Christopher Duggan Photography
Rating: 5.0 (50 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $7,950
  • Serves Circleville, NY

In the 20 years that I've been photographing professionally, I’ve honed my skill of knowing when to step in and make things happen, and when to step back and simply *allow* things to happen. Documenting the REAL emotion of the day is how we capture those picture-perfect moments. They happen organically, not by force, and I promise you: we're not going to miss ANY of them. = )

Awarded Best of Zola
Christopher Duggan Photography was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding day. From the first time we spoke, Christopher's put us at ease throughout the planning process - starting with our engagement shoot and then for the wedding day. His photos always feel natural, we were so comfortable posing for them and the results were beautiful! He and his team perfectly encapsulated the essence of our special event. Christopher has an amazing eye for detail and was so easy to work with, making us feel completely at ease in front of the camera. He is truly an amazing human being, not just a talented photographer - you can tell he genuinely loves capturing couples in their most joyful moments. We are thrilled with the final results and couldn't recommend Christopher Duggan Photography more highly. Our albums are absolutely gorgeous and will be family heirlooms we cherish forever.

Hi, I’m Richard, a wedding photographer based in the Hudson Valley. My passion is finding the beauty in the simplest moments and capturing them in a way that feels raw, real, and full of life. As a candid, photojournalist photographer, I’m all about ditching stiff poses to focus on the relationships, the laughs, and the genuine emotions that tell your distinct story. I aim to capture the little details and authentic moments that make your day uniquely yours.

Awarded Best of Zola
Richard is the VIBE! I can't give enough stars! From the unexpectedly windy engagement shoot, to the magic of the 1st look, to the moody magazine worthy portraits, to capturing the best moments all night..he adapted and integrated himself into our day and our family with ease. He blended into the background and truly felt like he was part of the party! Richard is a true professional! He comes off super relaxed and casually says he "has some ideas" and then he turns on the magic. He plays with the lighting and the surroundings and the weather and adapts any moment and any backdrop into a canvas for his art. I really could go on for paragraphs over how spectacular he was to work with, and it brings tears to my eyes to write this after I relive our wedding day in each and every photograph he took that day. I can feel every moment all over again and it is truly remarkable! Thank you Richard for becoming part of our family! xoxo -Lauren and Chris

Writing a LONG overdue review for Megan and Kenneth, who we worked with for our summer 2025 wedding in Saugerties, NY. These two are simply the best of the best!!!! After seeing Megan and Kenneth’s photography style, we knew we were interested in working with them, but once we had our first phone call, we were sold. These two are true professionals— they are organized, efficient with communication, and ultimately, caring friends and partners to their clients. We had full trust in Megan and Kenneth on the day of our engagement shoot and on our wedding day, and they were such a kind and comforting presence throughout. They helped my husband and I feel at ease in front of the camera! Not to mention— we got our photos back SO fast after our wedding :) We are so, so grateful to Megan and Kenneth for absolutely everything. Hire them — you will be so glad you did!!!

Matthew Rigby Photography

·Ratings include Zola and Google reviews
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Circleville, NY

I'm Matthew, a wedding photographer based in Garrison, NY. With a decade as a wedding photographer and 15 years as an educator, I bring two things to every wedding: the ability to document moments as they happen, and the calm to handle whatever the day brings. I prepare carefully, communicate beforehand, and stay present when it's busy. My style is mostly documentary. I blend into the wedding, observing and documenting moments as they happen rather than staging them. Feedback I hear most often is that couples weren't aware of me, but that I got everything. I work with all couples and celebrate every kind of love, and every kind of marriage.

Awarded Best of Zola
We are so grateful to have had Matthew photograph our welcome party. From the very beginning, he was incredibly thoughtful and intentional, asking such meaningful questions leading up to the event to really understand what was important to us and who we wanted to have captured. He did such an amazing job documenting the excitement and emotion of the night before our wedding, from every embrace and laugh to all of the little candid moments we may have otherwise forgotten. The photos are beautiful, crisp, and full of so much joy and personality!! Looking through them brings us right back to that night and all of the excitement we felt heading into our wedding day. We truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better to capture such a special part of our wedding weekend!

