“We loved Blenheim Hill farm when we first saw it, which was under a foot of fresh snow, but when we returned for our wedding day (8/1/26) and saw everything in bloom we loved it even more. The place is beautiful, remote and relaxing. There are no sounds of traffic and the views are incredible. When guests starting arriving on Friday night everybody just kept asking us “where did you find this place??” Its truly beautiful! An idyllic place to get married. The Farmhouse, where we had close family stay for the weekend, is charming and comfortable. The kids loved playing with the goats, exploring and swimming in the lake. The adults relaxed and walked the property. The staff were helpful and fantastic the entire time. Leading up to the wedding, the venue had an online portal that organized lots of our wedding details which helped immensely with planning. The staff were very helpful with any questions we had. The food for the rehearsal dinner, wedding night, and brunch were all fantastic. They went above and beyond what most people expect when attending a wedding. Many people told us it was the best food they’ve had at a wedding. In fact, many people told us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! (We agree) A side note, we were worried about guests finding accommodations for the wedding, but everyone had a pretty easy time finding AirBNBs/local bed and breakfasts really close by. When we got engaged and started planning our wedding, we heard many people say your wedding is “just one day,” but it really is much more than that: it's the months of planning leading up to it and all the times you think back on it in the years to come too. We really enjoyed doing all the wedding planning with Blenheim's help and the wedding weekend was perfect. We will cherish the memories of our wedding for the rest of our lives. We’re sad that it's over, but if you want to invite us to your wedding so we can go back, we accept!”

Twelve Ponds is a 105 acre private estate wedding venue in the Catskills, where ponds, wildflower meadows, a restored farmhouse, a barn, and a stone arch look out over open hills. We host one wedding at a time, and every booking is a full-weekend buyout. No shared grounds, no six-hour window that rushes you through your own wedding. Couples marry in the meadow, at the pond, or at the arch depending on the season and the light. Fall brings color across the hills, and summer evenings run long and gold. Bring the caterer you love. We have a full commercial kitchen and supply all the tables, chairs, plates, glassware and cutlery for any occasion. Twelve Ponds is for couples who want a wedding weekend, not a wedding day. Send your date and guest count and we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

The venue itself is beautiful with plenty of space for all our guests, and the pricing was fair for what we got. The flowers, food, and decor came together perfectly to create the atmosphere we wanted. What really impressed us was how well the space worked as a family retreat too—our relatives who arrived early felt right at home exploring the grounds. We'd absolutely recommend Twelve Ponds to any couple looking for a venue that delivers on service and value.”

“My partner Sky and I had the dream summer wedding we envisioned at Seven Ponds. For our wedding we wanted to emulate these weekend trips we do upstate with a close group of friends and just make it bigger to include our family. Seven Ponds farm provided our two requirements of what we were looking for - a big house that could fit all our friends and a swimming pond right on the property. We also really appreciated that we didn't need to hire a wedding planner and could utilize the venues resources for all the planning aspects. We really appreciated how the Seven Ponds staff let us do our own thing throughout the weekend for a really relaxed environment, but then whenever we needed them they were right there helping with things like doing a practice run of the ceremony and answering specific questions about the house etc. It was also so wonderful that the staff were able to handle things like setting up the tables and the candles for us for the wedding dinner. Overall the forms and calls for the planning process were really helpful. We did have a little frustration at the wedding tasting as we thought it was an opportunity to ask questions about the food and overall found out that they really don't want you asking many questions and would prefer you to just read the written packet they provide without interacting in person with questions. I would also recommend being well versed on the packet you purchased as they won't be able to answer questions about what packet you bought. This was a bit different than we expected and knowing what I know now I might recommend not bringing family or friends to the tasting or otherwise just preparing them to just fill out the paperwork quietly as us not realizing this made for a more difficult tasting experience. There was also one staff member at the tasting who was a bit rude to our family members and I was so worried that this negative energy would be reflected at our wedding so I asked for a different wedding coordinator to lead our wedding. Overall the impersonal nature of the tasting also just made me really worried that the wedding would have the same feel and so I wanted to include this to note that while the tasting process wasn't as personal this was not the case at the wedding and the wedding atmosphere was really lovely. After the tasting I asked for Rosie to be our lead wedding coordinator as she had a much warmer energy and I can't recommend Rosie enough. She truly made our wedding experience. If you're looking for a wedding coordinator who has a graceful upbeat energy, stays calm and is easy to communicate with definitely ask for Rosie. There was a big storm on the day of our wedding and Rosie was so helpful staying calm and telling me to not loose hope about doing the ceremony outside. Morten was also really great with a specific weather device he had that allowed us to see when we had a good window to do the ceremony outside and very happy to say it all worked out and we got our dream outdoor ceremony. Overall I really got the wedding I dreamed of and we had such a relaxed and personal atmosphere. We really appreciated all the work the staff did to set up the wedding which allowed us to really just have fun, enjoy and not worry about logistical details. We so appreciated the flower package the venue provided for setting up the flowers and the bonfire packages. Overall we loved our wedding so much and are so happy we went with Seven Ponds! :)”

