“I cannot recommend Amplified Events MI enough!! I first discovered them at a wedding at Journeymans and they kept the night seamless. We wanted a DJ for our wedding that took our playlist seriously while also giving some creative freedom, so I asked for their information. Let me tell you - they did not disappoint!! DJ Jeff kept the dancing electric and there was never a moment where the floor was empty. He was so helpful throughout the planning process and answered all my 100 questions as an anxious bride. We decided to go with the uplights & photobooth as well, which we can say was the best decision!! It added the perfect ambiance & our family raved about the photos they got to take home. The Michigan team was basically our wedding coordinator for the whole process & especially on the day of, so we couldn’t have done it without them. He even custom edited a song for my father/daughter dance so I could have both parts I liked. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making our wedding unforgettable!! I can’t wait to add photos once we get them back :)”

“I'm not kidding. Stop looking for DJs, photo booths, etc. and just book Team Wedding Day. If they're not available or already booked, well then move your wedding. Yes you're looking to book a DJ, but what you don't realize you need is mics for the ceremony, lighting, an emcee who won't make your wedding cheesy, and more. Niko was so amazing to work with leading up to the event and includes so many things in one big package that it's so nice to just check things off in one swoop. Team Wedding Day had us covered back to front. Niko is so nice and kind on the phone, so when he started mixing sick-nasty beats during the dance party, I was like "OMG who is this guy!" He fit our vibe perfectly, followed our play/don't play list, and emceed our wedding like a true pro. Niko listens, but pushes back when he thinks something would work better from his experience and it was so nice to work with him. During the cocktail hour and diner, he was always keeping tabs with us, making sure we stayed on schedule, asking if we needed anything, etc. and it gave us so much confidence that things were running smoothly. Everyone at our wedding commented on how fun the dance floor was and it was 100% Niko. The photo booth was SUPER nice, much better than any I've ever used or seen before. And at the end of the night, they gave us a little album of every photo strip everyone had taken which was super unexpected but such a great surprise! “Just to preface - I take wedding dance floors extremely seriously. I think it is make or break for the reception. My fiancé and I were trying to keep costs as low as we could and had our eyes on a few other DJ’s that were within our price range and had been good at other weddings until I stumbled on DJ One Chance. I knew from the second I saw his Instagram that I needed to have him at our wedding. His energy, charisma, and ability to read the room is incredible. He was a bit out of our original price range (which was very low to begin with, keep in mind) and I can absolutely tell you that he is worth every single penny. Every planning meeting we had with him got us more and more excited to have him with us on the day of. He listened to the vibe and energy we were going for and could not have done a better job. My parents were blown away that for a bit of a tight dance floor and 200 guests, the dance floor was PACKED from 8:30 - Midnight. Some quotes we received from friends were “I haven’t danced that much at a wedding in a long time” - Rick, 59 years old and “Your DJ was insane. He knew which songs were hits with the crowd and kept the energy going” - MK, 30. He was a hit with every age group and we are forever indebted him for creating the dance floor of our dreams. I have never seen so many people compliment a wedding DJ or a dance floor so passionately. DJ One Chance worked with us seamlessly to make sure we were able to have the best day ever. He even let us request one more last song after the “last song” that we picked ourselves didn’t hit as hard as we wanted. Yazz Events

“I've been to my fair share of weddings the last few years and I can definitively say that Yazz Events is one of the best live wedding bands I have ever seen. My calves were more sore the day after the wedding than when I ran the Chicago Marathon a few weeks prior. That's how hard I was dancing all night. We had a bilingual wedding (Spanish/English) and the MC, Hector, was able to speak and instruct guests in both languages. SO AWESOME! They also played the perfect blend of songs in both languages. Many of our Spanish speaking guests had not seen a live band like this before and they loved it. Amy, the owner, was amazing with planning and giving suggestions for the setlist. We also hired the jazz duo for our rehearsal dinner. They added such a calming presence to that night. 10/10 all around. Thank you Yazz Events!”