5 stars is not enough! Eddie captured our engagement photos and our wedding day in April. From the initial discovery call, we knew Eddie was the right choice. He made us feel so relaxed and comfortable even though we normally feel awkward taking photos. He communicated clearly, planned and stayed organized throughout the year. On the wedding day, his talent really shined!! Not only did he make the day feel magical, he helped it run smoothly and made us and our families so comfortable, he was even great taking photos of our toddler flower girls and ring bearer, he truly touched all of our hearts! He is recommended from our wedding venue Hollow Brook Golf Club and he worked seamlessly with their staff to make our day perfect. The pictures turned out absolutely stunning!! He made sure to get tons photos of us, the venue, and our guests too! We are forever grateful for Eddie and Angelo capturing our day through their lenses!

You know that all encompassing feeling when you’re revisiting a vivid memory? That magic is what I hope to capture as your photographer. It’s my job to hold those moments in time so that they don’t have to fade. You’ll forever be able to revisit the moment, see the exact way they smiled, revisit that incredible sunset, relive the memory and turn back time.

My approach is rooted in a documentary style that focuses on capturing genuine, unscripted moments as they naturally unfold. Whether it's the quiet emotion of an intimate vow exchange or the energy of a packed dance floor, I’m there to observe and preserve it all with honesty and intention. From small elopements to full-scale celebrations, I pay close attention to both the subtle details and the powerful, unforgettable scenes—because every wedding has its own unique story, and my goal is to tell it truthfully through my lens

Aleksandra is truly the definition of a professional. She has a clear, confident approach while being completely in the moment, adapting naturally to whatever’s happening. She captured our vibe perfectly and got the best angles. Communication before and after was seamless. On top of that, we got endless compliments on our photos- people, even on the day, couldn’t stop telling us how impressive she was. We recommend her to everyone!

Stef Reyes Photo

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,200
  • Serves Circleville, NY

Hi, I'm Stef. I photograph intimate weddings, NYC City Hall ceremonies, and micro celebrations where presence matters more than production. My approach is documentary at its core. I'm not directing every moment, I'm moving through your day quietly, watching for the ones that actually matter. I shoot both digital and 35mm film, not as an aesthetic choice but because film asks everyone to slow down a little. That slowness is kind of the whole point. Based in New York City and the Hudson Valley, available for travel.

Awarded Best of Zola
I had the pleasure of working with Stef when I created a bouquet for one of her elopement shoots. The experience was wonderful from start to finish. She was incredibly easy to communicate with throughout the process - always responsive and clear about her vision and needs. The final photos were absolutely beautiful and she captured the romance and intimacy of the shoot perfectly. As a vendor, I really appreciated how collaborative and pleasant she was to work with. I would definitely recommend her to any couple looking for an elopement photographer who combines artistic talent with a genuinely caring, professional approach.

What's up? I'm Mike, and I love making kick-ass photos. I'm not a wedding photographer because I "absolutely love making people happy and capturing their beautiful story." I do this because I LOVE the feeling of making awesome photos, and I love serving awesome people.

Mike is truly an exceptional wedding photographer. From the very start of the process, he took the time to connect with us and understand our vision for the day. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine passion for his craft made him a joy to work with. On the day itself, Mike felt like part of the celebration—capturing every emotion, detail, and special moment with effortless artistry. His ability to make everyone feel comfortable and at ease is just one of his many talents. Looking back at the photos is like stepping into those cherished moments again, and we’re beyond grateful for the memories he's given us. If you want a photographer who will exceed your expectations while connecting with you every step of the way, Mike is the one!

A good friend of mine has said that my brand is to care. She isn’t wrong-my brand is one of caring because my being is one of caring. I’ve been a wedding photog for 14+ yrs. I find that being a wedding photog is a gift - I barely have the words to describe how special it feels to be invited into clients’ most momentous & intimate wedding moments over & over again. I’m a champion for the weird & whimsical, the fun & funky - even & especially on wedding days. Plan your day the way you want to, trends be damned. Let your wedding day reflect your joy. That’s what we’re all there to celebrate, anyway. ✨