“Getting married at Stonewall Estate was truly the best decision we could have made. From the very beginning, Melanie and her team went above and beyond to ensure that every single detail was accounted for. Their care, professionalism, and warmth made the entire planning process smooth and on the wedding day itself, they made magic happen. The setting is nothing short of breathtaking. The mountains surrounding the property created a picture-perfect backdrop, and the barn… absolutely stunning. Elegant, cozy, and full of charm…it was everything we hoped for and more. One of the greatest gifts of Stonewall Estate was being able to stay for the whole weekend. My Husband’s family is from overseas and this was the first time everyone was going to be together in years. Having our families and bridal party gather together in one place was the biggest blessing. It transformed our wedding from just one quick day into a full, joyful, unforgettable weekend. We were able to take in every moment, celebrate without rushing, and truly soak up the love all around us. We would get married here a thousand times over. If you’re dreaming of a venue that’s both beautiful and deeply meaningful where every detail is handled with care, and where you can create not just a wedding day but a weekend to remember Stonewall Estate is it!!”

“We are absolutely at a loss for words to describe how incredible our wedding at Plattekill Mountain was. From the moment we pulled up to the venue, we knew this place was something truly special. The breathtaking scenery alone sets the stage for a magical day, but what really makes Plattekill stand out is the incredible team behind it. Danielle, Autumn, Shannon, Bob, and every single person we interacted with went above and beyond in ways we couldn’t have imagined. This venue is gorgeous, but it’s the staff that truly makes it shine. They are so well-polished, so professional, and yet so warm and caring at the same time. It’s clear that they’re not just in the wedding business—they’re creating memories and crafting perfect experiences with love and intention. From day one, they made us feel like our wedding was just as important to them as it was to us. Every little detail was handled with such care, and every suggestion they gave us made our day that much more magical. There is something undeniably special happening at Plattekill Mountain, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have had our wedding there. Our friends and family are still telling us it was the best wedding they've ever been to, and we agree—it was the best weekend of our lives. If you're browsing venues and Plattekill has caught your eye, stop looking. This is the strongest recommendation I will ever give. Not only will you have no regrets, but it will be the most beautiful, joyful, and unforgettable day of your life. “The Inn at West Settlement, lead by owner and DOC, Kim Lynas, was a dream come true! Kim and her team were amazing. They have curated a gorgeous venue, with incredible landscape and beautiful reception barn. The Farmhouse was a wonderful space to stay and get ready. The barn was the perfectly sized space for our 130 person wedding. Kim had an awesome room of decorations for us to use for our decor needs. We really didn’t need to add anything! From candle holders, table numbers, tons of signs, card boxes, flower vases. The Inn works exclusively with Mary’s Cookin’ catering and Rachel’s bartending team. Their experience and thorough knowledge of the space makes for a smooth and professional service experience for all your food and beverage needs. Kim was open-minded and excited about the vendors we did bring in, helping us pick photographers and DJs from previous weddings she thought would match our vibe. She coordinated with all the vendors seamlessly. Having the space for the entire weekend, including a Friday welcome dinner and Sunday farewell brunch was the perfect way to extend an amazing wedding into a three day event. Friday morning was spent with Kim and her team, putting together bouquets from her incredible flower garden and picking out decor from her collection to create the perfect wedding aesthetic to match our dream look. I can’t say thank you enough to this team! Kim, Danny, Areley, Katrina and many more!”

