedding was quite frustrating and unprofessional.

    Best Wedding Food Ever

    When we started planning a wedding, we knew we wanted to do something “nontraditional” and a bit more us for food. Our favorite food is pizza, and we found Billy Bricks since they have food trucks which is so cute! Billy Bricks was the first “tasting” we scheduled, and also the last. The experience was so fun, and they sent us home loaded with incredible leftover pizzas too. Craig and Natalie were exceptional to work: very responsive, professional, obviously experienced, and kind. They even had a great vendor recommendation for dinnerware/silverware that helped us out a ton!!! The weather on our wedding was perfect, so they actually brought out the woodfire stove and cooked everything right in front of our guests. Becca and the team were so kind and lovely day-of so thank you! And we heard so much positive feedback from our guests on the food, how good it was for a wedding, and the variety! The ice cream was INCREDIBLE. It was everything we could have wanted, and we are so grateful to the team. Thank you!!!

    A Hit

    We decided to use this service for our wedding for both dinner and dessert service. When we first hired them, they were very flexible in accommodating the options we wanted served and Natalie was awesome with her communication for any questions we had up until the wedding. Closer to the wedding, I had finalization questions/notes, and I wish communication would have been better. Natalie tried to answer the questions that I had to the best of her ability, but it seemed she only had an administrative perspective. Craig provided the on-site service, and he could not be bothered in replying to any of the questions, which was extremely frustrating and stressful for me. While this was a hump that I think could be improved, the day of was great. They were handing out appetizers and super quick with the dinner service. The pizza truck and the ice cream truck for dessert were such a hit, and we've received so many compliments!

    Perfect for our wedding!

    Our guests loved Billy Bricks! Getting a food truck was the perfect option for our venue and budget and our guests loved it! Communication over emails could have been handled a little better, but day of the trucks showed up, served amazing pizza, and did it professionally and quickly! Everything was tasty and satisfying and we would definitely recommend them!

If you're buyin' we're flyin,' but, if the distance is further than 30 miles from the distance of the requested or available truck for your event (typically at our headquarters in Lombard, IL), a minimum $250 travel fee will be added to the cost of your event.
Absolutely! We can accommodate almost any dietary restrictions. There are no nuts used in any of our menu items. We make our own fresh gluten free & naturally vegan dough from instrusty-leader Le Stagioni 00 flour, as well as Selfish Cow vegan (non-dairy) cheese and even have in-house kosher certified chefs. Almost all events are served with 10" individual Neapolitan Style Pizza. However, we can, and occasionally do offer events "By the Slice" as well as 12", 14", and 16" pizza served buffet style. Our goal is always to deliver the best quality product and service style for a particular event.
Yes, we can add drinks and desserts to any package. Prices will vary based on the package and we have a direct relationship with Stan's Donuts and have our own Ice Cream Cart and Ice Cream Truck to provide dessert options to you.
Yes, depending on your event package. Most will include napkins and disposable wares, however, you may also choose to add non-disposables for an additional fee.
Not necessarily. You may add to your package and those variables are unknown to us prior to provide a quote. Without a complete package we cannot calculate gratuity and we will need to know the location of the event to calculate sales tax, potential travel fee, and any other add-ons you may be considering.
While we do take date deposits and charge a tasting fee, those are not separate fees, they are not refundable, but they will be applied to the total cost balance of your event booking.
Not necessarily, so it's always best to reach out. We have five (5) mobile units, one may be available, or we may be able to work out timing to make your event one stop in our day.
We only offer pizza and some desserts/drinks for public events, however, our menu offers much more for privately booked events. We offer a range of meats, pastas, salads, appetizers, and more. Since 2023 we now book dessert events through our vintage 1958 Ford F350 Moo Joe’s Ice Cream Bar Truck / Ice Cream Cart. Our team also hand-creates charcuterie tables, cups, and spreads if you are looking for a grazing table of light bites before the main course.
For individual 10" pizza service we are able to put out anywhere from 80-120 pizzas per hour. Our service time varies by group size and is anywhere from 1hr-3hrs based on the event. The size of our oven means we can cook five+ 12”pizzas at a single time, and if you choose our 16” size, we can cook multiple at a single time as well.
Yes, you can! If you’re on the hunt for a dessert option other than a sweets table or traditional cake, our vintage 1958 Ford F350 Ice Cream Truck & Ice Cream Cart is right up your alley. Consider your cravings crushed when we serve up scoops right to your guests. This option is also fitting for couples searching for a “late night bite”.
Keep the party goin’! We do serve late night bites from both our pizza & ice cream trucks, just let us know what time you have in mind, and if you happen to be looking for only the late night bites rather than full dinner service. We can accommodate most, if not all of these late night bite requests.
Yes, we do have a list of venues we frequently cater weddings at and are their preferred vendor. We are the most familiar with these venues’ layouts and how we plan dinner service, cocktail hour, etc. You don’t have to book at these preferred venues, but if you already have a specific venue booked that is on our list, it makes the process of planning day of specifics go more smoothly.