The day we met with Erica, we knew she was the right choice! She was booked for our date already, but she highly recommended Amanda as lead photographer who is part of her Sweet Alice Studios Team and Erica then edits the photos! I cannot stress how superb Erica’s communication style is; she is quick to respond to emails and with kindness every time. You can tell how much she cares about her clients and how much she truly loves her job! She was essential for creating our timeline and her professional wisdom was so helpful throughout the process! We met with Amanda for our engagement shoot and hit it off immediately! She was so helpful for two people who are shy in front of the camera, and she truly captured our personalities with ease! We met with Amanda 2 weeks or so before the wedding to talk through our wants and to give us some guidance on some details. On the wedding day Amanda and second photographer Debbie were wonderful!! They arrived early, were open to any and all last-minute photo ideas, and available when we needed them. They were a perfect mix of calm and joyous throughout the whole day! So kind and efficient, they allowed us to really soak in the little moments on our wedding day. My husband even mentioned that Amanda gave him a little pep talk accompanied by some tissues prior to the ceremony and later she gave us the biggest hug after our first dance (which he had been so anxious about!). The team genuinely makes you feel seen, heard, and like we had some extra friends on our big day there to support us. Some of our favorite shots are little unposed moments that captured the authentic joy our day gave us! Then we got about 100 sneak-peek photos within 3 days of our wedding date (mind you the team had at least 3 weddings that weekend) and we were totally blown away! The vividness of the Fall foliage was STUNNING. My friends/family raved about our photos, and I cannot wait to hang prints of them all over our house! I am recommending Sweet Alice to any bride I cross paths with because this team is just that good!

We were so lucky to have found Kathryn for our wedding. As a photographer, Kathryn is an artist. She has incredible talent, creative ideas, and delivers stunning results. As a person, Kathryn is simply a joy. She is warm, easygoing, and fun. She made the process so easy from start to finish and we actually miss getting to chat with her! We are a same-sex, interfaith couple, and came to the table with family drama, a crazy dog, and a mashing of cultures. Kathryn didn't bat an eyelash. She has a true inclusive spirit, and that continues to mean a lot to us. If you want to be able to relive your special day with profound joy for years to come, just choose Kathryn! We so hope for our paths to cross again someday and we look forward to recommending Kathryn to anyone who will listen. We wish her nothing but the success that she deserves.

If I have a camera in my hands, then I am most definitely smiling. Photography has been my passion since I was a teenager and I love bringing that passion to weddings. I strive to capture all the intimate details that make a wedding truly personal. Don't be surprised if you see me crying during the parent dances, it's one of my favorite moments :)

Awarded Best of Zola
Sarah is firstly a gifted artist and photographer. As you can see she understands space and color in a way that my wife and I clearly do not but more importantly she understands what makes a moment feel special. We asked Sarah to deliver a documentary style wedding experience and she did not fail. When my wife and I chose Sarah, she immediately got to work helping us to plan our wedding day in a way that you might not necessarily expect from a wedding photographer. Sarah was so personal and friendly on the day of our wedding, it felt more like we had a friend taking our pictures as a favor. However, the finished products speak for themselves: our friends and family celebrating, iconic moments of the day, and our love clearly shown throughout. Sarah delivered organization, artistry, and value in a comprehensive package that can’t be beat.

Hey! I'm Nina. I'm a pretty energetic and charismatic person that loves love and enjoys life. Documenting through photo is my favorite thing on this planet. I've been a professional photographer since 2016 but really I've been invested in photography since I was 15 years old. My love for documenting moments came from a desire to capture my own life and that of my friends using disposable cameras, flip phone cameras and point and shoot digital cameras on beach trips with friends. I have used writing, art, and photo to document my life and it is an incredibly special thing to be able to share that with my clients.

Awarded Best of Zola
We honestly can't recommend Nina enough! She photographed both our engagement session and our wedding day, and choosing her was one of the best decisions we made. We had never had professional photos taken before, and Nina immediately made us feel so comfortable and at ease. Our engagement session was such a fun experience and gave us so much confidence going into our wedding day. On our wedding day, Nina was everything you could hope for in a photographer. She was such a calming presence, kept everything running smoothly, and made taking photos feel effortless and fun. She captured every moment so naturally while making us feel completely present throughout the day. When we received our photos, we were absolutely blown away. Nina captured our day so beautifully, and we will cherish these memories forever. We are so grateful we chose her and couldn't recommend her more highly!

Cappy Hotchkiss Photography
Rating: 5.0 (8 reviews)

  • Serves Circleville, NY

I grew up in Amagansett, NY, one town away from Montauk, hanging out at the ocean, riding horses, and photographing my plastic Breyer horse models in different scenarios with my little crappy film camera, always searching for the perfect light. I have since moved on to photographing people with better equipment and I still always search for that perfect light. I now live in the lovely Hudson Valley after a long stint in NYC and Brooklyn where I trained under fashion and editorial photographers before starting my own photography business almost 20 years ago. Full disclosure, I'm a little scared of the ocean.