“If we could shout our recommendation of The Maples Estate and Katie from the rooftops, we would. Hopefully this review is the next best thing. Choosing The Maples Estate was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding, and we can say with complete confidence that that is because of Katie and Louis. They are genuinely two of the loveliest, kindest, most thoughtful people on the planet, and from the very beginning, we knew we were in the best possible hands. Our very first conversation with Katie was a two-hour call where we told her all about ourselves, our relationship, and the wedding we were dreaming of. She listened to everything, and the design deck she created afterward could not have felt more authentically us. Somehow, the wedding we had spent an entire year fantasizing about came out exactly as we had pictured it - which feels impossible to say even now. Katie and her team were so willing to make our wildest ideas happen, from having a coffee hour instead of a traditional cocktail hour to doing a T-shirt toss instead of a bouquet toss. No idea felt too unusual and no challenge felt too big. And somehow, despite planning a wedding for an entire year, we were never stressed. Not once. All year long, friends and family would ask us how stressful wedding planning was, and we genuinely had no idea what they were talking about because we were having so much fun. Even on the wedding weekend, when it rained, we were not worried because we knew Katie had everything handled. The estate and grounds themselves are breathtaking. Every inch of The Maples feels intentional, beautiful, and somehow perfectly imperfect in the most magical way. But what made it truly priceless for us was being able to spend Thursday through Sunday there and let our wedding become an entire weekend rather than just a single day. It was worth every penny and then some. We got to see both sides of our parents sitting together in the living room late Thursday night, just chatting. We watched our brothers and bridal party jump into the pool Friday night because nobody was watching the clock or worrying about where they had to be next. We got to wake up together, spend our days together, celebrate together, and simply exist in the same beautiful place with the people we love. Those completely unplanned moments ended up being some of our favorite memories of the entire wedding weekend, and they are something you simply cannot get from a traditional one-day wedding venue. The rain is actually one of the moments we will remember forever. We had practiced our rehearsal in multiple locations in case of bad weather, but Katie knew how much we had dreamed of having it under the trees. Rather than automatically moving us into the pavilion, she encouraged us morning of to have it outside and told us how beautiful it would be even in the rain. And then, as if The Maples had a little magic of its own, the clouds literally parted and the sun came out as we walked down the aisle. It was unbelievable. The estate gave us the incredible privilege of having our families and some of our bridal party stay with us for the weekend. Being able to wake up, spend the day, get married, and then end the night with all of our friends piled into the bunk room is something we will treasure forever. In fact, we would move into The Maples permanently if Katie and Louis would let us. (Please!)”

It truly was the best weekend of our lives and we had so much fun! Every single detail was exactly how we wanted it thanks to Allie and Ken and the rest of the crew. They worked with our vendors to make sure our day was perfect. If we could host another event there we totally would. We booked the venue for the entire weekend so we were able to stay on property Friday and Saturday night with all of our best friends. My husband and I had the honeymoon cottage for the night of our wedding and it was so cute! Best weekend ever.”

“Our experience working with Belleayre Lodge couldn’t have been better. Gigi, Angel, Brian, and Matt, worked together with us so seamlessly to make our wedding weekend absolutely perfect. We rented the property Friday through Sunday and hosted just around 60 guest. The guest who didn’t fit in the cabins, (and also didn’t want the late night shenanigans) stayed at the hotels literally right across the street. Our guest arrived Friday night and we hosted a rehearsal dinner with a food truck and cash bar (run by the lodge). Saturday was our wedding day. We got married at the local ski mountain (Belleayre Mountain) and returned to Belleayre Lodge for our cocktail hour and reception. The food was absolutely amazing during both cocktail hour and our dinner. We had a beer and wine bar, with local drinks, as well as homemade ice tea and lemonade. We had a cake from a local bakery and ice cream bar from a local creamery for dessert. Sunday morning we hosted a farewell breakfast. The coffee and food, again were phenomenal. The decor and little touches made everything perfect. There was so much thought put into ever part of our wedding and their passion showed in their work. I am so glad we took the chance on this new location. It truly was the best day!”

“Choosing Beaverkill Valley Inn as our wedding venue was an absolute dream come true - it's not just one of the best decisions we've made for our wedding. The memories we created there, the truly exceptional hospitality of the staff, the meticulous attention to every tiny detail, and the cuisine were simply out of this world. Diana and Kaitlyn are more than just professionals; they're wedding day superheroes. Their unwavering calm and ingenious problem-solving skills are exactly what every couple needs, especially when facing unpredictable weather or guest-related challenges. They consistently went above and beyond our wildest expectations. Chef Tommy curated a delicious menu and our guests were absolutely gushing about how delicious the food was. It’s rare that wedding food feels restaurant quality but at BVI it is! Every dish was cooked to perfection and was full of flavor. The staff at BVI consistently exceeds expectations. Every time I encountered a staff member, they genuinely inquired about my well-being, offered assistance, and sought ways to alleviate any wedding day stress. It was a truly remarkable experience. Beaverkill Valley Inn's setting is perfect - an ideal location for gathering your guests for a weekend getaway. From the welcoming front porch to the cozy fireplaces and the expansive property complete with bonfires to conclude your evening, it offers everything you could want. Our guests were constantly amazed, often asking, "How did you find this incredible place?" Their admiration extended to the Inn's staff as well. Words can't fully capture the magic of this place, but I'm eternally grateful that we chose Beaverkill Valley Inn for our special day. We're already dreaming of the countless memories we'll create here in the years to come!”

