Located at the Jersey Shore, where most photographers focus on sunny beach weddings, I was looking for something different. Our wedding took place in the fall, full of rich earth tones and a fun, edgy vibe that centered not just on romance, but on the presence of our children. It was important to us that the day felt authentic, emotional, and full of movement. And, just to make it more fun, ours was a Halloween wedding. Our standard bearer of all wedding themed films, is the 1991 remake of Father of the Bride, starring Steve Martin and Martin Short. It’s an homage to George’s meltdown in the grocery store over the hot dog to bun ratio in packaging. It’s a classic, watch it. We could give you some song and dance about how it’s also symbolic in a belief that quality imagery is an important part of your wedding, but really and truly, the movie’s just that good.