Cappy Hotchkiss Photography was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first connected, their communication style was friendly, responsive, and clear. They took the time to understand our vision and made sure we felt at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of their work is truly exceptional - their photos have a nostalgic, natural, and emotional quality that perfectly captured the spirit of our special day. Cappy's skill and creativity shone through, even in the challenging backgrounds of our intimate venue in Greenport. They beautifully documented every moment, from the getting ready shots to the ceremony and reception. The final images are timeless, memorable, and absolutely perfect. We couldn't be happier with the results and highly recommend Cappy Hotchkiss Photography to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photographer.

I like to find beauty in the balance between the shadows and the light. They are rarely inseparable. They are complex and totally opposite and yet they can not live without the other. Just like real connection. What is real is beautiful. Only love is real. Your wedding day is important. To you. To your families. To me. And I don’t take it lightly. I understand that you’ve never done this before and you may not even know where to start! Don’t worry- I got you!

Finding a good photographer was high on our priority list for vendors. We got married outside in the Catskill Mountains and as such we wanted a photographer capable of capturing the depth of the forest. After looking through Sam's portfolio we knew she was good, but after working with her and seeing her work firsthand we can say she's the best. Getting your photo taken can be awkward, especially given the high stakes of a wedding. But Sam is able to make you feel immediately comfortable while simultaneously taking the most stunning photos you'll ever see. We also had a connection session with her, which we would highly recommend so that you can know how she works - very fun and relaxed, but professional. Sam helped us outline the entire day of the wedding, and based on her knowledge the day went off without a hitch. We're so grateful she agreed to work with us!

My clients describe me as caring, passionate about my work, and trustworthy. I am honored to feel like an extended member of the family when I'm photographing weddings! When I’m not working with amazing people, you'll find me hiking in the Hudson Valley, brunching with my girlfriends, or planning my next vacation (mostly likely on a beach somewhere). I'm obsessed with warm weather, family gatherings, and sunsets. When it's chilly out, you'll find me with a hot cocoa in hand. If there's music on, it's likely country or throwback 80s jams. ALL people and love stories are welcome here!

We love Debbie! Debbie has been such a pleasure to work with through our wedding process. Since our first meeting with her, Debbie made us feel super comfortable and at home, feeling more like a family friend more than just our photographer. She has a great knack for getting the best shots and captures authentic feeling in her photos. She was so good at helping us relax in our photos (which was great for me as a notorious camera-shy guy). Debbie will be our first call for any professional photography in the future and we 110% recommend her!

This is such a special time and I’m so excited for you! 🤗💍 If you’re still looking for a wedding photographer, I’d love to connect! I’m Erin Braden, and I specialize in capturing real, emotional, joy-filled wedding days across the Hudson Valley and beyond. I work closely with every couple to learn your story, your style, and your vision—then turn that into a wedding gallery that feels personal, powerful, and authentically you. Whether your vibe is romantic, wild, classy, or totally laid-back, I’ll make sure your photos reflect it all.

Erin's photos are like no other. She did an amazing job with our engagement photos and a fabulous job with our wedding photos! Her photos speak for themselves but she also went above and beyond for us. After the ceremony, we greeted each guest as they entered the venue. While I was hugging everyone, she took off my removable sleeves and bustled my dress, while also managing to get beautiful pictures of us hugging friends and family. She heard me say before the ceremony that I would be taking the sleeves off and bustling the dress right away and she took action. Throughout the entire wedding day she was moving, climbing on top of things and laying out the ground to get the perfect shots. And she sure did!! She also posted our sneak peak photos the very next morning. We received 7 beautifully edited pictures before we even left the hotel the next day. Later that day she sent us a link to about 5,000 pictures she took at our wedding. They are not yet edited, so we can't post all of them yet. From talking to friends and reading things in Facebook groups, I know it is not normal to be able to see all of the photos so fast. It was such a gift to look through the photos so soon, instead of waiting for months. She works hard, she works quickly, and she produces photos beyond what we imagined we would get from our wedding day.

We wholeheartedly recommend Anita to any couple searching for a professional, reliable, and extraordinarily talented photographer

Photographs are the part of your special day that you get to take with you, and that help you look back on and cherish the memories. Picking a photographer was very important to us for this reason. Obviously, their style and work is important. But you also need personality, someone that can get you laughing and direct your vision. Vicki and Allan were incredible, and just what we needed. From being open and willing to explore our quirky requests, to capturing the fine details we wouldn't have considered. The two of them made sure our night, and the whole experience, was incredibly memorable and every moment will be kept dear and cherished. Part of booking with them includes an engagement shoot. This was a great opportunity to meet with them in person before the big day, confirm that the vibes on the phone matched those in person; and we also got some lovely pictures that we used on our invitations. On the day, they are with you for the whole experience. They didn’t time the hours they were there, or pester us about going over a time limit. We had them for the whole day and that's what they delivered. From getting ready photos all the way through to the late night bonfire. We also really loved that they work as a team by default. You automatically get two shooters for the day, and they split up as needed to capture both sides of the party. They are married and so in sync, it was very clear they had many years of experience working with each other and in the industry. Our families rave about how our “photographers were perfect in every aspect” and we will wholly be recommending them to any and all of our friends who get married in the future. Everything was incredible.

