Gerard was wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning experience: He promptly responded to all my emails and answered all of my questions in detail. He used a website called “Vibo DJ” which is where I was able to add my timeline, suggest music for cocktail hour/dinner/dancing, and make special requests. The website is incredibly organized and user-friendly, and I believe it contributed to the event running smoothly. Gerard played everything we could have asked for! There was a great mix of music for all generations, but what I really appreciated was that he played our requested songs and remixes that we asked for. So many of our guests have been informing us that they LOVED the music played at the wedding! We also LOVED MC Michael – His energy was unmatched and he kept everyone engaged throughout the evening. We ordered a Photobooth through Club G Entertainment – By 8am the morning after our wedding, Gerard had already sent us a link to view all the digital photobooth photos taken the night before. Everything was perfect, from the rustic façade of the DJ booth to the cocktail hour playlist (which sounded like something we would’ve made ourselves) to the incredible reception music. “Marcus did an amazing job as the DJ for our wedding at the Prospect Park Boathouse! Prior to the wedding, we completed a worksheet on the timeline and our song preferences, and then had a planning meeting with him where we went over all the details and he gave us advice on flow and timeline based on his extensive experience DJ-ing weddings. Through all our interactions, we could tell how detail-oriented and experienced he was. The Prospect Park Boathouse can be a tricky venue with its short load-in time and long, narrow layout, but Marcus knew it well and planned accordingly. We also had a Vietnamese/Chinese wedding; in addition to a DJ, we also had a pianist with a singer, and a bilingual emcee. This added some complexity in terms of timeline and switching between the singer and the DJ, but Marcus coordinated well with everyone, kept track of the timeline, and handled all transitions between live music and DJ sets seamlessly. He also showed up a little early to make sure all equipment was set up well and did a mic check during the cocktail hour. During the dance portion of the night, the dance floor was packed all night and people did not want to leave! He played all the songs we wanted (along with additional ones he selected) and all the transitions and mixes were fantastic and kept the energy/vibe high. Many guests commented on how great our DJ was! Even though we had a different emcee, we know that Marcus would have done a fantastic job as an emcee as well - he is warm, friendly, gracious, and charismatic. He is not only a great DJ but also a fantastic human being!”

He was a professional, his app is amazing and helped guide Megan and Brandon with how to select songs all the way through the preceremony to the end of the reception. There was even a place to provide their comments or special memories for particular songs, so that Jay could share. The photo booth was a huge hit too! What was most important to me was that everyone loved the music and Jay and commented during and after the wedding with how great he was and the music.
