Lula Cafe brings our award-winning artisanal cooking to your table for weddings, social celebrations, intimate dinners, cocktail parties, corporate events. From custom menus by chef/owner Jason Hammel, our chefs will craft a spectacular feast for you and your guests from the bounty of our local growers and 16 years of creative menus in our signature style. We tailor each event to compliment your needs for all types of events— from weddings to corporate brunches and family dinners, lunch buffets to light-bite cocktail soirees.

In addition to being a full service catering company, we are also a restaurant located in Logan Square since 1999! Our seasonally-focused cuisine ensures your wedding menu will only include the best tasting ingredients.

The couple wanted an elegant dinner-party vibe with approachable, seasonal cuisine for their guests. We worked with their florist, Thistle and Plume and their Planner, The Creative Partners, to source rich, warm fabrics that would compliment their vision and bring a cozy vibe to their March 2025 wedding.

Best Wedding Food Ever!
We used Lula Catering for our Summer 2026 wedding and we couldn't be happier with our decision. We did tastings with 5 other vendors, and Lula's was by far our favorite. Leading up the event, the team was easy to work with and responsive to our needs. They really customized the event to reflect us. At our wedding, the food was delicious and many of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they ever had. The service was fantastic, with team members frequently checking in with us to see if we wanted anything else, without being in the way. The overall experience was amazing, and we wouldn't change a thing!

Unforgettable food, even better process
Lula catered our wedding and we cannot recommend them enough. The food was incredible, easily one of the most talked-about parts of our day. The dessert table was a particular standout with genuinely unique options; we honestly wish we'd told more guests to make sure they got over to try it. The planning process was just as strong as the event itself. Anna was fantastic to work with quick to respond, flexible, and made us feel like a priority throughout. The tasting was one of our favorite parts of the whole planning process. Only minor note: service on the day was a bit slower than expected, which pushed our timeline slightly. It didn't take away from the overall experience at all the quality and care more than made up for it. We'd book Lula again without hesitation and recommend them to any couple looking for food their guests will actually remember!

Lula was the star of our wedding!
We absolutely LOVED having Lula cater our wedding! We had a family style dinner and everyone was raving about it. So many of our guests said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding, and we (although biased) agree! The tasting was fabulous and the food turned out even better than we remembered. The staff was kind, helpful, even brought out more short rib for the tables that gobbled it up fast, and our guests with dietary restrictions were able to eat as well. We're so excited to come to Lula again as a married couple, and reminisce about our big day.

Amazing Wedding Reception
We hired Lula Cafe for our wedding and couldn't have been happier with our decision. From our first conversation through the big day, they were responsive and thoughtful about every detail as well as helping us narrow down choices based on their experience. The food was fantastic—every dish was delicious. Their team was attentive and friendly during the reception, making sure everyone felt taken care of without being intrusive. Lula Cafe delivered exactly what they promised: high quality food and service that made our celebration feel special. We highly recommend Lula Cafe for wedding day or other celebrations.

From our first conversation with Anna, we knew Lula Cafe was the right choice for our wedding. She kept us in the loop at every step, explained everything clearly, and was upfront about pricing so there were no surprises. The food was incredible—our guests couldn't stop talking about it—and the tasting experience helped us narrow down our menu (they even let us do a second appetizer tasting because we were torn between options). On our wedding day, the team was warm and welcoming, served appetizers during our moment of zen after the ceremony, and had everything plated and ready exactly when we needed it. We've always loved dining at Lula for regular dinners, but they truly outdid themselves for our celebration. We can't wait to celebrate our anniversaries there and would absolutely recommend Anna and her team to any couple planning a wedding.