After being around weddings for years, I've found my place in specializing in intimate weddings, where I aim to encapsulate the distinct essence of every couple's love story through my lens. From the quiet glances to the joyous tears, having had the privilege to witness and immortalize numerous heartfelt moments, I'm dedicated to ensuring that your wedding day is documented in a way that resonates profoundly with your unique journey together.

Dayna is so great! She has such an incredible eye for photos and has a really beautiful way of catching moments. She also has a personality/demeanor that is so easy to get along with, and I really vibed with her. We got our wedding photos back in 5 weeks, and they are all absolutely GORGEOUS. She listened to what we wanted and what we were nervous for (and repeated it back to us to make sure she understood). I am so happy we booked Dayna and I wholeheartedly recommend her to other couples planning their wedding!

I'm a visual storyteller with a passion for capturing love in its purest form. With 10 years in the photography world and 9 years of experience in weddings, I've had the privilege of documenting countless love stories. My style is all about authenticity and emotion. I strive to freeze those genuine, fleeting moments — the laughter, the tears, the stolen glances — in a visual symphony that tells the unique tale of your love. I've always been a cheesy "lover of love." I feel lucky to document such vulnerable emotions, life-changing experiences, and really awesome parties!

Alex is AMAZING. Her photos left us in awe — I was so impressed by how she listened to my vision and adapted her style accordingly. Most of all, though, Alex excels in all things related to running a business — she’s prompt in email responses, professional with her contracts and payment process, and goes above and beyond to connect you with resources for a successful day (a last minute coordinator, in my case). This is what really sets her apart from other vendors in my opinion. Run, don’t walk, to hire Alex for your wedding!

Clean Plate Pictures began when Erica Beckman left her fancy Photo Editor job at The Wall Street Journal to photograph happy couples full-time - guess what? Weddings are way more fun. Erica earned her degree in photography and uses her twenty years of experience in the industry to bring exacting editorial standards and creative excellence to all her work. Her documentary style captures genuine emotions and artfully records events as they unfold organically.

From the moment we booked Clean Plate Pictures, we were impressed with their communication and responsiveness. Erica was always open to our suggestions and worked closely with us to ensure they captured our day perfectly. Her impeccable attention to detail and great eye for the perfect shot were evident in every photo. She was able to herd our many relatives to make the family shoot less stressful, and even made the slightly janky Hyatt Place look elegant in the getting-ready photos. Erica was so friendly and had a strong expertise on the best shots for our venue. We were thrilled that Erica was willing to travel to New York City to shoot our engagement photos as well. We absolutely loved working with Erica (and Elle the second shoot, a dream!) and would highly recommend Clean Plate Pictures to any couple looking for professional, talented, and personable wedding photographers.

Rebecca has been working as a professional photographer for over 10 years. She began with a small film camera, taking photos at her favorite concerts. As she grew, so did her unique style and her passion. She attended the Academy of Art in San Francisco, Ca. and obtained a BA in Advertising Photography. Over the past 10 years she has had the opportunity to photograph events in places such as Portland, Or., San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Monterey, Ca., Washington DC, Florida and now New York City. She frequently travels for her photography and loves every moment.

Where do I begin... When I first started looking for a photographer I had a certain vision in mind. I didn't want the typical posed pictures for engagement/wedding pictures. I wanted someone whose work stood out and was unique. I emailed Becca as soon as I came across her work hoping she had our wedding date opened. She did! I think after like two emails back and forth I booked her, I knew she was the photographer for us, super chill and laid back. When we first met for our engagement pictures I was super nervous, my husband and I aren't photogenic at all, and personally I feel like pictures are awkward. Becca is a natural, I felt like I was hanging out with a long lost friend and she made us both feel beyond comfortable. She got our pictures back to us within a week and we were OBSESSED! Fast forward to our wedding day... Becca and her assistant Raven went above and beyond... No words can explain how happy we are with our albums. I can't wait for our future photo sessions together!