“My wife and I came to them on short notice and with a lot of stress due to the time/money expenses of planning the big day. Renee was unfailingly kind, endlessly patient and always upbeat. Putting it simply, the crew at Adena are wonderful people who are very good at their job. The day itself went off without a single hiccup. Every typical issue that we encountered - such as delays on our part, or things I forgot- was handled before I even fully aware of it. They did their jobs calmly and joyfully, and helped reassure my anxious wife (and my surprisingly anxious self). The location is absolutely beautiful, maintained expertly and decorated perfectly. Our reception was elegant and rustic, with clear views of the blue sky outside making a very pretty backdrop to celebration. The Wooded Cathedral was where we had our reception, and I highly recommend it to anyone who’s dreamed of an outdoor wedding in the country. My wife and I are so happy that we switched venues to Adena. We’re thrilled that they’ve left us with these memories, and we are so happy to call the team at Adena friends. Thank you guys for helping us start a marriage on the highest possible note.”

Combined with all of the amenities Wylder offers, it was a no-brainer. The wedding weekend would not have gone as smoothly as it did without the incredible staff, particularly Andrea and Faith. From the moment of our first phone call until we were leaving the farewell brunch, they took care of us every step of the way. Everyone was so welcoming and accommodating, and Wylder truly felt like our home for the weekend. “TLW was the absolute best venue for our wedding. They let us bring a bouncy house obstacle course onto the property, and even had a vendor recommendation. Throughout our literal hundreds of emails back-and-forth, they were professional, friendly, and prompt in their reply. Our guests had so much fun, and TLW did a fantastic job accommodating our guests' various dietary restrictions. TLW also did a great job communicating with our other vendors. It was a dream to work with TLW - the food was delicious, all of their staff were friendly and welcoming, and the venue itself cannot be beat. The kids (and adults) had a wonderful time enjoying the goats on site, the swimming pool, and the go-karts! The go-karts are an absolute must-have add-on to any wedding, it is all anyone could talk about afterwards. It was so much fun! “Choosing to have our wedding at Camp Timber Lake was probably the single most important decision we made during the planning process. The camp setting gave us the opportunity to create something far more immersive, personal, and joyful than we had imagined, and the camp / Gatheround staff and everyone involved in the planning process gave us the ability to execute on making all our dreams come true! In the months leading up to the wedding, we worked closely with Will, who was incredibly friendly, responsive, and on top of every detail. He always made time to talk through our many questions and helped accommodate some of our more unconventional requests—from having Camp Timber Lake cater our Sunday reception dinner (which we highly recommend!) to brainstorming the best locations for a nighttime game of kick the can. The camp itself is absolutely beautiful and was perfectly manicured for our arrival. There were endless activities for our guests to enjoy, and the staff placed sports equipment throughout the property so everyone could immediately jump into whatever interested them. Our guests had so much fun exploring the grounds, tossing frisbees and footballs, shooting hoops, and making the camp their own for the weekend. The staff including Reggie, Scott, Liz, Willow, Marcie, and so many others, were AMAZING. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making the weekend special. Scott and Liz stayed on top of every detail, and the entire team continually went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and cared for. When one of our guests lost her phone in the dining hall after hours, the team turned the lights back on and helped her search for it. After she mentioned that she was having trouble turning on the heat in her cabin, they walked over to help, then returned 15 minutes later with brownies and ice cream for her and her cabin-mates as a nice surprise. Another favorite moment happened on the dance floor Saturday night. We had brought bubble guns but realized too late that they required batteries we didn’t have. We’d given up on using them, but when Willow (one of the camp staff) overheard a friend say, “I wish we had batteries for these bubble guns.” he went and tracked down batteries from TV remotes around the camp on his own accord and got the bubble guns working. They ended up being a huge hit! Moments like these, and so many others, made us feel completely at home and made our guests feel incredibly well cared for. The food was also outstanding. We received rave reviews about every meal. The team went out of its way to accommodate dietary preferences and restrictions, providing hearty vegan and vegetarian options at every meal. They even prepared a special plate every meal for my mom, who has an autoimmune disorder that prevents her from eating most spices. The team also decorated dishes with edible flowers and made everything look beautiful. For our reception dinner on the final night, they even came up with the idea of displaying leftover Boy Scout patches from one of our weekend activities along the buffet counter. It was the perfect thoughtful touch. We had multiple guests tell us that this was their favorite wedding they had ever attended, and Camp Timber Lake (and the wonderful people who run it) were a huge reason why. Thank you for giving us and our guests such a magical, joyful, and unforgettable weekend. It truly was the best weekend of our lives! Can’t recommend this wedding venue enough!”

Literally a beautiful classic venue with such potential to make any brides dream come true. We rented the entire hotel for our reception all 19 rooms and it was perfect for our guests. Our ceremony was elsewhere but I could see someone have everything right at the Sherwood and it being completely beautiful. Greg was absolutely wonderful to work with. There are 2 venues to choose from a formal venue room on the 1st floor and a basement bar venue which we rocked and danced our reception into the early morning hours.
