I am a human being who has chosen a path of art as a career. It may surprise you to learn that I have a masters degree in mental health counseling. My whole life I have been preparing to become a therapist. Funny how I chose to switch gears after making all the necessary educational requirements! My journey into photography is a unique one, as all photographers stories are. I ultimately chose the path of photography because it brings me the most peace. To know that I can live my life through my art for you is a true gift. I am so excited to meet you!

The people I work with want the messy, mundane, and truth to spill from each photograph that is their story. To be able to see an image and relive it and embody the feelings all over again. My people see their galleries as time capsules, a holding of moments where each image transports them back, and back again.

Valerie is the best photographer we could have ever asked for all of our life events. I met her through a mutual friend that used her as a wedding photographer and have never gone back. The amount of love, detail, intention and creativity that comes from her is beyond words. I have used her for engagement, boudoir and my wedding photography and i will forever want to see my life through her eyes & creativity. She only surrounds herself with people that make every moment so special, and shares all her values and for that i will forever trust her with capturing all the special moments in my life. Trusting Val with documentation of your special moments will forever make them that much more special, and cherished. She truly cares about making everyone's experiences their own and goes to beyond measures to make sure you feel comfortable, and checks in frequently to make sure you have no reservations. Hiring Valerie for our wedding day was the best decision we made! Val was by far our favorite vendor from our first phone call with her to well after our wedding day had passed. She is such a caring, calming, and wonderful person who is passionate about her art and SO talented. Her communication was fantastic and our wedding photos are truly stunning! She was so thoughtful about what our priorities were and so attentive on our wedding day to capture all of the meaningful moments with our friends and family. We knew we were in such good hands with Val and I couldn’t imagine not having her with us throughout planning process and on our wedding day. We even had the unexpected surprise of receiving our wedding photos during our honeymoon along with a heartfelt blog written about our special day! I think what really sets her apart from other photographers is how she goes the extra mile for her clients and how intentional she is to ensure you have the best experience. She made everything flow so seamlessly and we’re already looking forward to the next time we get to work with her!

Val was recommended to us by a close friend so we were really hopeful in our decision when reaching out to her. Val exceeded our expectations right from the beginning! Val took the time to really learn about our styles through questionnaires, zoom chats, and in-person for our engagement shoot. We feel so incredibly lucky to know Val and experience her talent of capturing life’s biggest moments. Our wedding photos are absolutely stunning, thanks to Val and her presence! We look forward to seeing Val for future family memories!!!
