Lula Cafe brings our award-winning artisanal cooking to your table for weddings, social celebrations, intimate dinners, cocktail parties, corporate events. From custom menus by chef/owner Jason Hammel, our chefs will craft a spectacular feast for you and your guests from the bounty of our local growers and 16 years of creative menus in our signature style. We tailor each event to compliment your needs for all types of events— from weddings to corporate brunches and family dinners, lunch buffets to light-bite cocktail soirees.

In addition to being a full service catering company, we are also a restaurant located in Logan Square since 1999! Our seasonally-focused cuisine ensures your wedding menu will only include the best tasting ingredients.

Best Wedding Food & Drinks Ever!

We LOVE Lula Cafe! It's our go-to neighborhood restaurant for celebrations, and when we got engaged and learned they did weddings we were stoked! Lula was on the vendor list by our wedding venue, Firehouse Chicago. From the start Lula was so great at communication, shoutout to Anna! We scheduled our wedding tasting and were blown away! The food was incredible and the price for the quality of staff care and thoughtfulness was perfect for our budget. Lula’s catering team was easy to work with and are such professionals, shoutout to Aylssa! We knew we wanted people to enjoy and remember the food at our wedding. Lula SO delivered as we had most guests comment that the food was the best they have had at a wedding! It was truly so special to have Lula as our caterer and they provide the best food and hospitality! We are so grateful Lula was our caterer for the best day of our lives! The title of this review is a direct quote from a guest who I spoke to just yesterday. Having known about Lula Café for years (we’ve long been fans of the restaurant), we were so excited to learn that they do event catering. Turning the food and bar for our wedding over to the incredible team at Lula sits at the top of the list of excellent vendor choices we made. Anna, the director of catering and events, is beyond a pro! Anyone who’s planned a wedding knows that the days leading up the event are stressful and filled with thoughts of “what if?” All of our pre-event interactions with Anna instilled a feeling of confidence that any situations that might arise would be handled seamlessly. And it turned out to be true! We had a weather event that required flipping our dinner to an alternate onsite location. The Lula team handled this in such a seamless way that our guests were unaware of the switch and the room they created on the spot was perfectly gorgeous. Now to the food...INCREDIBLE! Our guests are still raving about all of it. It was plentiful, beautifully-presented and most importantly, DELICIOUS. The bar staff were efficient and friendly and the cocktails were delicious and beautifully garnished. All in all, I can’t say enough. One thing I especially loved about working with the Lula team was their flexibility. Anna was very responsive to any questions during the months of planning and is a wonderful listener and thoughtful guide. She worked with us on special requests in terms of signature cocktails and desserts and helped us make the wedding spread personal and unique! I’d give them infinite stars if I could!

Lula Cafe Catering was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding! Their communication was thorough and accommodating of my food allergies - they customized a full gluten and dairy free menu that left all our guests raving. The quality and flavor of the food was incredible, with rich, mouthwatering dishes like the meatballs that I'm still dreaming about! They perfectly brought my vision to life in both the delicious dinner and thoughtful staff and setup. It was the best wedding dinner I've ever had, and I wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Lula Cafe to other couples looking for a caterer who delivers excellent service and food.
